Alice A. Turnbull. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Chapel at the Canton Baptist Temple with Dr. Harold Henniger officiating. Burial will be in the West Lawn Cemetery. Calling hours at the Reed Funeral Home Monday (tonight) 7-9 p.m. and one hour before the services at the church on Tuesday from 10-11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canton Baptist Temple or the Diabetes Foundation.

Andrew Andrica Stoia
Andrew Andrica Stoia, age 94, formerly of Canton, died Tuesday, following a brief illness in Bayonet Point, FL., where he had lived since 1978. Born in Romania, Mr. Stoia came to Canton as a small child. He was employed at Republic Steel for a few years and then was owner/operator of many small businesses. In addition to his parents, Mary and Gregory Andrica, Andrew was preceded in death by wife, Florence N. Stoia, March 30, 1992; step-father, George Stoia; two brothers, John Andrica and Tom Anderson; and sister, Mary Macki; and son-in-law, David Kessler who died in 1993. Survivors include four sisters, Nora Gonzalez, Aurelia (John) Plaver, Kay Moga and Ann Stragan; two daughters and son-in-law, Mrs. Ann Kessler of Rossford, OH., and Mrs. Richard (Florence) Luke of North Canton, OH; seven grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 17, 2002, at 11 a.m. in the Spiker-Foster-SHRIVER Funeral Home, 4817 Cleveland Ave. N.W., with Rev. Joseph Rudjak of St. Paul Catholic Church of North Canton officiating. Interment will be in North Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service (10-11:00 a.m.). In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 16, 2002 at the James S. Thomas United Methodist Church, 3412 Harmont Ave. NE, 330-455-0769, with Pastor W. Maurice King officiating. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Condolences may be sent to 1323 12th St. NW, Apt. #1, Canton, OH 44703, 330-452-5206.

E.J. Plott. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the Reed Funeral Home with Bro. Dave Lombardi officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Calling hours at the funeral home on Monday evening 6-9 p.m.

Francis J. Hinkel
Francis J. Fritz Hinkel. Funeral services will be conducted Monday (today) at 8 p.m. in the Reed Funeral Home with Rev. Raymond Tucker officiating. There will be calling hours prior to services on Monday 6-8 p.m. His wishes were to be cremated following the services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Community Dialysis Center in Canton.

Gayton R. Meola
Gayton Gates R. Meola.. Friends may call MONDAY (tonight) 6-9 p.m. in the Rossi Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be sung on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Paul Catholic Church of Canton with Rev. Fr. Nicholas Mancini as celebrant. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Joseph Habrun 'Farmer Joe'
Joseph Habrun, 'Farmer Joe', age 81, of East Sparta, died Sunday morning in his home after an extended illness. Born July 7, 1920, to the late John and Agnes Habrun. A life resident of East Sparta, retiring from the Timken Company in 1979 after 39 years of service, but his primary occupation was, Farmer. A lifelong member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and a faithful Canton South basketball supporter. He served in the Army Air Force overseas, during World War II. He is also preceded in death by his sisters, Mary, Helen and Pauline. Survived by his wife, Louise (Hager) Habrun; three children and their spouses, Wayne Habrun of East Sparta, Sandy and Bruce Becker of East Sparta, Larry and Rose Habrun of Millersburg; five grandchildren: Nick, Alissa, Lauren, Scarlett and Mariel; close friend and Assistant Farm Manager, Scott Rohig, of Canton; two brothers, Frank and John Habrun; three sisters, Margaret Baringer, Agnes Myer and Eileen Herbert; numerous nieces and nephews and many close friends. Friends may call Tuesday 2:30-4:30 and 7-9 p.m. in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. Funeral service will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. with Pastor Duane Galbriath and Fr. Gerald Sommer M.S.C. officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. There will be a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary's in Canton at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: St. Mary's Catholic Church, 1602 Market Ave. S., Canton, OH 44707 or Aultman Hospice Program, 4510 Dressler Rd. N.W., Canton, OH 44718.

Keith A. Fohl
Keith A. Fohl, age 47, of Canton, Ohio, passed away Saturday evening at the home following an extended illness. Born in Canton on October 23, 1954, he was a former employee of EMC Service Co. He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Lillian Fohl. Survivors include his brother, Edward Fohl of Canton; and his aunt, Thelma Fohl of Canton. Memorial services will be conducted Wednesday at 3 p.m. in the Reed Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour before services on Wednesday from 2-3 p.m. His wishes were to be cremated and his cremains will be buried in the Union Cemetery in Navarre.

Melvin E. Patterson
Melvin Edward Patterson. Services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Tuesday in the Reed Funeral Home with Salvation Army Capt. James Betts officiating. Calling hours will be from 6 p.m. to the time of services. Melvin will be cremated following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions, payable to the Reed Funeral Home, to assist with funeral expenses.

