Martha Ann Robinson Farquhar

Age: 78
Martha Ann Robinson Farquhar, 78, of Greensboro, N.C., formerly of Wilmington, died Monday (Nov. 18, 2002). She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Carlton Farquhar, who died Nov. 16, 1992.
Mrs. Farquhar was born Sept. 1, 1924, in Wilmington, daughter of the late Clarence Job and Letha Gallimore Robinson. She was a member of the Wilmington Friends Meeting. She graduated from Withrow High School in Cincinnati and from Guilford College in Greensboro, N.C.
She is survived by a son, Thomas Miles Farquhar of Greensboro, N.C.; a daughter, Susan Pritchett of Alvin, Texas; two half sisters, Norma Buckingham of Ashville, N.C., and Mary Jackson of Fort Myers, Fla.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a half brother, Roger Peelle Robinson, and her stepmother, Ellen Peelle Robinson.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at REYNOLDS-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 327 N. South St., Wilmington, Larry Barker officiating, with burial in Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Clinton County, 61 E. Lt. Col. Charles Marion " Sonny " Knedler Jr.
Died: Sunday, November 17, 2002
Lt. Col. Charles Marion "Sonny" Knedler Jr., U.S. Army, retired, died Sunday (Nov. 17, 2002). He is survived by his wife, JoAnn Knedler.
He was the son of the late Charles Marion Sr. and Ruby Sims Knedler. He retired after 24 years service from the U.S. Army. Since June 1989, he has been employed at Teledyne-Brown Engineering. He was a member of Villars Chapel United Methodist Church, Clarksville.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Penny Renee Ewing of Huntsville, Ala.; a son, Gregory Charles Knedler of Auburn, Ala.; two sisters, Margie Edinger of Waynesville and Dorothy Sewell of Wilmington; and four grandchildren, Jonathan Ewing, Benjamin Ewing, Jessica Knedler and Abigail Knedler.
Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel at LAUGHLIN SERVICE FUNERAL HOME INC., 2320 Bob Wallace Ave., SW, Huntsville, Ala., the Rev. Ronnie Brewer officiating, with burial in Huntsville Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the United Way of Madison County.
hursell Stapleton
Died: Sunday, November 17, 2002
Age: 81
Hursell Stapleton, 81, of Sabina, died Sunday (Nov. 17, 2002) at Hillcrest Manor, Washington Court House. He is survived by his wife, Sadie Hurles Stapleton. They were married March 10, 1956.
Mr. Stapleton was born Feb. 24, 1921, in Sandy Hook, Ky., son of Mr. and Mrs. Silas Stapleton. He was retired from Mac Tools. He was a member of the Sabina Church of Christ in Christian Union.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Terry L. (Debbie) Stapleton of Lexington; three stepsons, Robert Nunley of Sabina, Ronald Nunley of Seattle, Wash., and Larry Nunley of Findlay; and a brother, Eddie Stapleton of Washington Court House.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Earl, and a sister, Bertha.
Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at LITTLETON FUNERAL HOME, 104 N. Jackson St., Sabina, with burial in Highlawn Memory Gardens. Brenda Kay Trivett

Age: 51
Brenda Kay Trivett, 51, of Blanchester, died Sunday (Nov. 17, 2002) at Bethesda North Hospital, Montgomery. She is survived by her husband, Tom Trivett of Blanchester.
Mrs. Trivett was born Jan. 14, 1951, in Reading, daughter of Daniel Courtney and Phyllis Wilburn.
She is survived by her foster father, Dennis Rich of Milford; four children, Brent Daniel of Middletown, Bradley Daniel of Loveland, Brooke Daniel of Tallahassee of Florida and BreAnn Daniel of Maryville, Tenn.; three brothers; three sisters; and a grandchild, Jenna Ruth Daniel.
She was preceded in death by her foster mother, Betty Rich, and two brothers.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at TUFTS SCHILDMEYER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 120 W. Main St., Blanchester, Dave Douglas officiating, with burial in Jefferson Township Cemetery, Westboro. Lola Voss, 84, of Wilmington, died 9:57 a.m. Monday (July 22, 2002) at Clinton Memorial Hospital, Wilmington. She was preceded in death by her husband, Otto A. Voss, who died Jan. 5, 1999.
Mrs. Voss was born Feb. 17, 1918, in Jellico, Tenn., daughter of the late Alvin and Laura Angel Wright. She was a member of the Blanchester Flower Club.
She is survived by a son, Otto A. Voss of Wilmington; a daughter, Carol (Jack) Jones of Baltimore, Md.; two brothers, Kenneth Wright of Cincinnati and William Wright of Cincinnati; two grandchildren, Lori Frailer of York, Pa., and Joseph Dobbs of Somerset, Ky.; two great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends survive.
Graveside services will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Clinton Memory Gardens, Lynn Gitzinger officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 5400 Dupont Circle, Suite J, Milford, 45150. Arrangements were under the direction of REYNOLDS-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 327 N.
