William "Bill" C. Liston

Age: 84
William C. "Bill" Liston, 84, of Xenia, died Saturday (April 19, 2003) at Hospice of Dayton. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 32 years, Norma J. McKamey Heinz Liston of Xenia. They were married Sept. 4, 1970. His first wife, Orpha Wilson Swadener, preceded him in death.
Mr. Liston was born May 14, 1918, in Jeffersonville, son of the late Herman and Evelyn Pendall Liston. He retired from Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Motorpool in 1980 after 30 years of service. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. He volunteered for five years at the Golden Age Senior Citizen Center, and until recently drove for various car dealers in Xenia. He enjoyed bowling, working in his yard and spending time with his family. He was a member of the First Church of Christ in Xenia.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his ex-wife, Elaine Burba Liston; four children, Carolyn (Bill) Carroll of Fairborn, Richard (Betty) Liston of Xenia, Gerald (Victoria) Liston of Bellbrook and Robert (Becky) Liston of Cedarville; four stepchildren, Vicki (Larry) Hilderbrand of Xenia, Cindy (Dave) Fisher of Xenia, Debra (R.B.) Jones of Waynesville and Chris (Susan) Heinz of Xenia; 19 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and first wife, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Jim Lane.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Church of Christ, 441 Ledbetter Road, Xenia, the Rev. R. James "Pete" Creamer officiating, with burial in Woodland Cemetery, Xenia. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the church. The family requests memorials be given, in lieu of flowers, to First Church of Christ, 441 Ledbetter Road, Xenia, 45385; or Hospice of Dayton, P.O. Box 3509, Dayton, 45401-3509. Aletta B. Hanville
Died: Friday, April 18, 2003
Age: 81
Aletta B. Hanville, 81, of Wilmington, died 8:50 a.m. Friday (April 18, 2003) at Clinton Memorial Hospital, Wilmington. She was preceded in death by her husband, Scott Henry Hanville Jr. They were married Feb. 9, 1947.
Mrs. Hanville was born Feb. 22, 1922, in Grass Creek, Wyo., daughter of the late Bonnie Beatrice Troxel Bender Hootman and Phil Bender. She was a member of the Wilmington United Methodist Church. She had attended the University of Oklahoma.
She is survived by two sons, Scott Henry III (Gloria) Hanville of Troy, Ontario, and Jon Patrick (Merrie) Hanville of Columbus; a stepson, Breton (Mary) Hanville of Pacifica, Calif.; a daughter, Deborah (Daniel) Page of Wilmington; three brothers, Murlin (Betty) Bender of Fairfield Bay, Ark., Mark (Claudette) Bender of Pearland, Texas, and Richard (Rena) Bender of Hobbs, N.M.; a sister, Irma Lee Caldwell of Lovington, Texas; nine grandchildren, Marci (Michael) Tewksbury, Danel Ryan Page, Dosh Page, Eric Hanville, Zachary Hanville, Heather Hanville, Grace Hanville, Dustin Hanville and Jonathan Hanville; a great-grandchild, Lily Tewksbury; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday at the Wilmington United Methodist Church, 50 E. Locust St., Wilmington, the Rev. Dean Feldmeyer officiating. Robert E. Willoughby

Age: 62
Robert E. Willoughby, 62, of Sabina, died Thursday (April 17, 2002) at Greene Memorial Hospital in Xenia.
He was born Aug. 18, 1940, in Clay City, Ky., son of the late Henry Clay and Hazel Dunaway Willoughby. He was a former employee of American Builders in Jamestown, and was active in 4-H and FFA as an advisor in goat production.
He is survived by twin sons, Robert Fredrick (Samantha) Willoughby of Dayton and Rodney (Missie) Willoughby of Martinsville; three grandchildren, Dallas, Robert and Scott Willoughby; four sisters, Mary E. Booth of Winchester, Ky., Gracie (Bob) Booth of Xenia, Theresa (Ruey) Brewer of Miamisburg, and Leona Hallows of Beavercreek.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Edna Willoughby; and a brother, Henry Clay Willoughby Jr.
A service will be held 6 p.m. Sunday at LITTLETON FUNERAL HOME, 104 N. Jackson St., Sabina. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the time of the service Sunday. Another funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Monday at the Morris Creek FirstChurch of God in Staunton, Ky., with burial in the Morris Creek Cemetery. Visitation will
be held at the church Monday from noon until the time of the service.
Philip C. Nause

Age: 86
Philip C. Nause, 86, of Woodville, died Wednesday (April 16, 2003) at his residence. he is survived by his wife, Betty J. Gloyd Nause.
He was born Feb. 12, 1917, in Muenster, Texas, son of the late Charles and Mary Pressure Nause. He attained the rank of chief in the U.S. Navy, and was a Pearl Harbor survivor, having been on board the U.S.S. Dobbin.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Phyllis (Ken) Olson of Rosemont, Minn., Nancy Larson of Mt. Pleasant, Utah, and James (Pam) Nause of Williamsburg; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother; three sisters; and a grandson, Nicholas Nause.
Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Name Catholic Church in Blanchester, with the Rev. Mike Savino officiating, and burial in Woodville Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the TUFTS-SCHILDEMEYER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 120 W. Main St., Blanchester. Joan M. Camp

Joan M. Camp, 70, of Wilmington, died Tuesday (April 15, 2003) at the Wilmington Nursing and Rehabilitation Residence. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth E. Camp of Wilmington.
She was born Nov. 2, 1932, in Asbury Park, N.J., daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Elizabeth Vanbrunt Wilson. She was a member of St. Columbkille Catholic Church, where she had served as Eucharist minister, lector and rosary leader. She was an accomplished pianist. She graduated from Asbury Park High School in 1950, and attended Wilmington College.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, John Thomas (Mary Theresa) Camp of Wilmington; two stepgrandchildren, James (Michelle) Brannon of Sabina and Jerry Tackett of Wilmington; a foster daughter, Darlene (Michael) Osborne of Goshen; three foster grandchildren, Emily, Michael and Brittany Osborne of Goshen; six stepgreat-grandchildren, Taryn, Ciera, Zachary, Ian and Ara Brannon and Alex Tackett; two brothers-in-law, Dean Camp of Wilmington and James Dale Camp of Indiana; two sisters-in-law, Vicky Lambcke of Florida and Shirley Dawson of Middletown; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth "Mike" Camp, who died in 1979; and a sister-in-law, Roberta Walls.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at the FISHER-EDGINGTON FUNERAL HOME, 97 W. Locust St., Wilmington, the Rev. James M. Wedig officiating, with burial in Clinton County Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Columbkille Catholic Church. James J. Boldman

James J. Boldman, 64,
of Sabina, died Monday
(April 14, 2003) at Clinton Memorial Hospital. His wife, Joan Hay Boldman, survives. They were married on Dec. 17, 1966.
Mr. Boldman was born March 19, 1939, in Sabina, son of the late Estell T. and Helen Constiner Boldman. He retired as a truck driver for Sewell Express and Preston Trucking. Mr. Boldman graduated from Port William High School.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Boldman is survived by a daughter, Kristen (Dan) Shriver of Sugartree Ridge; a son, T.J. (Angie) Boldman of Washington Court House; and four grandchildren, Bethany Bricker, Stephany Shriver, Sean Michael Boldman and Alexander James Boldman.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Boldman was preceded in death by a son, Michael Boldman.
The funeral service will be conducted 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the LITTLETON FUNERAL HOME, 104 N. Jackson St. in Sabina, with interment in the Miami Cemetery, Corwin. Friends may call from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