Robert C. Brown
Robert C. Brown, age 79, of Louisville, died Saturday at his residence following a six month illness. Born in Randolph, to Walter and Clara (Burkey) Brown, he had lived in Alliance before residing the past 20 years in Louisville. He retired from Transue Williams with 34 years service and has worked the past 15 years at Giant Eagle in Louisville. A World War II Army veteran he belonged to V.F.W. Post 1036 in Alliance, enjoyed gardening and square dancing. He was a member of First Friends Church in Canton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Bill Brown, Lawrence Murphy, Pat Murphy, and Jim Murphy. He is survived by his wife, Shirley A. (Kooser) Brown; daughters, Dewilda F. Roy of Baltimore, MD., Clara M. Barthold and Linda A. Scelza of Phoenix, AZ; step-sons, James R. Collins of Massillon, Blair W. Collins of East Sparta, and Robert A. Collins of Columbus; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Don Brown and Dick Brown of Alliance, Ed Brown of Lady Lake, FL., and Sam Murphy of Port Ritchey, FL; sisters, Rose Bichsel of Schaumberg, IL., Betty Turk of Ocean City, MD., and Mary Lou Brown of Covine, CA. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 11 a.m. at Walton - Schrader Funeral Home in Alliance. Calling hours Tuesday 6-8 p.m. and one hour before the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park.

Thomas (Pat) Moran
Thomas (Pat) Moran, a very special person, passed away at the age of 50, on April 14, 2002, after a brief illness. Pat was born in Canton, OH., on August 4, 1951, to Thelma (Georgia) Moss Moran and Kenneth B. Moran. He attended Gibbs Grade School for a time. For the past several years, Pat resided at Hartville Meadows, a group home for the mentally retarded and the developmentally disabled. At Hartville Meadows, Pat was the President of the Residents Association. Pat worked for a number of years at the West Stark Sheltered Workshop. He was an avid wheel chair bowler and won many Gold, Silver and Bronze metals in Special Olympics local and statewide competitions. He also was a collector of memorabilia. Pat had an outgoing personality and was popular in the community. He was much beloved by his family and Buddies at Hartville Meadows. He will be missed. Pat is survived by his father, Kenneth B. Moran of Canton, OH; his sisters, Gail R. Moran of Oak Park, IL., and Kathy Moran of Atlanta, GA; cousins, the Richardson and Ellenger families of Canton, OH., and the Moss family of Hiawassee, GA. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. in Hartville Church of the Brethren in Hartville, OH. A Wake will be held at Hartville Meadows, following the memorial service. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations and other contributions may be made to Hartville Meadows, 844 Sunnyside St., Hartville, OH 44632.

Wesley Bryant Clark
Wesley Bryant Clark. Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. in Stow City Cemetery, Stow, OH with Rev. Ray Tucker officiating. Burial to follow. Calling hours Tuesday 5-8 p.m. in the Reed Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Perry Twp. Lion's Club or the Stark County Humane Society.

Ann H. Presutti
Ann H. (Pezel) Presutti, age 71, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away following a lengthy illness Saturday, April 13, 2002 at Mercy Medical Center. Born in Canton, OH., June 19, 1930, the daughter to the late Steve and Mary (Milkovich) Pezel; and also was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Presutti, to whom she was married for 41 years; one brother, William Pezel. She is survived by six sons and daughters-in-law, Anthony and Diana Presutti of Canton, Steve Presutti of Canton, Gary and Sherrie Presutti of Deerfield, OH., James Presutti of Massillon, Paul Presutti of Canton and Michael Presutti of Canton; two daughters and sons-in-law, Elsie and Ronald Wagner of Perry Twp., Debra and Richard Nelson of Canton; 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; one sister, Rose Hoskinson of Canton; also survived by several brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law; numerous nieces and nephews. She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church in Canton, where the Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Nicholas Mancini as Celebrant. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. in the Rossi Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations would greatly be appreciated to the family.

Hazel Snowden
Hazel Snowden, age 55, passed away at Mercy Medical Center. She was born in Canton and had lived in this community all of her life. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lucille. Survived by sons, Ryan (Stephanie) Rorie of Massillon, Desmond Rorie and Charles D. Snowden, both of Canton; brother, John (Anna) Blackburn of Canton; sisters, Eunice (Eugene) Boylcins, Linda Matthews and Dwan Winston, all of Canton; 20 grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 17, 2002 at the Rhoden Memorial Chapel, with Mr. Roy Wooten officiating. Interment North Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday 11 a.m. until time of service. Condolences may be sent to and family and friends will be received at 2922 Rim Circle NE, Canton, OH 44705. Repass will also be held at the Northeast Community Center on 25th St. NE.
