Bonnie L. Carson. Visitation will be Monday (today) 5-8 p.m. in the Karlo Sons Funeral Home. Services will be Tuesday, July 30, at 11 a.m. with Br. David Lombardi officiating. Irene S. Lauro
Irene S. Lauro, age 83, of North Canton, died Thursday, July 25, 2002 at Aultman Hospital. She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, North Canton and had been a resident of Sterling Heights, MI from 1978-1997 during which time she was a medical records clerk at Holy Cross Hospital in Detroit. Survived by her sons, John S. Lauro and Richard G. Stalko, both of North Canton; granddaughter, Bridgette Rockwell of Michigan and daughter-in-law, Vicki Lauro of North Canton. Preceded in death by her parents, Stephen and Stella (Skrobot) Bielski; brother, Zigmund Bielski. A Memorial Mass will be held Tuesday, July 30, 2002 at 12 Noon in St. Paul's Catholic Church with Fr. Joseph Rudjak officiating. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Stark County MRDD, Whippledale Center, 2950 Whipple Ave. NW, Canton, OH 44708. Judith Duplain. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Zion Lutheran Church of Canton with Pastor Kenneth Scheck II officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Calling hours at the Reed Funeral Home Monday (tonight) 6-9 p.m. and one hour before services at the church on Tuesday 10-11 a.m.
Larry T. Neff
Larry T. Neff, age 44, of Hartville, loving husband, father, son and brother, passed away Friday, July 26, 2002 in Mercy Medical Center following a sudden illness. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Louis Catholic Church with Msgr. Ken Miller officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call Monday (tonight) 5-8 p.m. at the Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home in Louisville. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
Lawrence Bricker
Lawrence 'Clete' Bricker, age 70, of Lake Cable, passed away Friday, July 27, 2002. He was born January 12, 1932 and raised in North Canton. He graduated from North Canton High School in 1951 and served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. He retired from Davey Tree after 32 1/2 years and was a member of the Greentown Church of the Nazarene and the Lake Cable Association. Clete was an avid hunter and fisherman who spent the last twelve years traveling with the RV. He was also a member of the Game Reserve Association. Preceded in death by his parents, Marie and Ralph Bricker. Survived by his wife of 30 years, Hazel (Humphrey) Bricker; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jean and Larry Suarez and Dorene and Ralph Shultz all of Canton; brothers and sisters-in-law, Paul and Marge Bricker of Norwich, OH and Bob and Joan Bricker of Tempe, Arizona; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2002 in the Karlo-Feucht Funeral Home, 5000 Everhard Rd. NW with Rev. Edwin A. Spangler officiating. Burial in North Canton Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday 6-9 p.m. and 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Michael J. Green
Michael James Green, age 24, formerly of Canton and more recently residing in Dellroy, OH, passed away Friday afternoon in Aultman Hospital. born in Canton, Sept. 2, 1977, he had attended Timken High School. Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Darlene and Michael Eidson of Michigan; four brothers, Shawn Green and wife, Jodi of Dellroy, OH, Lester Deem of Dellroy, David Deem of Canton and Christopher Green of Dellroy; his sister, Trista Deem of Canton; grandparents, Cyndora Green and Herman Green, both of Canton; one nephew; 18 cousins; four aunts; four uncles; numerous other family members and a host of friends. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Reed Funeral Home with Mr. Donald George officiating. Burial will be in Westview Cemetery in Carrollton, OH. Robert E. Gellenbeck
Robert E. Gellenbeck, age 82, a life resident of Canton, died Saturday in his home after a sudden illness. He was the retired Credit Manager for the former Hercules Engines. He was a World War II Army veteran and was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church. Survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Donna Gellenbeck of Lakeview, AR; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, George and Ethel Martin of Goshen, NY and Daniel and Patricia Gellenbeck of Glendale, AZ; two step sisters, Evelyn Reeve and her husband, William of Canton, Martha Higgins of New Kensington, PA. Preceded in death by his father, Edwin Gellenbeck; his mother, Marie Gellenbeck Woods; his stepfather, William Woods; stepbrother, Carl Woods. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in All Saints Catholic Church with Msgr. Lewis F. Gaetano as celebrant. Burial in St. Peter's Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in the Lamiell Funeral Home. There will be a vigil service Tuesday at 1:45 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Peter's Catholic Church.
William R. Snyder
William R. Snyder, age 82, of Canton, died Saturday at Doctors Hospital following an extended illness. Born April 1, 1920 in Canton to the late Raymond W. and Bertha J. (Siegenthaler) Snyder. He was a life resident of the Canton area and a graduate of McKinley High School. Retired from Republic Steel in 1975 after 36 plus years of service. Member of Fraternal Order of Eagles McKinley Aerie #2370, where he was a charter member of the Golf League and he was an avid bowler. Preceded in death by a brother, Glenn Snyder; sister, Theda Noggle. Survived by wife, Loretta M. (Clark) to whom he was married 59 years; son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Bonnie Snyder of Canton; daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and David Young of Canton; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Evelyn Snyder of Canton; several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. in Forest Hill Cemetery with Pastor Dennis McDonald officiating. Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave. in charge of arrangements.
