ALBANY -- Agnes Penrod, 86, of Albany, died Saturday, March 8, 2003, in Athens.
Born Aug. 1, 1916, in Carbondale, she was the daughter of the late Aaron and Mattie Penrod.
A memorial graveside service will be held at a later date. No calling hours will be observed.
Arrangements will be announced by Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home in Logan.

Frank H. Brown Jr.
Died: Friday, March 7, 2003
Age: 78
McCONNELSVILLE -- Frank H. Brown Jr., 78, of Malta, died Friday, March 7, 2003, at Genesis Good Samaritan Medical Center Emergency Room.
Born June 7, 1924, in Hocking County, he was a son of the late Frank and Dorothy McDaniel Brown.
Frank was retired from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Wildlife after 40 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II, a life member of VFW Post 4713, Malta; a member of American Legion Post 24, McConnelsville; life member of DAV; Amvets Post 2174, McConnelsville; F.O.E., McConnelsville; Ohio Farm Bureau; Ohio Game Protectors Association; Wildlife Management Association; Public Employees Retirement Association; Morgan County Re-enactors Association and Port of Morgan Boat Club.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Rosser Brown, whom he married Oct. 6, 1949; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Helen Brown and Dorothy Sherman; and a brother, Bill Brown.
Calling hours will be held today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home, McConnelsville. Services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will be at Malta Cemetery with military rites by the Morgan County Veterans.
Zelma E. Grady
Died: Friday, March 7, 2003
Age: 54
POMEROY -- Zelma E. Grady, 54, of Pomeroy, died Friday, March 7, 2003, at Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis.
Born March 1, 1949, in Long Bottom, she was the daughter of the late Isaac and Lennie James Taylor. She is survived by her husband, Delmer Grady, and children Evelyn Hoffman and Richard Grady.
Services will be Monday, 1 p.m., at Cremeens Funeral Home, Racine. Burial will be in Letart Falls Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday after 11 a.m.
Kenneth P. McClellan
Died: Saturday, January 18, 2003
Age: 58
JACKSONVILLE -- Kenneth P. McClellan, 58, of Jacksonville, died Saturday, Jan. 18, 2003, at Jacksonville.
Born Sept. 27, 1944, in Glouster, he was son of the late Kenneth J. and Ladonna Whaley McClellan. He was a member of Concord Church.
He is survived by his wife, Paulda I. Humphrey McClellan; sons Kenneth P. McClellan of Athens, Mike McClellan of the home and Dustin McClellan of Jacksonville; daughter Sheila McClellan of Jacksonville; four grandchildren and one great-grandson; and a sister, Marilyn McClellan of Glouster.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jackie Lee McClellan.
No calling hours or services will be held. Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Home, Murray City.
John H. Bishop

WELLSTON -- John H. "Pops" Bishop, 78, of Pataskala, died Friday, Jan. 17, 2003, at his residence.
Born April 16, 1924, in Wellston, he was the son of the late William and Edna Huston Bishop. He was a World War II Navy veteran.
He is survived by five daughters, Julie Kennard, Jeri King, Joyce Brown, Janet Calore-Bishop and Joan Chambers.
Services were today at Kauber-Miller Funeral Home, Pataskala. Burial was in Kirkersville Cemetery.

Genevieve V. Hilleary
Died: Friday, January 17, 2003
Age: 90
NELSONVILLE -- Genevieve V. Hilleary, 90, formerly of Nelsonville, died Friday, Jan. 17, 2003, at Ashley Manor, where she had been a resident for 8 1/2 years.
Born July 9, 1912, in Nelsonville to Oma "Martin" and George Beagle, she was a member of the First Christian Church and BPW Club in Nelsonville.
She is survived by two nieces, Marsha Keefer of Delaware and GiGi White of Springfield; a nephew, David Hilleary of Westerville; and great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl, a former mayor of Nelsonville, in March 1993; two sisters, Edythe L. Betts and Vivian Kirkendall; a niece, Sharon K. Betts in November 1959; and a nephew, Robert Kirkendall in December 2001.
A memorial service will be held at First Christian Church in Nelsonville on Wednesday at 1 p.m.

Tedd R. McCormick
Died: Friday, January 17, 2003
Age: 55
ATHENS -- Tedd R. McCormick, 55, of Athens, died unexpectedly Friday morning, Jan. 17, 2003, at his home.
Born in Sewickley, Pa., on Jan. 26, 1947, he was the son of the late Edward and Mary Laughlin McCormick. He was employed by Logan High School, where he had been school librarian for 28 years and also served as student council adviser and many years as a baseball coach. He was a graduate of Aliquippa (Pa.) High School, and received his bachelors degree from Kent State University. He was an avid sports fan and loved playing golf, fishing and playing softball, and traveling with many friends. A former member of the Pennsylvania National Guard, he will be especially missed by his family and many friends.
He is survived by his sister, Lynne (Gilbert) Sanders of State College, Pa., and several cousins and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at a later date for the family in Pennsylvania.
Friends may call Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Jagers and Sons Funeral Home, Athens, where friends and colleagues will gather at 8 p.m.

George E. Sellers
Died: Thursday, January 16, 2003
Age: 85
POMEROY -- George E. Sellers, 85, of Millersburg, formerly of Meigs County, died Thursday, Jan. 16, 2003, at Millersburg.
Born Oct. 27, 1917, in Portland, he was the son of the late John R. and Clara Edna Long Sellers. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vyticem Sellers.
Funeral services are Monday at noon at Fisher Funeral Home, Pomeroy. Burial will be in Sand Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home today from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday one hour prior to the service.
Nina E. Windle
Died: Thursday, January 16, 2003
Age: 89
ATHENS -- Nina E. Windle, 89, of Athens, died Thursday, Jan. 16, 2003, at Crestview Manor, Lancaster.
Born April 2, 1913, in Hollister, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Jackson and Silda Ann Whaley. She was a former nurse for Mount St. Mary Hospital in Nelsonville and Kimes Convalescent Center in Athens.
She is survived by a daughter, Betty Hughes of Columbus; 10 grandchildren, and many great- and great-great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rollie Windle; two sons, Robert and Raymond Windle; two grandchildren, six sisters and a brother.
Graveside services will be held Monday, 1 p.m., at Asbury Cemetery, Hocking County, with Paul Barnes officiating. There will be no calling hours or funeral.
