Ralph Feasel
Ralph J. Feasel, 88, of Sunbury, died late Thursday evening (July 20, 2000) at St. Ann's Hospital, Westerville.
He was born on October, 17, 1911, in Sunbury to the late Perry and Mary (Smith) Feasel. He was a lifelong farmer and area resident. He was a member of the Delaware County Farm Bureau, a former member of the Harlem Township Grange, and a member of the Johnstown and Sunbury Eagles. He enjoyed attending the Delaware County Fair and the Little Brown Jug, as well as hunting and fishing.
He is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Toni of Colorado Springs, Colo., Donald and Carol of Canal Winchester, Ralph Jr. and Suzanne of Dublin, and John W. and Brenda of Lithopolis; six grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren; a sister, Elizabeth Fuller of Croton; and longtime friend Marjorie Garrabrant of New Albany.
He was preceded in death by his wife Helen in 1967; five brothers Clifton, Wayne, Emmett, Clarence and Dalton; and seven sisters Mazy, Francis, Ina, Mable, Eunice, Elsie and Mildred.
Visitation was held at DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Sunbury, where funeral services were held with the Rev. Maurice White officiating. Interment was at the Fancher Cemetery near Westerville.

Earl G. Feazel
Earl G. Feazel, 93, a lifelong resident of Delaware County, was called to be with the Lord on Wednesday (November 27, 2002) from his home in Galena.
He was born on August 3, 1909, to the late Rev. John and Clara Feazel. A 37-year member of Sunbury Grace Baptist Church, he retired as an electrician from Children's Hospital and also farmed for most of his life. He served as a Harlem Township trustee and township clerk, and enjoyed gardening and making cider from his apple orchard.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold and Darrol; a sister, Hazel Purcell; a son-in-law, Richard McElwee; and a granddaughter, Michelle Sowers.
Surviving are his wife of 66 years, Donna Clark Feazel; his children and their spouses, Carol McElwee, Kenneth Feazel, Wanda Feazel, Maxine and Ray Fling, and Earl and Judy Feazel; 17 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held at Moreland Funeral Home, Westerville, where services were held with Pastor Les Newell officiating.
Interment was in Fancher Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Carmel Hospice, 793 West State Street, Columbus, Ohio 43222.

Mary Feist
Mary Ann Feist, 67, Perrysburg, died Monday (June 28, 1999) in St. Luke's Hospital, Maumee.
She was born in Stony Ridge on March 25, 1932, to Orville and Dorothy (Schiermyer) Nollenberger. She married Richard G. Feist in Stony Ridge on May 3, 1952, and he survives.
Mrs. Feist was a homemaker and member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Stony Ridge.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Larry Facemyer, Sunbury; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a daughter, Cynthia Wechtel.
Calling hours were at Marsh Funeral Home, Luckey. Funeral services were at the funeral home. Interment was at Troy Township Cemetery, Luckey.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the church or one of the donor's choice.

Richard L. Fenton
Richard L. Fenton, 60, Galena, died Wednesday (January 16, 2002) after a courageous battle with cancer.
He retired from IBM/BankOne and was the owner and operator of Passages Marine Inc. A friend of Condit Presbyterian Church, he was a member of the Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret Fenton; three sons, Richard L. Fenton of Columbia, Missouri, E. Scott Taylor of Sunbury and Ronald L. Fenton of Sanford, North Carolina; two daughters, Leah Rond of Sunbury and DeAnn Mooney of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; grandsons Cameron Fenton and Aidan Rond; and granddaughters Mandi Hinton and Christian Fenton.
Mr. Fenton was respected and loved by the sailing community and friends near and far.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Gladys Fenton.
Visitation was held at Hill Funeral Home, Westerville and funeral services were held at Condit Presbyterian Church.

Edna Fiant
Edna E. Fiant, 86, Delaware, died Thursday afternoon (April 1, 1999) at Grady Memorial Hospital.
She was born Sept. 25, 1912, in Delaware Township, to John Richards and Margaret (Payner) Richards. She was a longtime Delaware resident.
Mrs. Fiant, a 1932 Delaware High School graduate, was a member of Zion United Church of Christ. She was was the office manager for Fiant Heating & Plumbing Co., which she and her husband operated since the early 1950s.
Surviving are two daughters and one son-in-law, L. Sue Jones and Marilyn and Robert Vernon, all of Delaware; a son, David Fiant, Saginaw, Mich.; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Her husband, Wesley, died in 1996. She also was preceded in death by four sisters and a brother.
Visiting hours were at Bennett Brown Rodman Funeral Home, where a funeral service was held with the Rev. Lynn Ramey and Dan Bill officiating. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the church, 51 W. Central Ave., Delaware, or the American Cancer Society, 253 E. Church St., Marion 43302-3807. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.

