Ashley Lynn Reith, infant daughter of Leonard and Sherry (Law) Reith, passed away Saturday, November 24, 2001 in Aultman Hospital. Beside her parents, survivors include her grandparents, Virginia Reith of Canton, David and Judy Law of Canton; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Graveside services will be conducted Friday at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of Forest Hill Cemetery with Rev. Raymond Tucker officiating.
Daniel T. Cseak III
Daniel T. Cseak III, age 76, passed away Monday evening at Aultman Hospital after an extended illness. He was a life resident of Canton. He was retired from the Nickles Bakery, having been employed for 45 years in sales and management. Member of St. George Byzantine Catholic Cathedral, a veteran of World War II, having served in the Army, where he was in the Battle of the Bulge having received the Silver Star. He was a member of the Columbus American Legion Post #0888, Ex-Newsboys and CYC. His parents were the late Daniel T. II and Dorthea Cseak. He was preceded in death by his brother, Marvin Cseak. He is survived by his wife, Natalie (Rotar) Cseak, with whom he celebrated 59 years of marriage Nov. 24, 2001; one son and daughter-in-law, Daniel T. IV and Delta Cseak of Canton; two daughters and sons-in-law, Natalie and Ron Rauschenback of Idaho and Carrie and Gary Green of Louisville; six grandchildren and spouses, Keith and Karin Cseak, Angie and Shan Fanti, Nathanial Green, Casey Green, Chelsey Green and Gaeyn Green; one great-granddaughter. Funeral services will be Friday at 10 a.m. in St. George Byzantine Catholic Cathedral with Fr. Emmanuel Samayoa officiating. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday 6-9 p.m. in the Rossi Funeral Home and one hour before the services at the church Friday morning. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Aultman Hospice at 4510 Dressler Rd. NW, North Canton, OH 44720 or to St. George Byzantine Catholic Cathedral, 44th St. NE, Canton, OH 44714. A Saracusta service will be Thursday at 7 p.m. in the funeral home.

H. James Bosler
H. James Bosler, age 84, of East Canton, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, November 24, 2001. He was a retired farmer and owner-operator of Bosler Construction Co. for 47 years. A life member of the Valley Chapel Brethren in Christ Church, where he served as a board and trustee member for many years. He was a member of the Stark County Farm Bureau where he also served as a Trustee. He had served on the Osnaburg Township Zoning Board, and the Civilian Public Service for four years at Sidling Hills, PA, and Howard, RI. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Florence (Youtz) Bosler; three sisters, Blanche Paulus, Pearl Daily and Grace Hochstein; one brother, Charles Bosler. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth R. (Rider) to whom he was married 52 years; two sons and daughters-in-law, J. Stephen and Linda Bosler of Carrollton, Tom and Candy Bosler of East Canton; two daughters and a son-in-law, Anita G. Peffer of N. Canton, Carol and Ed Raymond of Cambridge; 16 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; one sister, Beulah Royer of Canfield; one brother, Robert Bosler of Louisville. Friends and family will be received at the Valley Chapel Brethren in Christ Church on Wednesday (today) 4-7 p.m. The Myers-Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton is in charge of arrangements.
