Connie J. Picone
Connie J. Picone, age 78 of Louisville, passed away early Sunday morning. A life resident of Canton and Louisville, she was a housewife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mary (Disalvo) DiMario; brothers, Pat and John DiMario; and great-granddaughter, Lauren. Survived by her husband, Orlando Picone with whom she would have celebrated 50 years of marriage in January of 2002; sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Brenda Fonte of Louisville, Ron and Diane Fonte of Canada, Randy Picone of Louisville; daughters and son-in-law, Mary Zeigler of North Canton, Donna and Steve Yablonski of Massillon; sisters, Angie Drozda of North Canton, Ann DiPaulo of Canton; 15 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. Friends may call on Tuesday 6 to 8 p.m. in the ROSSI FUNERAL HOME. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Fr. Ronald Klingler officiating. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
David Edgar
David Edgar Ed Bouscher, age 88 of Canton went to bewith the Lord and was found by family Friday November 16, 2001 on his birthday. He was born in Dennison, Ohio on November 16, 1913 to the late Elmer Raymond Elizabeth Bouscher and was raise by his grandparents. He attended a country school and was a Merchant Marine during WW II. Ed was a retired mechanic for over 30 years for the Pennsylvania Railroad. He enjoyed boxing and fishing. Preceded in death by his wife Ina Mae in 1993; son, Raymond who passed at the same time; brother and sister-in-law, Bill Dorothy Bouscher; and four Grandchildren. He is survived by daughter, Elizabeth Smith of Canton; sons anddaughters-in-law, John Monika Bouscher of Canton, and R. Keith Shanon Bouscher of Massillon; 12 Grandchildren and 16 Great-grandchildren. Friends may call Tuesday 6-9:00 PM in the Arnold Funeral Home, Canton. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday 10:00 AM in the funeral home with Pastor Steve Ferguson officiating. Final Resting Place is Evergreen Cemetery in Louisville.
Donald R. Williams
Donald R. Williams, age 86, of Sandyville, passed away Sunday morning in Hennis Care Centre in Bolivar. He was born in New Philadelphia, a son of the late William and Anna Meagher Williams, and had been a Sandyville resident most of his life. He retired in 1979 from the U.S. Ceramic Tile Co. in East Sparta, after 45 years service, where he was a foreman. Mr. Williams was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Sandyville, a charter member and past-president of the Sandyville Community Club, and also a member of Isaac l. Kinney American Legion Post #244 since 1944, and the Junior Order of United American Mechanics. He served with the U.S. Navy during World War II. Preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, L. May Williams, on August 23, 1992; and two brothers, Harold and Francis Williams. Survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Joyce Williams, of Del City, OK; three grandchildren, Daniel R. Williams II and his wife, April of Longview, TX., Sheri May Williams of Shawnee, OK., and Nita Patterson of Del City; three great grandchildren, Alex and Noah Haggard, Mikaila Williams; one sister, Mrs. Verna Taylor of Columbus, OH; several nieces and nephews. Services will be conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Grace Lutheran Church with Pastor Matthew A. Diehl officiating. Interment in Greenlawn Cemetery in Sandyville. Donna Jean Greene
Donna Jean Greene, age 72, of Canton, OH., passed away Sunday morning in the emergency room at Aultman Hospital following an extended illness. Born in Massillon on July 5, 1929 she was a retired employee of the Hoover Co., retiring in 1992. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Marie Reisenberger; and a brother, Jackie Eley. Survivors include four daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Ron Wootton of Jackson Township, Suzanne Greene of Marion, OH., Betsy and Scott Mullet of Canton and Karen Deitrick of Canton; one sister, Jeanne Schrader of Canton; and her aunt, Midge Hall of Canton. There are ten grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and numerous other aunts, uncles and cousins surviving. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 12 Noon in the Reed Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Massillon. Calling hours at the funeral home one hour before services on Wednesday from 11-12 Noon.
