Daniel Adams. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, February 23, 2002 at 11 a.m. in the Reed Funeral Home with Fr. Joseph Ruggieri officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Calling hours at the Reed Funeral Home Friday (tonight) 6-9 p.m.

Darlene R. Duck
Darlene R. Duck, age 56, of Canton, passed away Thursday, Feb. 14, 2002 in her residence. Born in Uniontown, PA. She was a member of Trinity Gospel Church and a volunteer at Timken Mercy Medical Center. Preceded in death by her husband, Matthew Moore; parents, Raymond and Ruth Duck; stepmother, Dorothy Duck. Survived by one son; three brothers and a sister-in-law, Raymond and Margaret Duck, Jr., Christopher Duck, all of Canton, Thomas Jackson of Columbus; four sisters, Octavis Duck, Theresa Duck, Carmaine Duck, Ruth Hill, all of Canton; stepfather, Roosevelt Jackson of Canton. Private funeral services will be held. There will be no calling hours. Donations may be made to the Arthritis Foundation.

Ethel M. Villard
Ethel M. Villard, 95, formerly of Massillon, died Thursday in Stow, OH. She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil (1970). She was a member of Grace United Church of Christ, Massillon and in later years had attended Canton Baptist Temple where she was active with the Jolly Sixties group. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, 11:00 a.m. at the Atkinson-Feucht-Shaidnagle Funeral Home, Massillon. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service. Burial will follow at Massillon Cemetery.

George P. Glekler
George P. Glekler, age 88, of Sebring, died Wed., Feb. 20, 2002. He was born Oct. 8, 1913 in New Castle, PA. Retired employee of Sebring Water Works for 39 years as a Chief Operator, also former employee of the CCC (Civilian Conservation Corp.) and B W Keystone Plant during World War II. Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ruby E. (Dillon) Glekler on June 26, 2001; son, George J. on Dec., 1998; infant sister, Rose; sister, Anna Hole. Survived by daughters, Karen King of Alliance, Kay Rine of Leland, NC; sister, Mary Boltres of Louisville; brothers, John Glecker of Beloit, Fred Glekler of Canton; 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren. Services Saturday at 1 p.m. at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home in Sebring. Interment in Highland Memorial Park. Visitation Saturday 11 a.m.- 1 p.m.

John H. Sweeney
John Howard Sweeney, age 89, of Canton, OH, passed away February 20th at the Regents Park in Winter Park, FL. Born in Johnstown, PA, on October 7,1912 to his parents the late, Thomas and Lillian (Frantz) Sweeney. John was a retired employee of Canton Drop Forge, retiring in 1975 after 31 years of service. He was a long time member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Canton. John was preceded in death by his wife, Helen R. Sweeney in 1995. He moved to Florida in 1996 to live with his daughter, Linda and son-in-law, Phil Roach. Mr. Sweeney, well known as a good natured Irishman, was also an accomplished wood craftsman. Since moving to Florida, Mr. Sweeney traveled and enjoyed being with family. Survivors include his daughter, Linda and son-in-law, Dr. J. Phillip Roach; granddaughters, Jennifer Offenberger of Marietta, OH and Alison Roach of Asheville, NC; grandson, John Michael Roach of Greensboro, NC; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 10 a.m. in the Reed Funeral Home with Msgr. Frank Carfagna officiating. Burial will be in the Mausoleum at North Lawn Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home on Sunday 7-9 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Habitat for Humanity.

John J. Vellucci
John J. Vellucci. Funeral services Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Welch-Sekeres-Lewis Funeral Home. Calling hours Friday (tonight) 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Kay Kovesci
Kay Kovesci, loving wife, mother and grandmother, age 67, of North Canton, died unexpectedly Wednesday afternoon in Aultman Hospital. Born November 16, 1934, in Canton. She was a Lady Elk with North Canton Elks Lodge #2029; and was an avid McKinley Football fan. She was former employee of the Timken Co., the U.S. Census Bureau, and was retired from the United States Post office with over 25 years of service. She was a very selfless person what would do anything for her family, always putting others before herself. She was the peace keeper of her extended family. Kay was a lover of animals and showed horses for many years. Preceded in death by her father, Donald Keefer; and one brother, James Keefer. Survivors include her husband, Louis of the home; two daughters and son-in-law, Kathy Lilley, Karen and Nicholas Stock all of North Canton, there are three grandchildren, Trisha Parker, Justin and Kaitlin Stock. She was the devoted daughter of Verna Keefer of North; the sister of Jon Keefer of Canton; and the aunt to several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Reed Funeral Home. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Calling hours in the funeral home Friday (TONIGHT) 5-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society of Stark County.

Marie E. Bourne
Marie E. Bourne age 60, of Mogadore, passed away February 20, 2002. Born in Canton, Mrs. Bourne lived in the Mogadore area for the past 16 years. She was a member of Mogadore Methodist Church and she enjoyed square dancing. Preceded in death by her father, Nick; step-father, Ray Kelly; uncle, Don Schindler. She is survived by fiancee, George Jenkins; son, Todd Bourne of Mantua; daughter, Wendy Bourne of Canton; grandchildren, Nicole and Kari Smith, Jeromy Reik; mother, Cora Kelly of Massillon; brother, Howard Young of Hopedale; sisters, Rita McAtee of Canton and Helen (Bobby) Wright of Massillon. Funeral service are Saturday 1 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver MOGADORE Funeral home, 34 S. Cleveland Ave. (Rt. 532) with Rev. Elizabeth Spiker officiating. Burial at Greenwood Cemetery in Mogadore. Friends may call Friday, 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to service time on Saturday.

Marjorie J. Ford
Marjorie J. Ford, age 76, of Minerva died Wed. evening in Aultman Hospital following a long illness. She was born May 26, 1925 in Minerva to Caleb Frona (Morehead) Stoller. She retired from TRW in Minerva where she was an assembler. She is a member of the Minerva First Christian Church, the Ladies Aux of the Eagles Aerie #2199, and the Ladies Aux. of the VFW Post #4120 in Minerva. She is survived by a son, Michael Ford of Florida; granddaughter; Joelle Lab of Minerva; three great-grandchildren; two nephews and two nieces, Charles and Pam Stoller of Minerva, Judy and Gary Lautzenheiser of Minerva, Ray and Sandy Griffith of Lansing, MI, Randy and Robin Maurer of Charlevoiex, MI. She is preceded three sisters, Kate Stoller, Rose Maurer, Evelyn Amon, a brother, Karl Bud Stoller. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Mr. Ralph Norman officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be Sat. one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

Paul A. Manzella
Paul A. Manzella. Services are being arranged for Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Rossi Funeral Home with Rev. David Atkinson officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to services on Saturday, 10-11 a.m. His wishes were to be cremated. Inurnment will be in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions may be made in his memory to the Golden Retriever Rescue C/O, Ralph Nickes, 2215 S. St Rt. 257, Ostrander, OH. 43061.

Theresa Bitzel
Theresa Bitzel. Services will be conducted Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia. Friends may call Friday 6-8 p.m.

William Feigenbaum
William Bill Feigenbaum, devoted father of Marci (Paul Serumgard) Curtis, Michael (Maria), Sarah (Jay) Hans and Ben, dear brother of Florence (Leonard) Shorr and Martin deceased (Carole), cherished uncle, devoted partner of Elizibeth Fodor. Services will be held at Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel, 1985 S. Taylor Rd., Cleveland, Hts., Friday, February 22 at 11 a.m. Interment Zion Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the Goodman residence, 38700 Berkley Ln, Moreland Hills through Friday evening. Contributions are suggested to the American Lung Association or the American Cancer Society.