Heidi Durst Shepard
Heidi M. Shepard, age 27, of Delaware, OH., formerly of Waynesburg, passed away Tuesday morning in Mercy Medical Center after a long courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Massillon and had been a life resident of Waynesburg until moving to Delaware in 1999. Heidi was a 1992 graduate of Sandy Valley High School and a 1997 graduate of Walsh University with a Bachelor of Arts in History, and where she was listed in the National Who's Who Directory and was on the Dean's List while undergoing chemotherapy. She was employed as Supported Living Coordinator for Goodwill of Columbus, OH., and attended the World Harvest Church in Columbus. Survived by her husband, Eric D. Shepard, with whom she celebrated their second Wedding Anniversary on April 24th.; her parents, Marvin and Rita Bittinger Durst, and a brother, Clinton Durst, all of Waynesburg. Services will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Rev. William F. Lewis, Sr. officiating. Interment in Sandy Valley Cemetery. Ina Ruth Lousoff
Ina Ruth Lousoff, age 71, passed away Tuesday morning after a long courageous battle with cancer. She spent her final hours at the family farm outside of Waynesburg where she resided all her life, in the company of loving friends and family. She loved animals and surrounded herself with pets. Mrs. Lousoff, as she was known to the students at Waynesburg Elementary School, taught there for 38 years. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Waynesburg, which she served as a Deacon for many years, and the Auxiliary of Sandy Valley American Legion Post #432. She found great pleasure in serving the church and the community. After her retirement, she enjoyed the Mohawk Trail Garden Club, and developed her talent as a gifted doll maker. Ina Ruth Brinkman married James W. Lousoff on June 25, 1955, and enjoyed 45 years of companionship until Jim's death on April 16, 2001. Her parents, Clarence and Florence Hawke Brinkman, also preceded her in death. Survived by a brother-in-law and his wife, John and Mary Lousoff of Massillon; a niece, Mrs. Ron (Brynlyn) Lehman and a great-nephew, Micah Lewis, all of Seattle, WA. Services will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. in the First Presbyterian Church in Waynesburg with Rev. James M. Hodsden officiating. Interment in Sandy Valley Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Ina Ruth will be missed and remembered by many. Her spirit was a bright spot in this world. The Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia is in charge of arrangements.

Lenora S. Hurdt, age 79, of Uniontown, OH, went home to be with the Lord after a short illness Sunday, November 25, 2001, at her home. She was known as Mam-Ma to her beloved family. Born December 22, 1921, daughter of Clarence and Rose Umberger of Bluefield, WV. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, Charlie; her parents and sister, Virginia. She is survived by her son, Chuck, daughter, Linda (Jerry) Gilbert of Cochranton, PA; grandchildren, Chris (Stacey) Hurdt, Mark (Cheryl) Gilbert, Mike (Glenna) Gilbert of Winchester, KY, Michelle Gilbert of Everglades City, FL; great-grandchildren, Micah, Jacob and McKenzie. Funeral services will be held Wednesday (today) 11 a.m. in the Hecker Funeral Home with Michael Gilbert officiating. Entombment in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
Leo T. Masterson
Leo T. Beef Masterson, age 80, of Louisville, loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother, passed away Monday, November 26, 2001, in the Green Meadows Care Center following an extended illness. Leo was born April 21, 1921, in Alliance to the late Roy and Helena (Hutson) Masterson. He was a graduate of the University of Iowa School of Pharmacology and a former pharmacist. Leo was an avid football fan and a former Stark County football standout. He was a Navy Veteran of World War II where he served in the medical corps on Midway; and a member of St. Louis Catholic Church in Louisville. Leo leaves behind his wife of 55 years, Carolyn (Dudley) of the home; five daughters and two sons-in-law, Nancy Masterson of Fairfax, VA., Marie Neff and her fiancee', Harold Smallwood of Louisville, Linda Masterson of Louisville, Kathy and Rod Zimmer of Massillon, Beverly and Joe Kelliher of Salem, VA; a son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Sharon Masterson of Escondido, CA; a brother, Forrest Masterson of Louisville; eight grandchildren, Jodi, Doug, Carrie and Courtney Neff, Ian Masterson, Bryan, Erika and Megan Kelliher; a great-grandmother, Jasmine Kemp; and very special friend of the family, Bugs Widder. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Louis Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. William Kraynak officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Madelene B. Wilson
Madelene B. Madge Wilson, age 81, of Canton, passed away Tuesday morning with her extended family surrounding her in the Alzheimers unit of Manor Care following an extended illness. Daughter of the late Daniel and Bessie (McWhorter) Bennett. She was a Canton area resident most of her life. Member of the Pentecostal Church of Christ. She had served as a volunteer at Aultman Hospital for a number of years. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Wilson in 1977; two brothers, Willard and Daniel Bennett; two sisters, Inez Raptis and Gladys Patterson; two sons-in-law, G. V. Collinsworth and Jack Lohr. She is survived by two daughters, Sandra Collinsworth and Barbara Lohr, both of Canton; five grandchildren, Rusty Collinsworth of Edgewood, KY, Danny Dru Collinsworth of Canton, Jo Nell Stumpfhauser of Cocoa, FL, Wendy Shoemaker of Canton and Shelly Lohr of Canton. Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. with Rev. Lester Stevens officiating. Interment in Plainfield Cemetery. Mary Sue Diciccio
Mary Sue Norica Diciccio, passed away on October 30, 2001 in Broward Community Hospital after an extended illness. She was born in Magnolia, OH, to Nicola and Angelina Norcia on January 3, 1914. She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony whom she married November 13, 1949. He passed on April 19, 1989. She is survived by a daughter, Phyllis Ann DiPierro and son-in-law, Anthony; a granddaughter, Lori; two grandsons, David and Michael all of Pompano Beach, FL; a brother and sister-in-law, Sarah and Nicholas Gliatta; and a sister, Virginia Cochran of Girard, OH; a brother-in-law, Vincent Pentella; and a sister-in-law, Betty Norcia of Port Charlotte, FL; and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Leonard and Joseph Norica and a sister, Rose Pentella. There will be a Memorial Mass for all family and friends on Dec. 1, 2001 at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony's Church.

