Marilyn A. Brough
Marilyn A. Brough, 77, of Worthington, died Saturday (Feb. 18, 2006) at Arlington Court Care Center.
She was born in Stow to the late Arthur Jacob and Marie Alta (Carpenter) Brust. She was a 1946 graduate of Stow High School. She married the late Richard C. Brough on June 24, 1949. A loving and devoted mother and grandmother, she always was a teacher at heart. She taught elementary school in Stow public schools and was a study hall monitor at Worthington High School for many years. Later, she became the church secretary at All Saints Lutheran Church, where she was a member. She also was an active member, both locally and statewide, of the Ohio Federation of Women’s Clubs, and was active in the League of Women Voters. She was a charter member and past-president of Delta Zeta sorority, Baldwin-Wallace College.
She is survived by her children, BethAnn (Joseph D’Andrea) Brough, of Shepherdstown, W.Va., Richard C. Brough of Worthingon and Donald P. (Karen) Brough of Powell; grandchildren, Ariel A. Brough and Olivia L. Brough, both of Powell; a brother, Richard Arthur (Josephine) Brust of Hagerstown, Md.; an aunt, Kathleen B. Moomaw of South Salem; and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert and Russell Brust.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Rutherford Funeral Home at Powell, 450 W. Olentangy St., Powell. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at All Saints Lutheran Church, 6770 N. High St., Worthington, with Pastor Bonnie Gerber officiating. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Columbus.

Stuart S. Hines
Stuart S. Hines, 76, of Cardington, died early Friday morning (Feb. 17, 2006) at his residence following an extended illness.
He was born April 9, 1929 in Orange Township to Edward and Myrtle McDonough Hines. He was a retired tow motor operator from PennWalt Chemical Co. He was a lifelong Central Ohio resident and he enjoyed boating and his family.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Dora Jean (Knauber); four sons, Stacey (Tressa) of Cardington, Carl (Yvonne), Randy (Stephanie), all of Ashley, Ricky of Marion; daughters, Raechel (Richard) Darst of Delaware, Roberta (Richard) Scheeler of Ashley, and Clara Buckman of Waverly, Ky.; 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Gladys Hines and Virginia Miller; and three brothers, Jack, Al and Fred, all of Delaware.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Richard, Earl, Edward and Raymond.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Westfield Community Church, 880 County Road 21, Ashley, where food and fellowship will follow the service. All are invited to stay.

Audrey A. ‘Sandy’ Bauman
Audrey A. “Sandy” Bauman, 82, of Delaware, died Saturday (Feb. 25, 2006) in Willow Brook Cherith Center after a long illness.
She was born Feb. 19, 1924 in Ledart, W.Va., to Fred and Oddra (Douglas) Rogers. She graduated from Willis High School. She enjoyed life ... changing the world one smile at a time. Her loving nature naturally attracted people. She touched many lives and all who knew her felt better for the experience. The wife of a career officer, she traveled and lived extensively throughout the world, seeing and experiencing the good and bad the world has to offer. She lived a life that few have had the opportunity to live. Her hobbies included painting, playing her organ, golf, bridge, cooking, gardening, square dancing, travel and making the world a better place.
She is survived by two sons, William R. (Candace) Bauman of Delaware and Roger L. Bauman of Ozark, Ala.; one daughter, Patricia J. Bauman of Kaneohe, Hawaii; five grandchildren, Dawn (David) Winters, Ray A. Bauman, Sandra J. Bauman and Mike A. Bauman, all of Delaware and Ricki L. Bauman of Phoenix; three great-grandchildren, Paul and Kelly Winters of Delaware and Dejah R. Bauman of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; two sisters, Phyllis (Bill) Adams of Delaware and Inez Camden of Point Pleasant, W.Va.; and two sisters-in-law, Betty Corbin of Delaware and Bertha Rogers of Florida.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Ray W. Bauman; and one daughter, Diana L. Cameron-Juth; her parents; and three brothers, Douglas, Rex and Lemuel Rogers.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Robinson Funeral Home, 32 W. Winter St., where a funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, with the Rev. Carl Schaefer officiating. Graveside service and interment will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Makenna Marie Cunningham
Makenna Marie Cunningham blessed the lives of her parents Brock and Maryann (Morrison) Cunningham of Delaware at her birth and passing on Sunday (Feb. 12, 2006).
She is the middle sibling of surviving triplets, Makayla Lou and Grant Alan Cunningham. She also is survived by maternal grandparents, Ray and Barbara Morrison of Zanesville; paternal grandparents, Gary and Gloria Cunningham of Marysville; maternal great-grandparents, Hubbard and Mary Louise Ford of Sebring and Ray and Ann Morrison of Canton; paternal great-grandmother, Leila Cunningham of Richwood; aunts; uncles; and cousins.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Claibourne Cemetery, near Richwood, with the Rev. Deborah Patterson officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, 75 W. William St.

