Bobby N. Wenell
Bobby N. Wenell, infant son of Robert C. and Stephanie (Cole) Wenell of Centerburg, died unexpectedly on Saturday (Jan. 3, 1998) at Knox Community Hospital.
He was born in Columbus on Oct. 10, 1997.
In addition to his parents, survivors include his sister, Sarah; maternal grandparents, Anita and Fred Penhorwood of Galena and Stephen Cole of Perryville, Ark.; and his paternal grandparents, Robert M. and Ann Wenell of Centerburg and Susan Wenell of Columbus.
Services and interment were held for the family Monday at Galena Cemetery.
Memorial services were held at Sunbury Christian Community Church with the Rev. William D. Stephens officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Robert N. Wenell Memorial Fund, in care of the church.
Robert Wenell
Robert C. Wenell, 27, of Centerburg, died unexpectedly Monday evening (Oct. 26, 1998) following an automobile accident on County Road 201 in Morrow County.
He was born on Aug. 16, 1971, and was a member of the Delaware Hayes High School Class of 1989. He worked as a custom woodworker for Steve Heinland Contracting. Bob was a craftsman, musician, and member of Christian Community Church.
Surviving are his wife, Stephanie (Cole) Wenell, whom he married on Oct. 5, 1991; his daughter, Sarah, of the home; his parents, Susan (Foster) Wenell of Columbus and Robert M. and Ann Wenell of Centerburg; a brother, Seth Wenell of Columbus; a sister, Marissa Wenell of Columbus; and his in-laws, Anita and Fred Penhorwood of Galena and Steve Cole of Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by a son, Robert N. Wenell on Jan. 3, 1998.
Visitation was held at DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Sunbury, and was held prior to the funeral service at Christian Community Church, 7097 E. Ohio 37 (1/2 mile west of I-71), Sunbury. The Rev. William D. Stephens officiated. Interment was in Galena Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Robert C. Wenell memorial fund in care of his church.
Alexander Westerviller
Alexander Westerviller, premature infant son of Brian and Celeste Westerviller, died Monday (September 3, 2001) at St. Ann's Hospital.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Kevin; grandparents, aunts and uncles. His father was a former football player at Big Walnut.
A private family service and burial was held Thursday (September 6, 2001) at Resurrection Cemetery. Arrangements by Egan-Ryan Funeral Home, 403 East Broad Street, Columbus.
George J West
George J West, 84, formerly residing at 6546 Walnut Valley Drive, Galena, died Monday (November 19, 2001) at Wintersong Village in Delaware.
Following graduation from Columbus West High School, West spend his working career at Pfeiffer Printing Company as a commercial artist, printing designer and consultant.
He was the son of the late Hortense (Wedemeyer) and Ernest West.
Survivors include a daughter, Lynda Murray of Leesburg, Florida; four grandchildren; and a brother, David J. West of New Jersey; and a companion of many years, Dr. Denie Denniston of Columbus.
West was preceded in death by his wife, La Verne (Bourgoeis); a son, George Milton West; and by three siblings, Irene Coffey, Wanda Pfeiffer and William J West.
Calling hours were at Robinson Funeral Home in Delaware. There will be no services. Burial will be in Red Bank Cemetery.

Paul West
Paul A. "Tony" West, 70, of Mount Vernon and formerly of Columbus, passed away on Wednesday (June 26, 2002) at his home.
Paul worked at North American Rockwell for 20 years and retired from Columbus Southern Power after 20 years.
Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Dorothy; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Paul and Mary of Mount Vernon and Steve of Sunbury; two daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Ron D'Andrea of Columbus and Toni and Alan Moose of Columbus; a brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Marie West; four sisters and a brother-in-law, Betty Shephard, Phylis Stump, Janet Burns, and Cheryl and Larry Crowder; two brothers-in-law and spouses, Marvin and Pat Darby and Charles and Charlotte Darby; granddaughters and spouses, Michelle and John Kershner, Jodi and Bryon Woerner, Melissa and Ernie Clark, Nichole and Bill Crabtree, Amie D'Andrea, Mella and Jack Curtis, and Molly and Matt Calhoun; grandsons and spouses, Brian and Jessica West, David and Tracey Moose, and Todd D'Andrea; great-grandchildren, Jesse and Cody West, Jesse and Christopher Crabtree, Emerson and Gabe Woerner, Daniel and Kassidy Curtis, and Aidan Calhoun; his nieces and nephews; and a very special friend, Sister Mary Diehl.
Visitation was held at DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Sunbury, where funeral services were held with Pastor Roger Crego officiating. Interment was in Fairview Memorial Park.