Michael D. Hess, 48, of Stow died suddenly November 26, 2001. Born in Canton, he had lived in Stow since 1981 and was employed as a manager with Alltel. Preceded in death by father, Earl C. Hess and nephew, Christopher M. Griffing. He is survived by wife, Ann Marie; daughters, Rachel Marie and Kaitlin Marie; son, Gregory Michael, all of Stow; mother, Norma V. Hess of Louisville; sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and William Griffing of Canton; sister-in-law, Linda Cingle of Cuyahoga Falls; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Rudy and Pauline Cingle of Stow and nephew, Douglas M. Richard L. Berry
Richard L. Berry, age 82, of North Canton, OH, died on November 24, 2001. Born October 23, 1919, to Clarence Berry and Gladys Berry Galloway in Augusta, KY. He served in the U.S. Army and was a foreman at the Hoover Co. He was a 32nd degree Mason, Fidelity (McKinley) Lodge, and a member of the North Canton Community Christian Church. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Anne; two daughters, Jane Berry and Judith Burns Frank (James Frank); eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. At his request, his body has been donated to Case Western Reserve University. Contributions may be made in memory of Richard L. Robert P. Donant
Robert P. Donant, age 72, of Florida, formerly of Louisville, passed away at his home in Florida Tuesday, November 27, 2001. He was born in Canton, OH, May 7, 1929, to the late Albert and Florence (Antony) Donant. Robert was retired from Sugardale Foods in 1990. He was a veteran of the Korean conflict and was of the Catholic faith. He was preceded in death by a son, Thomas, in 1997; a sister, Sr. St. Elizabeth, N.D.; a brother, Edward Donant. He is survived by his wife, Bette A. (Fasano) Donant; two sisters, Nancy Glutting and Carol Alessandrini, both of North Canton; a sister-in-law, Barb Donant of North Canton; three daughters, Judy Medley of Louisville, Bonnie Smith of Canton South, Kerstin Chaney of North Canton; two sons, Ron Donant of Waynesburg, Steve Donant of Bolivar; 13 grandchildren. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in the Stier-Israel Funeral Home of Louisville with Rev. Fr. Tom Bishop officiating. Russell E. McNary, age 88, of Canton, OH, passed away Tuesday morning, November 27, 2001 in Mercy Medical Center. Born in Canton, OH, November 1, 1913 to his parents the late Harry W. and Bessie E. (Selway) McNary, he was a 1931 graduate of McKinley High School. Mr. McNary was a retired auditor of the United States Department of Agriculture retiring October 13, 1978 after 22 years of service and was a former employee of Harter Bank. He was a member of Dueber United Methodist Church, was a mason and a member of Canton Masonic Lodge F. A.M. #60, Scottish Rite Valley of Canton, former treasurer of Boy Scouts Troupe #29 and was a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict, having served in the U.S. Army Air Corp. Survivors include his loving wife, Charlene (Reese) McNary of the home to whom he was married 48 years, September 20; two sons and daughter-in-law, Roger A. McNary of Canton, OH, Denis L. and Brenda McNary of Lima, OH; two daughters and sons-in-law, Janet A. and Randy Phelps of Canton, OH, Carol A. and Eric Gregg of Canton, OH; nine grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Friday 11 a.m. in the Reed Funeral Home with Rev. Otis Essex officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