Gordon Etter
Gordon Etter, 73, died Friday (Feb. 24, 2006).
He was born July 23, 1922 in Paulding County to Otto and Ethel Etter. A 1940 graduate of Grover Hill High School, he graduated with a degree in chemical engineering from Tri State University in 1943. He joined the U.S. Navy and served as an officer in World War II in the Pacific. On Oct. 10, 1946, he married Lillian Moore, a lovely school teacher from Nichols, New York. Together they raised six sons in St. Mary’s, Ohio. He was a Boy Scout master for more than 20 years and was actively involved in his sons’ education, athletics and music. He worked for the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company for more than 40 years, developing various new products. Gordon and Lillian retired to Mount Gilead to be closer to their sons and their families. He had a major stroke in 1992, but was able to recover and live at home over the next 13 years with the help of his loving family. He still enjoyed family and reunions. He had a full life serving his country, his community, but even more, serving his family and his God.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 60 years; six sons, Tom (Joan) of Grandview, Bob (Kim) of Westerville, Jon (Sharon) of Grandview, Ron (Rose) of Ashley, Roger (Evey) of Cardington, and Dana (Gloria) of Brighton, Mich.; 16 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Norma Howell of Lima, Barbara Doseck of New Knoxville, and Delores Schmehl of St. Mary’s.
Visiting hours will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Rodman Neeper Funeral Home, Bennett Brown Chapel, 92 N. Sandusky St., where a funeral service will be at 3 p.m., with the Delaware County Veterans Association providing military honors.

Rose Marie Gladman
Rose Marie Gladman, 75, of Delaware, died Saturday (Feb. 25, 2006) at her home.
She was born Oct. 20, 1930 in Cloverport, Ky., to Charles and Helen (Riedl) Ballman. She had resided in Delaware County since 1964. She was a homemaker and co-owner of Gladman Builders. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She was a member and past president of both Delaware County Senior Citizens and Olentangy Senior Citizens; a volunteer with the Blood Mobile of the Red Cross and was Red Cross Senior Hero of the Year 2005. She enjoyed painting, quilting, woodworking, ceramics and other crafts, and was a collector of antiques.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Richard; two daughters and a son-in-law, Connie Eisnaugle of Englewood, Fla., and Linda Gladman and George Ruark of Mount Vernon; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Richard Gladman of Cardington, Donald and Pam Gladman of Centerburg and Daniel and Patti Gladman of Delaware; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Doris Laughlin of Hebron and Mary Shively of Sunbury; two brothers, Charles Ballman of Hebron and Robert Ballman of Philo; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Ballman.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Robinson Funeral Home, 32 W. Winter St., with a prayer vigil from 4 to 7:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Mary Catholic Church, with the Rev. Kevin Kavanagh as celebrant. Interment will follow in Africa Cemetery.

Edna Fredericka Moore
Edna Fredericka Moore, 100, of Delaware and formerly of Parma, died Friday morning (Feb. 24, 2006) at the Arbors at Delaware.
She was born May 31, 1905 in Cleveland to Charles and Wilhelmina Felgenhauer. She was a homemaker and member of the Zion Church of Christ in Cleveland.
She is survived by a daughter, Eileen (Robert) Hurley of Delaware; two grandchildren, Maureen (Larry) Benson of Corning and Janet (Tom) Davis of Ostrander; three great-grandchildren, Colleen Benson and Andy and Jimmy Davis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Moore; one half sister, Gertrude Kotalic; and two half brothers, Walter and Louis Rindfleisch.
There will be no calling hours and private family services will be held at a later date.

Marlene J. Prewitt
Marlene J. Prewitt, 71, of Delaware, died Saturday morning (Feb. 25, 2006) at the Cherith at Willowbrook.
She was born July 27, 1934 in Ontario, Canada to Jack Brydges and Myrtle (Charboneau) Brydges. She was a homemaker and former secretary and had been a Delaware resident since 2001.
She is survived by a daughter, Cynthia (Mark) Veerman of Powell; two grandchildren, Brent and Melissa Veerman; and a cousin, Barbara Nourse of Lawrence, Mass.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Prewitt.
Visiting hours will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Rodman Neeper Funeral Home, Bennett Brown Chapel, 92 N. Sandusky St., Delaware, where a service will be held at 5:15 p.m. Private family graveside services will take place at a later date at Oak Grove Cemetery.