Nathan Wheeler
Nathan Wheeler, 74, of Westerville, died on Thursday (Aug. 3, 2000) at Grant Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, following a short illness.
He was born in Blaine, Ky., on Sept. 5, 1925, to the late Thomas J. and Gracie (Green) Wheeler, and was formerly employed by Lennox Industries, Columbus. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Gaynelle Cordle Wheeler; two daughters, Joyce Ann Stowe of Columbus and Janet Sue Shivley of Hilliard; one son, James E. Wheeler of Westerville; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held at Young Funeral Home, Louisa, Ky., where funeral services were held with the Revs. Clarence Mathis and Greg Lewis. Military services were performed by VFW Post No. 6103 and American Legion Post No. 89. Burial was in Greenlawn Cemetery, Louisa, Ky.
Fred H. (Gus) White
Fred H. (Gus) White III, 50, Galena, died suddenly on Wednesday (August 21, 2002) at St. Ann's Hospital, Westerville.
Owner of Fred White and Son Excavating Company, he was a member of the Westerville Promenaders and Country Campers Square Dance Club.
He was preceded in death by his father, Fred H. White Jr.
Surviving are his wife, Anna; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Joe and Gary and Angie; a daughter and son-in-law, Windy and Tony; two step-daughters and spouses, Beth and Jason and Michelle and Chuck; seven grandchildren; his mother, Mary; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Sheila and Larry and Sharon and Linn; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held at Moreland Funeral Home, Westerville. Funeral services were held at Genoa Baptist Church with Pastor Wayne Booth officiating.
Interment was in Africa Cemetery.
Louise Johns White
Louise Johns White, 91, Westerville, died early Friday morning (June 21, 2002) at her home. Arrangements were in charge of DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Sunbury. Interment was in Sunset Cemetary.
Ruth Wickline
Ruth Wickline, 74, Centerburg, died at her home Tuesday (Jan. 11, 2000) following a short illness.
She was born Sept. 11, 1925, in Madison Mills, to the late Jacob and Ada Rowland.
She was a member of Centerburg United Methodist Church, Friendship Circle, Tri-County Craft Club and Inner Church Centerburg. She worked as a loving nurse's aid for 35 years at Shady Lane Manor. She was a loving and caring person to all who knew her.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and James Potts, Galena, and Diana and Bob Kemmer, Chesterville; three sons and daughters-in-law, Jake and Mary Wickline, Centerburg, Allen "Newt" and Teresa Wickline, Lewis Center, and Jeff and Lori Wickline, Ashley; and nine grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Lester Wickline, who died in 1982; seven brothers; and three sisters.
Calling hours were at DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Sunbury. Funeral services were held with the Rev. Jack Clouston officiating. Interment was at Sunbury Memorial Park.

Laura C. Wigton
Laura C. Wigton, 88, Sunbury, died at Manor Care on Saturday (July 28, 2001) morning.
She was born in Darke County (Ohio) on December 27, 1912 to the late Charles E. and Anna Elnore (Eck) Neal.
Wigton is survived by her three daughters, Carol Grigsby of Columbus, Donna (Carmine) Layton-Tarquinio of New Albany and Barbara Conkle of Sunbury, and by six grandchildren,
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Alton Wigton, who died in January of 1988. They were married in November of 1949. Also preceding her in death were five brothers and six sisters.
Memorial services were held at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home in Sunbury with Pastor Brian Smith officiating.
