Lois A. (Jackson) Hutchins
Lois A. (Jackson) Hutchins, 69, of Delaware, died Saturday (April 3, 2004) at Grady Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Hutchins was a former member of Karl Road Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Theresa Bruner of Delaware; one son, John R. Jackson of New Market, Tenn.; grandchildren, Jason (Cortney) Bruner and Jordan Bruner; a brother, James Hurley of Columbus; one sister, Flo Loop of Wheelersburg; a stepbrother, Junior Farley of Kentucky; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles E. Hutchins and Robert L. Jackson.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at the Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home, Worthington Chapel, 515 N. High St. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Nancy May Pounds
Nancy May Pounds, 52, of Delaware, died Saturday (April 3, 2004) at the Intensive Care Unit of Grady Memorial Hospital.
She was born Aug. 2, 1951 in Point Pleasant, W.Va., to William V. and Lou Imojean Wamsley Huddleston. She had been a Delaware resident since 1969 and was a homemaker for her family.
She is survived by her mother, Jean Huddleston and friend Johnny Collins of Richwood; a son, Rob (Tara) Kunce of Delaware; four daughters, Kim (Wayne) Levings, Shelly Pounds and Charlie Blanton, all of Delaware, and Suzy (Frank) Hamilton of Pandora; 14 grandchildren; an aunt, Nadine Reynolds, of Delaware; two brothers, William (Mary) Huddleston of Florida and Tim (Chris) Huddleston of Delaware; former husband, Eddy Pounds; and boyfriend, Jim McCoy of Delaware.
Visiting hours will be from 10:30 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at Bennett Brown Rodman Funeral Home, 92 N. Sandusky St. Deacons Franklin Moore and Gerald Singleton will officiate at the 1 p.m. service. Interment will be in Fairview Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be made to any family member.

Margaret Jolliffe
Margaret Jolliffe, 93, of Friendship Village, Dublin, died Sunday night (Dec. 16, 2001) at her residence.
She was born April 17, 1908, in Goodland, Kan., to William A. and Dovie (Ulrich) Boys.
She was a 1931 graduate of Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kan., where she majored in general science and home economics. She had been a Delaware resident since 1944 and was a dietitian for Ohio Wesleyan University from 1944-1956. She was a member of William Street United Methodist Church, the Irvine Club, the book club and the Advance Club. Mrs. Jolliffe is survived by two sisters, Edith Boys of Overland Park, Kan., and Esther Dawson of Yuba City, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews. Her husband, Bill, whom she married in 1954, died in 1991. She also was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth, and a brother, George Boys.
Visiting hours will be Thursday from noon to 2 p.m. at Bennett Brown Rodman Funeral Home, Delaware, where funeral services will follow, with the Rev. Sharon Beattie officiating. Anne Parsons
Anne Parsons, 81, of Delaware, died Friday evening (Dec. 14, 2001) at Wintersong Village Nursing Facility.
She was born Sept. 21, 1920, in Delaware, to Robert and Genevia (Shelton) Parsons and had been a lifelong Delaware resident.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in the dining room of Wintersong Village Nursing Facility, 478 S. Sandusky St., with the Rev. Paul Randall officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Bennett Brown Rodman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Margaret Peirsol
Margaret Peirsol, 90, of Bellpoint, died Monday evening (Dec. 17, 2001) at Delaware Court Health Care Center.
She was born Jan. 20, 1911, in Delaware, to Benjamin “Van” and Alice (Fry) Peirsol.
An Ohio Wesleyan University graduate, she was a former math teacher at Bucyrus and Delaware Willis high schools. She retired from the United States Forestry Service. A lifelong resident of the Bellpoint community, she was a faithful, devoted choir member at Bellpoint United Brethren Church, now Bellpoint United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two nephews, Frank Peirsol and his fiancee, Kathleen Kullman of Columbus, and John Peirsol and his wife, Jan, of Delaware; a niece and her husband, Debbie and Steve Barger of Ostrander; a sister, Maxine Stair of Delaware; two great-nephews, Brock Peirsol and Nick Peirsol; three great-nieces, Corey Peirsol, Julie Barger, and Melissa Talley; two great-great-nieces, Jamie Talley and Allison Yates; dearest friends Katherine and Julia Morrissey; cousins Bob and Jean Piersol of Columbus; and a beloved great Dane companion, Sam. She was preceded in death by a brother, Frank, and a sister, Eloise Treadwell.
Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Bennett Brown Rodman Funeral Home, Delaware, where funeral services will be held Thursday at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Walter Tucker
Walter Emerson “Walt” Tucker, 71, of 60 Carriage Drive, died Sunday morning (Nov. 18, 2001) at Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus, after a 16-year battle with Parkinson’s Disease.
He was born Aug. 20, 1930, in Columbus, to Walter A. and Bernice (Miller) Tucker.
He was a graduate of Bexley High School and Ohio State University, with a business administration and economics degree. He was a Korean War U.S. Army veteran and a member of the Elks Lodge.
Mr. Tucker is survived by his wife, Donna Jean; a daughter and granddaughter, Karen Marie Dyches and Summer Lynne of Houston, Texas; a daughter and son-in-law, Amy Lee and Jim Kester of Raleigh, N.C.; a granddaughter, Alexis Catherine of Raleigh, N.C.; a mother-in-law, Violet Ebright of Delaware; a niece, Ann Hampton of Atlanta; a brother-in-law, Clark McFadden of Grand Prairie, Texas; and his mother of Bexley, who gave him great emotional strength. He was preceded in death by his father, and a sister, Janice McFadden.
Visiting hours were to be Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Robinson Funeral Home. There will be no funeral service.

