John V. Kasler

Age: 92
ATHENS - John V. Kasler, 92, formerly of 1420 Graf St., Lancaster, passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2003, in Plano, Texas.
He was born May 15, 1911, near Trimble. He retired as an assistant comptroller from Ohio University. His wife of 62 years, Helen, preceded him in death in 1997.
John is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Alice and Frank Schuh, and Mary Ann and Bob Wilson, all of Plano, Texas, Martha and Chris Warren of Hilliard, and Linda and Bob Schantz of Carrollton, Texas; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; and sisters-in-law Eula (Arthur) Kasler of Athens and Leta (Gale) Kasler of Milwaukee, Wis.
He was preceded in death by brothers Arthur, Dean and Gale, and a sister, Virgene.
Visitation and Rosary will be at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Plano, on Sunday. Funeral Mass will be at the church on Monday at 11 a.m., with Fr. Henry Petter officiating. Texas arrangements are by Sparkman Dickey of Dallas.
Mass of Christian burial will be Wednesday, 11:30 a.m., at St. Bernadette Church, Wheeling Road, Lancaster, with Frs. Justin Reis and David Huffman and Deacon Pat Wiggins officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:30 until the time of service. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Lancaster.
Friends and family are invited to join the family for lunch.

GLOUSTER - Katherine W. Wade, 88, of Glouster, died Tuesday, June 3, 2003, at Hickory Creek Nursing Center, The Plains.
Born Aug. 18, 1914, in New Marshfield, she was the daughter of the late John and Sarissa Woodard Rhorick. She was a member of Glouster Eagles, Jacksonville Old Settlers Senior Center and Glouster 3 Star Senior Center.
She is survived by a daughter, Sharron Roberts of Glouster; a granddaughter, Sarissa (Todd) Dennis of Murray City; a grandson, Tom (fiancee Amber Gabriel) Thomas of Glouster; and two great-grandchildren, Todd II and Bethany Dennis of Murray City.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Aaron J. Wade, in 1978; a sister, Hazel Steele; and two brothers, Charlie and Don Rhorick.
Services will be held Friday, 1 p.m., at Brown Funeral Home, Murray City, with the Rev. William Hunter officiating. Burial will be in New Marshfield Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home today from 6 to 9 p.m., where an Eagles memorial service will be held at 7.
George Washington Irwin
Died: Monday, June 02, 2003
MURRAY CITY - George Washington Irwin, 73, passed away on Monday, June 2, 2003.
Born Feb. 22, 1930, in Murray City, he was the son of the late George and Julia Irwin. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict, was a member of American Legion Post 420 in Murray City and retired from Teamsters Local 24.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Marjorie L.; children Jacquelynn Irwin, George (Debra) Irwin, Lee Ann (Mark) Goehler and Jeffery (Crystal) Irwin; grandchildren Stephen (Angie) Bellman, Bryan (Jennifer) Bellman, Amy (Dave Jacobs) Bellman, Denise (Mike) Young, Matthew and Nicole Irwin, Logan, Morganne and Lucas Goehler, Brittanie, Cody, Katelyn, Ian and Brandon Irwin; great-grandchildren, Marcia, Victoria and Hunter Bellman, Haleigh and Sophia Young; a sister, Ruth Price; brothers William, Raymond, Thomas, Dick, Gene and Jim Irwin; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers and four sisters.
Services will be held Friday, 10 a.m., at Cox Funeral Home, 222 Norton Ave., Barberton, with Cpt. David Irwin officiating. Military burial will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.

Skylar Ryan Willison
Died: Sunday, June 01, 2003
NELSONVILLE - Dawson Lee and Skylar Ryan Willison, infant twin sons of Jamie and James Willison II of Nelsonville, went to heaven a day apart. Dawson passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2003, and Skylar passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2003. They came too soon; their stay was too short.
In addition to their parents, they are survived by a sister, Iesha Nicole Willison of the home; maternal grandparents Charlotte Crothers and Larry Simonton Sr. of Nelsonville; paternal grandparents Shirley Willison of New Straitsville and Jim Willison of Corning; paternal great-grandmothers Hazel Lincoln of Lucasville and Wilda Willison of Corning; four uncles, two aunts, 10 first cousins, and several great-aunts, uncles and other cousins.
They were preceded in death by maternal great-grandparents Josephine and Lester Crothers, and Evelyn and Pete Simonton; paternal great-grandfather Warren Willison; and cousins George Howard Simonton, Jerry Lee Crothers and Joseph Anthony Borgheese.
A graveside service will be held Sunday, 2 p.m., at Carbon Hill Cemetery, with the Rev. Michael Thomas officiating.

LOGAN - Imogene Wallace, 76, of Logan, died Sunday, June 1, 2003, at her residence.
Born Jan. 17, 1927, in Starr, she was the daughter of the late Eliphalet and Laura McClurg Eggelston. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester E. Wallace.
Services will be Thursday, 1 p.m., at Cardaras Funeral Home, Logan. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.

LOGAN - Roy W. Bungard, 70, of Logan, died Sunday, June 1, 2003, in Lancaster.
Born Aug. 12, 1932, in Logan, he was the son of the late Walter “Bus” and Josephine Bungard.
He is survived by daughters Linda Keener and Sara Bungard; a son, Kenneth L. Bungard; and adopted daughters Kristal Coss and Kathy Weber.
Services will be Thursday, 1 p.m., at Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan. Burial will be in Fellowship Cemetery, Hocking County, with military rites by the Combined Veterans Organization of Hocking County.

CARBONDALE, Colo. - Mark Anthony Fabian of Carbondale, Colo., died May 24, 2003.
He was born April 24, 1953, in Uniontown, Pa., the son of John and Mary Kremposky Fabian. He was a coal miner in Ohio. He is survived by his wife, Kathy, and children Seth, Jake, Lisa and Lydia.
Services were held May 30 in Carbondale, Colo.

William R. Mullen
Died: Sunday, October 05, 2003
Age: 47
GLOUSTER - William R. “Moon” Mullen, 47, of Glouster, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 5, 2003, at his residence.
Born April 15, 1956, in Dayton, he was a transportation specialist for CSX Railroad. He was a member of Glouster Eagles 468 and an avid fisherman.
He is survived by his father, William Mullen of Perry County; his mother, Norma Adams North of Glouster; two daughters, Amanda Mullen of Chauncey and Rachel Mullen of Logan; a son, Michael Mullen of Amesville; three grandchildren; three brothers, Danny Mullen, Dave Mullen and Bobby Hammond, all of Glouster; and two sisters, Charlene (Mike) Clifford of Jacksonville and Brenda Richards of Cairo, N.Y.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Kessler.
Services will be held Wednesday, 2 p.m., at Morrison Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville, with John Wright officiating. At his request, he will be cremated following the service.