Doris E. Yarnell
Doris E. Yarnell, age 79, of Canton, OH., passed away Sunday morning in Aultman Hospital following an extended illness. Born in Canton on January 12, 1922. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Yarnell; also by a daughter, Nancy Dawson; and a brother, Donald Richard. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Daniel and Merrily Yarnell of Uniontown, OH., Philip and Patricia Yarnell of Jackson Township; two sisters, Norma Summers of Canton and Jane Richard of Canton who was also her special caregiver. There are numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Her wishes were to be cremated and a Memorial Service will be held Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. in the Reed Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Lemberg officiating. There will be no calling hours.
Josephine A. Castignola
Josephine A. Castignola, age 84, formerly of Canton and more recently residing in Alliance, OH., passed away Saturdays morning November 17, 2001 in the Alliance Community Hospital following an extended illness. Born in Fairpoint, OH., on December 22, 1916, she had lived the greater portion of her life in the Canton area. She was a former member of St. Peters, Catholic Church. Mrs. Castignola was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony who passed away in 1993; also by her parents, Joseph and Mary Mastella; a sister, Katherine Fish; and a half sister, Nellie Howvanich. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Joan and William Brewster of Lafayette, CO; grandson, Joseph Huff of Corinth, TX; her twin sister, Blanche Angerer of Louisville, OH; and brother, Frank Mastella of Canton. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Reed Funeral Home with Pastor Forest Yoder officiating. Burial will be in St. Peters Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home on Tuesday evening 7-9 p.m.

Leo L. Koenig, age 89 of Canton, died Sunday, November 18, 2001 in Hanover House. Born in Megs County, OH., Leo had been a Canton resident since about 1940. He retired from the Timken Co., in 1972 as a Truck Driver with 32 years of service and was a member of McKinley Eagles Aerie #2370. Leo survived all of his brothers and sisters. Survivors include his wife of 50 + years, Nola I. Koenig of the residence, neighbors and friends. Funeral service will be Wednesday 1 p.m. in Spiker-Foster-SHRIVER Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave NW. Interment will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call from 12:30 to time of service at the funeral home.

Raymond Edgar Bouscher
Raymond Edgar Ray Bouscher, age 57, of Canton, went to be with the Lord and was found by family Friday November 16, 2001. He was born in Louisville, Ohio on October 20, 1944 to David E. Ina Mae (Dean) Bouscher. He was a Class of 1965 Louisville High School Graduate and had attended the class reunions. He was a custodian and enjoyed reading the newspaper, fishing, and was a sports enthusiast. Preceded in death by his mother, Ina Mae in 1993; his father, David who passed at the same time; and four nieces and nephews. He is survived by his sister, Elizabeth Smith of Canton; brothers and sisters-in-law, John Monika Bouscher of Canton, and R. Keith Shanon Bouscher of Massillon; 12 nieces and nephews and 16 great-nieces and nephews. Friends may call Tuesday 6-9:00 PM in the Arnold Funeral Home,Canton. Russell Andrew Smith Jr.
Russell Andrew Smith Jr., died unexpectedly on November 15, 2001 at Grant Memorial Hospital in Columbus, OH. He had resided in Columbus for the past 15 years. He was born August 2, 1951, to Louise and Russell Smith. He graduated from Timken High School in 1969. He served in the United States Airforce. Russell is survived by his wife, Ruth of Columbus; parents, Russell and Louise Smith of Canton; sons, Scott and Andrew, daughters, Kahlia and Stacy; brothers, Charles Eddie (Janet) of Columbus, Ricky (Wanda) of Youngstown; grandmother, Pearl Newman; seven grandchildren; three stepdaughters, Janet, Carla and Audra; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Gil, age 86, formerly of Canton, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away Friday, November 16, 2001, in UPMC Shady Side Hospital in Pittsburgh following an extended illness. Salome was born June 16, 1915 in Campofrio, Spain to the late Carpio and Abelina (Fernandez) Bernal. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home in Louisville with Rev. Kenneth Lee Pugh officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
