Clarence F. King
Clarence F. Binger King, age 86, of Louisville, loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away Thursday June 14, 2001 in St. Joseph Care Center Assisted Living following a sudden illness. Clarence was born August 24, 1914 in Louisville to the late Harry E. and Laura (Haidet) King. He owned and operated King's Cafe in Louisville from 1933 to 1964. In 1964, Clarence became an insurance broker and financial consultant for IDS where he retired from in 1972. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and St. Louis Catholic Church. Clarence is survived by four daughters and two sons-in-law, Marilyn Marie and Terrill Spach of Sunset Beach, NC, Linda Lee and Richard Barnes of Louisville, Constance Sakotas of East Canton and Kathleen King of Canton; three sons and daughters-in-law, Dr. James F. and Charlene King of Canton, Robert R. and Cynthia King of Louisville and Dennis and Linda King of Canton; two sisters, Lucille Lawrence of Canton and Mildred Paumier of North Canton; 22 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Ginny (Hay) King; four sisters, Dorothy Pouchubay, Hazel Pagnao, Rhea Calloway and Helen Duncan; and two brothers, Walter and Robert King. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Louis Catholic Church with Msgr. Ken Miller officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call Saturday from 5-8 p.m. at the Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home in Louisville. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Louis Church Building Fund.

Delbert E. Junie Warner, Jr. Services will be conducted Monday at 10:30 a.m in the Little Country Church in Waynesburg. Friends may call Sunday 2-5 p.m. at the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia.
Dianne M. Price
Dianne M. Price, age 58, of Canton, OH, passed away Thursday evening at the home following an extended illness. Born in Canton on January 30, 1943 she was a 1961 graduate of Lincoln High School. She currently was employed at AEP in Canton, where she had worked for the past 11 years. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Winkler. Survivors include her mother, Enid Winkler of Canton; three sons and daughter-in-law, Ty and Rayelle Price, Brian Price and Chad Price all of Canton; her daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Joe Ross of Euclid, OH; the father of four children, Don Price of Canton; three grandchildren, Chaz Price, Kamaran Price and Josie Ross; her sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Lou Zerby of Canton; and her fiance', Dan Santarelli of the home. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 11 a.m. in the Reed Funeral Home with Chaplain, Bonnie Barker officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Dorothy Blubaugh
Dorothy M. Blubaugh, age 88, of North Canton, died Friday in the House of Loreto. Born in Canton, she had been a North Canton resident most of her life. She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church in North Canton, the Columbus Womens Club, and was a past president of St. Paul's Womens Guild. Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph L. Blubaugh, Jr., in 1992; sister, Vera Humbert. Survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Louise and Brian Gately of New York City, Rita Gugliotta of Santa Fe, NM; two sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph L. III and Kathleen Blubaugh, Duane E. Blubaugh and Sue Hicks, all North Canton; sister and brother-in-law, Fay and Dr. Mark Moots of Naples, FL; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday at 1 p.m. in St. Paul's Catholic Church in North Canton with Fr. James McKarns as celebrant. Burial in St. John's Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday 4-8 p.m. in the Lamiell Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the House of Loreto.
Dortha Kohr Aull
Dortha Kohr Aull, age 77, of Fredericksburg, VA died Friday, June 15, 2001 in Mary Washington Hospital. She was born on November 20, 1923 in Strasburg, OH, to the late William Morris and Grace Garber Kohr. Mrs. Aull was a graduate of Kent State University. She was a retired teacher from General Greene School, Greensboro, NC. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and the Junior League in Greensboro, NC. She was an avid violin, trumpet and piano player and enjoyed cooking. She was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving from 1945-46. Mrs. Aull was the widow of George H. Aull Jr. and is survived by two daughters, Cynthia White of Minneapolis, MN and Marsha Souers of Fredericksburg, VA; one son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Lillian Souers of Dallas, TX; four grandchildren, Kristin Souers, Robin Souers, Keleah Souers-Beck and Gabriel Souers-Beck; and family friends, Dr. Frank Durcan of Fredericksburg, VA and Paul Thomas of Minneapolis, MN. Elizabeth Comer
Elizabeth (Kellner) Comer, age 86, of Alliance, OH., died at St. Joseph Care Center, Friday, June 15, 2001. Born November 2, 1913, in Alliance, OH., to the late George and Sarah (Zeiler) Kellner. A resident of Alliance, OH., all her life. She was a graduate of Alliance High School, and received additional education in Stanford, Conn. She was Secretary for physical education and athletics for Mt. Union College until retiring in 1984 with 24 years of employment. A member of First United Presbyterian Church, member of Weaver Bible Class, Stephen Ministry, Assist. Minister in his duties, YWCA, Alliance Woman's Club, AARP, Alliance Community Concert, Alliance Retired Teachers Association. Dedicated her life to helping others at work and her church. She is survived by two sons, Paul H. (Pauline) Comer of Canton, Robert F. (Diane) Comer II of Magnolia, OH; one daughter, Cathe Comer of Charlottesville, VA; five grandchildren, Trent Comer, Todd Comer, Thomas Comer, Jeffrey Comer, Kristen Comer; one sister, Ann Tillie Hively of Philadelphia, PA. Besides her parents she was also preceded in death by one grandson, Ty Comer; two sisters and four brothers. Private services Monday, June 18, 2001, at 1:30 P.M. in the Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home, Alliance, OH., with Pastor Glenn Waggamon officiating. Interment in Highland Memorial Park.
