Mrs. Lydia E. Waggoner, 88, of Lima, died at 2 a.m.
Saturday in Lima Manor Nursing Home following an extended illness.
Born in Richland County, April 21, 1887, she was
the daughter of John J and Leuella ( Coates ) Sheely. Her husband, L. Ed
Waggoner, died in 1952.
Mrs. Waggoner was a member of Calvary United Church
of Christ.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. L. Lewis (Mary)
Kohli of Lima; one sister Mrs. Esther Bisnett of Zephyr Hills, Fla; and
4 grandchildren.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Chiles
& Sons- Laman West Wayne Street Chapel, Rev. Thomas E. Eisenman officating.
Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Cloe O’Neill, 90, of Lima died at 1:45 p.m. Sunday at
her home.
She was born Mar. 17, 1894, in Lafayette, to John C &
Ollie ( Bowers ) Hullibarger. She maried Joseph O’Neill who is deceased.
Mrs. O’ Neill was a homemaker.
Survivors include a brother, John of Lima; and several
nieces & nephews.
Services will be at 10: 30 a.m. Wednesday at Wayne
Street Chapel of Chiles & Sons-Laman, Rev. Willard Thomas officating.
Cremation will follow. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Laman Lewis Memorial Chapel for Dr. Arthur J. O’Neill 62. He died at 8:37
a.m. Wednesday at his residence.
He was born Mar. 31, 1924, in Cleveland, to John &
Viola ( Vonboxal) O’Neill. On Jul 29, 1950, he married Marilyn Houston,
who survives.
Mr. O’Neill was a self-emplyed chiropractor. He
was a member of Jehovah’s Witnesses and the Ohio Chiropratic Association.
Survivors also include one son, Tery of Columbus;
one daughter, Mrs. Jotham (Liann) White of Columbus and 1 grandchild.

Peter M. O’Neill, 96, of Lima died at 1:30 p.m. at Oaks
Convalescent Home after an extended illness.
He was born Nov. 9, 1873, in County Clark, Ireland
to John & Mary (Doyle) O’Neill.
A retired boiler-maker for the Baltimore &
Ohio Railroad, he was a member of St. Rose Catholis Church, Catholic Knights
of Ohio and International Brotherhood of Boilermakers.
Surviving is a brother Joseph of Lima.
Requeim High Mass will be 10 a.m. at St. Rose with
burial in Gethsemani Cemetery.

Lawrence (Larry) O’Neill, 87, of Lima, died at 6:30
p.m. Saturday in Oaks Convalescnent Home, where he had been a patient for
2 ½ months.
Born in Lima, Dec. 4, 1886, to John & Johanna
( Higgins ) O’Neill.
Employed as a boilermaker at Baldwin-Lima-Hamilton,
he retired in 1954. He was a member of the BLH 25 Year Club, Council of
Elders and the Oldtime Cigarmakers Club.
Surviving are his wife, Grace (Giberson) O’Neill;
2 daughters, Mrs. Earl ( Elizabeth) Kizer and Mrs. Darrell ( Betty) Schlosser
both of Lima; 1 brother, Raymond also of Lima; 6 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren
and 2 great great grandchildren.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Siferd
Westwood Chapel, Rev. James Kuhn officating. Burial will be in Memorial
Park Cemetery.

at 3 p.m. Monday at St. Rita’s hosptial following an extended illness.
She was born Apr 19, 1906 in Ada to Douglas & Emma
(Eaton) Pugh. She married Raymond R. O’Neill, who died Sep 21, 1978.
Mrs. O’Neill was a homemaker. She was a member
of St. Rose Catholic Church and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary
and the Orioles Auxiliary.
Survivors include a daughter, Lila Todd of Houston,
Fla; a grandchild; a great-grandchild; and a half-sister, Mabel Ream of
Lima.
Burial will be in Gethsemani Cemetery.

at St. Rita’s Hosptial emergency room following an extended illness.
She was born Feb 6, 1902, in Lima to William &
Ada (Farnum) Arbuthnot. On May 31, 1926, she married C.B. Schmidt, who
survives.
Mrs. Schmidt was a member of St. Luke’s Evangelical
Lutheran Church and the Birthday Club.
Survivors includa a son, Lee of El Paso, Tx; and
3 grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Siferd Westwood

1954. She then married Albert O’Neil in 1961, and he died in 1965.

Fla, C.J., Richard, Thomas Webb, all of Lima; and William of Albuquerque,
N.M.; a daughter Mrs. Ted (Mary) Godfrey of Lima; 30 grandchildren; and
30 great-grandchildren.

His wife Mary (Busick) O’Neil who survives. He
was an employee of Ford Motor Co., a member of St. Rose Catholic Church
and a Navy veteran of the Korean War.

Laura; 4 sons, James, Shawn, Stephen and William all at home. Two brothers,
Rev. Flann O’Neil of Kayenta,Az; Joseph of Tallahassee, Fla.; and a sister
Mrs. James ( Margaret) Burns of Cincinnati.

at the home of her daughter in Cincinnati following an extended illness.

Mrs. O’Neil was a retired telephone operator. She
was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church, its Altar and Rosary Society
and the Daughters of Isabella.

Burns of Cincinnati; 2 sons, Rev. Flann O”Neil of Waterflow, N.M., and
Joseph of Talahassee, Fla.; a sister Mrs. C.H. ( Clare) Carroll of Yakima,
Wa.; 19 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.

Lewis Schmenk 77, of Lima died Friday at 11:25 a.m. in
St. Rita’s Hosptial after suffering a heart attack in his home Thursday.

Mr. Schmenk was a retired engineer with the state highway
department, serving in that capacity from 1945 through 1971. He was a member

14 years ago. He was a member of St. Gerard’s Catholic Church.

She belonged to the Friends of Library, the Business and Professional
Women of the YWCA and the YWCa.

He was born May 20, 1912 in Hillsboro to Henry

Mr. White was retired after 33 years service with
the Nickel Plate and Norfolk and Western railroads. He was a member of

Herschel D. White 81, of Lima died Wednesday at Lima Memorial
Hosptial.
He was born Mar 12, 1901 in Hillsboro to Henry

He was also a past patron of Trinity Chapter
16 Order of Eastern Star, former scoutmaster of Troop 37 and a member of
Westinghouse Veteran Employees Association.

She was born Aug 31, 1889 in Mercer Co., to H.B.

She was a former Allen County clerk of courts, and was
a member of the Market Street Presbyerian Church and the Soroptomist Club.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Cira was a homemaker and had been an elevator operator

the services. The interment was at Woodlawn cemetery.