George West
George J West, 84, formerly of 6546 Walnut Valley Drive, Galena, died Monday (Nov. 19, 2001) at Wintersong Village Nursing Facility.
He was born July 31, 1917, in Columbus, to Hortense (Wedemeyer) West and Ernest West.
After graduation from West High School, Columbus, he spent his working career at Pfeiffer Printing Co. as a commercial artist, printing designer and consultant.
Mr. West is survived by a daughter, Lynda Murray of Leesburg, Fla.; four grandchildren; a brother, David J West of New Jersey; and Dr. Denie Denniston, Columbus, a companion of many years. He was preceded in death by his wife, La Verne (Bourgoeis); a son, George Milton West; and three siblings, Irene Coffey, Wanda Pfeiffer and William J West.
Visiting hours will be Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. at Robinson Funeral Home. There will be no funeral service. Burial will be in Red Bank Cemetery, Genoa Township.

Margaret Feasel
Margaret G. Feasel, 88, of Sunbury, died Monday evening (March 18, 2002) at Wintersong Village Nursing Facility, Delaware.
She was born Feb. 24, 1914, in Berlin Township, to Septer and Edna (Scott) Girberd. She was a homemaker, 56-year member of Rural Chapel United Methodist Church, and a member of the United Methodist Women, Village Garden Club, Birdie Lackey Circle, Adella Friendship Class, Big Walnut Senior Citizens, Saturday Morning Breakfast Club, Berkshire Ladies Aid Society, Women’s Advance Club, the euchre club and Spinners.
Mrs. Feasel is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Gerald R. "Gary" and Erlene Girberd of Sunbury; four grandchildren, Scott and Carol Girberd and Sheri and Wade Woerner, all of Sunbury; six great-grandchildren, Lorrin, Mitchell, Lucas, Joseph, Mindy and Zac; two sisters-in-law, Thelma Wigton of Mount Gilead and Opal Davis of Columbus; and two nieces, Marilyn Breece and Bridget Homsher, both of Delaware.
Her husband, Harold B. Feasel, died June 12, 1987. She also was preceded in death by three brothers, Donald and Wilbur Girberd and Septer Girberd Jr., and two sisters, Nina Gaa and Lola Wood.
Visiting hours will be Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Sunbury, where funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m., with Pastor Russell Ham officiating.
Burial will follow in Berkshire Cemetery.

Marilyn “Jean” Hawkins
Marilyn “Jean” Hawkins, 71, formerly of Delaware, died Sunday morning (June 20, 2004) at her son’s residence in Richwood.
She was born April 5, 1933 in Delaware County to Fred Wolfe and Gladys (Heath) Wolfe. She was a bookkeeper for the American Cancer Society and a member of the Cornerstone Church of Christ in Christian Union in Plain City.
She is survived by a daughter, Victoria (Ken) Kelley of Flushing; a son, David (Jennifer) Hawkins of Richwood; two grandchildren, Dawson and Abagail Hawkins; brother, Fred Wolfe, of Riley, Kan.; and one sister, Ruth Wade of Delaware.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd, in 1995; and two sisters, Wiletta Mae Wolfe and Freda Anderson.
Visiting hours will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Rodman Bennett Brown Funeral Home, 92 N. Sandusky St., where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, with the Rev. Phil Conrad officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Real Life United Methodist Church in Flushing or to Loving Care Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the church.

Charles R. “Charlie” Sarver
Charles R. “Charlie” Sarver, 80, of Delaware, died Saturday (June 19, 2004) at home surrounded by his family.
He was born Nov. 25, 1923 in Peoria in Union County to the late Jacob H. and Mary (Opphile) Sarver. He was a 1942 graduate of Raymond High School. He was a US. Army veteran of World War II, participating in the European Theater. He worked as a supervisor for the Eljers Plumbing Co. in Marysville for 21 years and for Delo Screw in Delaware for 21 years. He was an active member of Delaware Bible Church and his faith was very important to him. He loved the Lord and enjoyed Bible study. He was a member of the Reed Miller V.F.W. Post No. 3297. His interests included flower gardening, bird watching, woodworking and making things for his grandchildren. He was proud of his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of almost 60 years, Edith (Feasel), whom he married Sept. 9, 1944; five daughters, Lois (Don) Armstrong of Encampment, Wyo., Carolyn (Bob) Corbin of Marysville, Beverly (Chuck) Johnson of Delaware, Sally (John) Reichelderfer of Mansfield, and Valeta (Dean) Goon of Marion; 12 grandchildren, Kim Lehnert, Tracey Stevenson, Michelle Suiter, Kevin Corbin, Kathy Burson, Charlene Johnson, Stephen Johnson, Lyndsey, Katlyn, and Olivia Reichelderfer, Hunter and Juliette Goon; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and two sisters, Winifred Sarver of Marysville and Leona Stanford of Toledo.
He was preceded in death by his grandson, Zachary Reichelderfer in 1997; three brothers, Jacob II, Frank and John Sarver; and seven sisters, Mildred Wood, Helen Clark, Elizabeth Sarver, Alice Mitchell, Mary Lockwood, Martha Donaugh and Florence Appleman.
Visiting hours will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, 75 W. William St. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Delaware Bible Church, 45 Belle Ave., with the Rev. Richard Van Gorden officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Memorial Park with military honors provided by the Delaware County Veterans Association.
Memorial contributions may be made to Delaware Bible Church.