Keith Fields
Keith Fields, 78, Delaware, died Tuesday (April 11, 2000) at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.
He was born in LaRue on Nov. 30, 1921, to the late Samuel Wilton and Ethel (Ledley) Fields.
He was a member of Grace Brethern Church in Worthington and a graduate of Ohio State University with a bachelor's degree in agriculture. He taught for 25 years at Olentangy Schools before retiring in 1978. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and Reserves for 28, retired in 1981 at the rank of colonel. He served during World War II and the Korean War
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Helen J. (Root) Fields, whom he married on May 5, 1946; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Mark P., Delaware and Thomas Keith and Amy, Sunbury; a daughter, Susan Fields, Sunbury; three brothers and one sister-in-law, Paul and Dorothy, LaRue, Lawrence, LaRue, and Lester, Phoenix, Ariz.; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Damon Leffler.
Calling hours were held at DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Delaware. Funeral services were held with the Rev. Richard VanGorden officiating. Burial, with military graveside services, followed at Walnut Grove Cemetery, Worthington.
Memorial contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans, 65 S. Front St., Columbus 43215.

Allan G. Fisher
Allan G. Fisher, 93, Sunbury, died Thursday (Dec. 31, 1998) at his home.
He was born in Trenton Township on Sept. 12, 1905, to the late George and Lottie (Moessner) Fisher. He was a lifelong Sunbury resident and lifelong member of the Farm Bureau. He was a member of Little Walnut Grange and was a retired farmer and mechanical engineer with 22 years of experience at Ohio State University.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Merwin.
Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Helen (Rider) Fisher; three sons and two daughters-in-law, James R. and Elladine, Palm City, Fla., Ron and Susie, Johnstown, and Jeff of Sunbury; two daughters and sons-in-law, Margaret and Tom Maguire, Columbus, and Ruth Ann and Bob Brown, Tampa, Fla.; and 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation and funeral services were held at DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Sunbury, with the Rev. Carol Weiss officiating. Interment followed in Trenton Cemetery.

Emily Fisher
Emily "Jean" Fisher, 55, of Sunbury, passed away on Sunday (July 14, 2002) at Grady Memorial Hospital after a long, courageous battle with cancer.
She was born on October 30, 1946, in Delaware to the late Joseph and Naomi Ellen (Conant) Maggard. Mrs. Fisher was a member of the Valley View Friends Church, the Delaware Chapter of the Women of the Moose, and served as a volunteer for the American Cancer Society for over 15 years. She was also employed at PPG Industries for 20 years, where she made many good friends.
Mrs. Fisher is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Bradley Fisher of Sunbury; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Eric and Cindy Fisher of Delaware and Tony Fisher of Delaware; three brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Vicki Maggard of Delaware, and James and Barbara Maggard and Fred and Sharon Maggard, all of Las Vegas, Nev.; one sister, Irene Brokaw of Delaware; two grandchildren, Ryleigh Fisher and Shelby Salyer; three brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law, Keith and Marty Fisher, Jeff and Beth Fisher, and Wendell Fisher; plus many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant son, Terry Fisher.
Visitation was held at Bennett Brown Rodman Funeral Home, Delaware, where funeral services were held with Pastor Wallace White officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Grady or the American Cancer Society.

John D. Fisher
John D. Fisher, 81, of Delaware, died Sunday afternoon (Feb. 15, 1998) at Wintersong Nursing Village following a long illness.
He was born Feb. 16, 1916, in Mason County, W. Va., to the late David and Myrtle (Jordan) Fisher. He spent most of his life in the Delaware area.
He was a retired timber buyer for the Union Fork and Hoe Co., and as an electrivcian for the Lake Erie Electric Co. of Lorain.
He was a World War II Army veteran. He received a Purple Heart, the Combat Infantry Badge, three Bronze Stars, the EAME Campaign Ribbon, and the American Defense Ribbon. He was a life member of the Disabled Veterans, V.F.W. Post No. 3297, and AMVETS.
Mr. Fisher is survived by his wife of 56 years, Lola (Rodenfels) Fisher; brothers and sisters-in-law Mark and Edna Fisher of Sunbury, Paul and Jean Fisher of Mount Gilead; sisters and brothers-in-law Sylvia and Robert Hartsook of Galena, and Delphia and Bill Barr of Columbus; sisters-in-law Mary Ellen Fisher of Sunbury and Madaline Fisher of Statesville, N.C.; nephew Dan Corl of Centerburg and several other nieces and nephews; and special friends Tom and Donna Petrill of Delaware. He was preceded in death by four brothers.
There will be no calling hours or services. Following cremation, his ashes were bured in Cheshire Cemetery. Arrangements were care of the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Delaware.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Delaware County, 561 W. Central Ave., Delaware OH 43015.

Patsy Fitch
Patsy R. Helton Fitch, 51, of Delaware, died early Tuesday morning (July 25, 2000) at the Arbors of Delaware.
She was born on Jan. 29, 1949, in Tazewell, Va., to the late Joe R. and Rawsie B. (Price) Helton and moved to Delaware from Virginia in 1970. She formerly worked as a cook for Delaware Country Club. She attended Living Waters Church of God near Marysville, and loved cake decorating and crocheting.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph "Gene" Helton in 1991.
Surviving are her husband, Anthony Fitch, whom she married on July 19, 1997; a daughter and son-in-law, Beverly Christine and Brian Routt of Hilliard; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Julie Ann Helton of Cardington; three grandchildren; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Otis Leonard and Mildred Helton of Delaware and Henry "Denton" and Brenda Helton of Marysville.
Visitation was at DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Sunbury, where funeral services were held with the Rev. Jack Marcum officiating. Burial followed in Bloomfield Cemetery near Sparta.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Arthur James Cancer Hospital, c/o OSU, 2500 Kenny Rd., Columbus 43210-9983.
