Mary C. Elzey
Mary C. Elzey, 88, of Delaware died Monday evening June 1 at Delaware Court.
Born on Feb. 6, 1910 in Wapakoneta, Ohio to the late Jacob and Katherine M. (Hammond) Miller. She graduated from the Lucas County Hospital in 1932 as a registered surgical nurse. She worked at the Lucas County Hospital in Toledo. She moved to Delaware in 1936 and was a member of the Rural Chapel United Methodist Church.
She is survived by daughters: Mary Martin of Delaware, Patricia Elzey of Delaware, son and daughter-in-law: Guy and Sandy Elzey of Delaware, eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband: James Elzey in 1974, son: James Frederick Elzey in 1966, brothers: Guy Miller and Jack Miller, sister: Ada Miller.
Services for the family were at the Oak Grove Cemetery June 12. Calling hours were not be observed. Arrangements were in care of DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home in Delaware.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, or the Delaware chapter of the Central Ohio Diabetes Association.
Helen L. Emswiler
Helen L. Emswiler, 87, Westerville, died Sunday (April 8, 2001). She was born July 21, 1913 in Luray, Ohio and was a member of Etna United Methodist Church, Pataskala Senior Citizens, Sew and Blow and the Etna Grange.
She is survived by her three children, Mary Lee (John) Hall of Sunbury, Richard (Mary Lou) Emswiler of Gahanna and Glen (Beverly) Emswiler of Lincoln, Nebraska; four brothers and sisters, Ronald Eyman of Alexandria, Margaret Knepper of Pickerington, Kathleen Barrett of Reynoldsburg and Mary Watson of Pataskala; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Emswiler was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Emswiler; parents, Frank and Golda Eyman; and a brother, William Eyman.
Visitation was Tuesday (April 10, 2001) at Kauber-Miller Funeral Home, Pataskala where services were held Wednesday (April 11, 2001) with the Pastor Ray Kane officiating. Interment was in Pataskala Cemetery.

Margaret Evans
Margaret Evans, 88, Delaware, died Sunday, February 11, 2001 at her residence. She was born February 1, 1913 in Delaware to Hubert and Lena (Vaught) Rider.
Evans was a member of Stratford St. Paul's UMC, Sunbury Riding Club, Delaware Riding Club and worked the election polls for the Delaware County Board of Elections.
She is survived by a daughter, Marilyn (Carroll) Fogle of Plain City; two sons, Mel (Sue) Evans of Prospect and Dallas (Carol) Evans of Sunbury; one brother, Hurleigh Rider of Delaware; one sister, Dorothy Patrick; and four grandchildren.
Visitation was at Bennett Brown Rodman Funeral Home in Delaware. Funeral services were held with the Rev. George Reed officiating. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Emma Evarts
Emma Louise Mantor Evarts, 78, Sunbury, died Saturday (Dec. 4, 1999) at Morning View Care Center.
Mrs. Evarts, a loving wife of 60 years, was born May 23, 1921, near Galena to the late Harry and Goldie (Fuller) Mantor.
She was raised on the Nip and Tuck Farm, near Galena. At the age of 2, her mother passed away and she was cared for by Mrs. Davis until her father remarried in 1932. She attended and was baptized at Galena United Methodist Church.
A former member of the G&T Club and the Zoar Rebecca Lodge, she graduated from Galena High School in 1939, where she was a cheerleader for the basketball team.
She and her husband owned many properties throughout the county, including Grand Acres Standard Breed Horse Farm, Galena, where they made their home for 40 years. She had been employed at Mae Mahon's Restaurant, Kroger, the State of Ohio Department of Taxation, Elmhurst Rest Home and L&K Restaurant. She enjoyed fishing in the Hoover Reservoir and visiting friends.
Surviving are her husband, Paul; a son, Ronald; and other relatives, neighbors and friends.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, Edgar; and her stepmother, Myrtle Perfect.
Calling hours and funeral service were held at DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Sunbury with the Revs. Stacy Evans and L. Wayne Booth officiating. Burial was in Galena Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
Ronald Evarts
Ronald R. Evarts, 60, Sunbury, died Friday evening (October 11, 2002) at Grady Memorial Hospital, Delaware.
He was born on September 10, 1942, in Galena to Paul and the late Emma Louise (Mantor) Evarts. He was a machine operator for Alpha Industries, Delaware.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his cousins, Joanne and Marlene; and his friends.
Visitation was held at DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Sunbury, where services were held with Pastor Wayne Booth officiating.
Interment was in Galena Cemetery.

Jeffrey Falk
Jeffrey Alan Falk, 43, Gahanna, died Friday (March 9, 2001) at the Ohio State University Medical Center.
He was a medical records coder for the OSU Medical Center, a Boy Scout of America volunteer, and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Surviving are his wife, Sharman Linnabary; five children, Justin Linnabary and Jessica, Jordan, Jonathan and Jay Falk; his parents, June and Richard Warren of Columbus and Richard and Rosalee Falk of Galena; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Thomas and Pam Falk and Jason and Deanna Falk, all of Columbus; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Melody and Darryl Inscho of Kilbourne and Lindsay Falk of Galena; several nieces and nephews; special friend Dan Lucas; and many other friends.
Visitation was held at Moreland Funeral Home, Westerville, where services were held with the Rev. Bud Leskovac officiating. Interment was in Blendon Central Cemetery.

Clara V. Farley
Clara V. Farley, 89, Sunbury, died early Friday morning (September 14, 2001) at St. Ann's Hospital in Westerville.
She was born on July 8, 1912 in Lincoln County, West Virginia, to the late Robert and Minnie Bellany Jordan. A Sunbury resident since 1950, Farley was formerly employed at Kilgore Manufacturing, Townley-Main IGA and as a nursing assistant.
Clara enjoyed red birds and quilting.
She is survived by two daughters, Odella Smith of Sunbury and Bina (Robert) Boudinot of Greer, South Carolina; a son, Boyd Farley of Sunbury; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Milton Jordan of Sardinia, Ohio; and a sister, Dora Williams of Interlaken, Florida.
Farley was preceded in death by her husband, Oather Farley, in 1963; eight brothers, a sister, Addie Miller; and a half-sister, Wuaghaletta Young.
Visitation was Sunday (September 16, 2001) at DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Sunbury, where funeral services were held Monday (September 17, 2001) with Pastor Wayne Booth officiating. Interment was in Fairview Memorial Park, Delaware.

Shirley Faust
Shirley A. Faust, age 56 of Delaware, died on Friday (July 28, 2000) evening at Riverside Hospital.
She was born in Sunbury to the late Saul Bradley and Ruby (Sparkman) Bradley, who survives in Delaware. She was a registered nurse having worked at Community Medical Center in Marion.
She is survived by sons and daughter-in-law Harold Bradley of Cardington and Robert and Shirron Young of Delaware; daughters and son-in-law Pamela Young and Diane and Matt Dixon all of Cardington; six grandchildren; brothers Paul and Saul Jr. of Marion; sisters Saundra Winter of Marion, Lora Ruh of South Carolina and Julia Bradley of Delaware.
She was preceded in death by her brother Arzanas "Bob" Bradley and sisters Wilma Meek and Patricia Bradley.
Graveside funeral services were held at the South Webster Cemetery, South Webster. Arrangements were in care of the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Marengo.
Gary L. Feasel
Gary L. Feasel, 53, Sunbury, died unexpectedly Wednesday (March 29, 2000) at his home.
He was born May 20, 1946, in Sunbury to late Howard and Ethel M. (Johnson) Feasel.
He was a 1964 graduate of Big Walnut High School, a U.S. Army veteran and a retired janitor for the former Amana Plant, Delaware. He was a member of Condit Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed collecting antiques and glassware.
He is survived by seven brothers, Paul, Kilbourne, Lawarence, Delaware, Roger, Detroit, Mich., Leland, Marysville, Robert, Gahanna, Roland, West Virginia, and his twin brother, Terry, Sunbury; and three sisters, Edith Sarver, Delaware, Margery McGrady, Fredericktown, and Norma Jean Feasel, Delaware.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Harry L. Feasel Sr. in 1993, and Herman in 1989; and one sister, Pauline Young in 1998.
Calling hours were held at DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Sunbury. Funeral services were held at Condit Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Carol Weiss officiating. Interment with military honors followed at Trenton Cemetery.

Margaret Feasel
Margaret G. Feasel, 88, of Sunbury, died Monday evening (March 18, 2002) at Wintersong Village Nursing Facility, Delaware.
She was born in Berlin Township, Delaware County, to the late Septer and Edna (Scott) Girberd on February 24, 1914. She was a homemaker, 56-year member of Rural Chapel United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and Village Garden Club, Birdie Lackey Circle, Adella Friendship Class, Berkshire Ladies Aid Society, Women's Advance Club, Euchre Club and Spinner's.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold B. Feasel, on June 12, 1987; three brothers, Donald Girberd, Wilbur Girberd, and Septer Girberd Jr.; and two sisters, Nina Gaa and Lola Wood.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Gerald R. "Gary" and Erlene Girberd of Sunbury; two grandchildren and spouses, Scott and Carol Girberd of Sunbury and Sheri and Wade Woerner of Sunbury; six great-grandchildren, Lorrin, Mitchell, Lucas, Joseph, Mindy, and Zac; two sisters-in-law, Thelma Wigton of Mt. Gilead and Opal Davis of Columbus; and two nieces, Marilyn Breece and Bridget Homsher, both of Delaware.
Visitation will be held at DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Sunbury, where funeral services were held with Pastor Russell Ham officiating. Interment will follow in Berkshire Cemetery.