Esidore J. Parker
Esidore Eb Parker, age 71, died Thursday, June 14, 2001 at the Hospice Care Center in Akron, OH. He was born on June 7, 1930 in Youngstown, OH to Esidore and Mary Parker. Eb served in the U. S. Air Force before attending Ohio University, where he graduated with a degree in mathematics. He married Patricia Zinsmeister, in 1955. Together they shared 46 years of marriage and raised three boys in North Canton. Eb was a devoted husband and father and will be missed by all those fortunate to have known him. Survived by his wife, Patricia; three sons, Thom, Jud and Curtiss; five grandchildren, Jason, Andrew, Brittany, Kempthorn, and Kurt; two sisters, Tina Shipton and Buzzi Gates. A memorial service will be Monday June 18, 2001 at 4 p.m. in the Lamiell Funeral Home with Rev. Douglas Patton officiating. There will be no calling hours. Gary Lee Lint
Gary Lee Lint, age 56, of Perry Twp., died unexpectedly Thursday evening. Born January 3, 1945 in Massillon to the late Russell and Grace Lint. He was a 1964 McKinley High School Graduate, a U.S. Army Veteran having served during Vietnam, a member of Cedar Lodge #430 F AM, A.A.S.R. Chapter Valley of Canton and was employed by Norfolk and Southern Railroad (formerly Conrail) for 37 years. Gary was the loving husband of Katherine; and devoted father, of Christopher Lint and Stacy Lint both of the home; and was a very special Poppy to his grandson, William Dale (Lint) Keefer also of the home. There is one brother and sister-in-law, Kim and Christie Lint of Louisville; and two nephews, David and Shawn Lint also surviving. Funeral service will be conducted Monday at 11 a.m. in the Reed Funeral Home with Rev. Raymond Tucker officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. James McConnaughy
James E. McConnaughy, age 69, of Carrollton, formerly of Tampa, FL, died Thursday morning June 15, 2001 in Aultman Hospital after a brief illness. He was born August 2, 1931 in Amsterdam son of the late James and Sylvia Morrow McConnaughy. James was an Air Force Veteran of the Korean Conflict flying 50 missions as a gunner. He was a member of the Carroll Co. Vets Club. He retired in 1982 from Weirton Steel. He then moved to Tampa, FL and worked as a maintenance engineer for Fontana Hall a private college dorm. He returned to Carrollton in 1997. James is survived by his wife, Ellen; two sons, David (Kelly) McConnaughy of South Carolina, Thomas McConnaughy of Michigan; two step-daughters, Brenda and Kimberly of Tampa, FL; one sister, Janet (Bill) McLain of Stow; five grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. James was preceded in death by a son, Mark; two brothers, Kenneth and Robert; one sister, Kathleen. Funeral services will be held Monday evening at 6 p.m. in the Sweeney-Dodds Funeral Home at Carrollton with Rev. Marty McAllister officiating. Friends may call Monday afternoon from 2 p.m. until the time of service.
John L. Davis, Sr.
John L. Davis, Sr., age 54, died Thursday at home in Fort Wayne, IN. Born in Canton, OH, he was a commodities manager with Dana Corp. for 35 years. He was our Best Friend, Father, and he was an avid golfter. Survivors include two sons, John Davis, Jr. and wife, Alicia of Canton, OH, and Tyler Mumma, of Fort Wayne; daughter, Michele Wiltrout and husband, Todd of Jeromesville, OH; mother, Wilma Davis of E. Canton;; three sisters, Roberta Moulin of E. Canton, OH, Barbara Alaback of Louisville, OH, and Annette Miller of St. Louis, MO; two brothers, Frederick Davis of Canton, OH, and Raymond Davis of Hardy, AR; companion, Dawn Mumma, a very good friend, of Forth Wayne; and one grandson, Dustin Davis. Preceded ion death by his father, Elmer O. Davis in 1989; and sister, Shirley Davis in 1959. Services 7 p.m. Monday with calling hours one hour prior at D.O. Margaret C. Hall
Margaret C. Hall, age 91, of Alliance, OH., died at Alliance Community Hospital, Thursday, June 14, 2001. Born in North Canton, August 28, 1909, she has been an Alliance resident for the past 35 years. She received her teaching certificate from Kent State University; and was an elementary school teacher in McDonaldsville, Ohio Schools. Daughter of the late Norman and Grace (Shario) Floom, also preceded in death by her husband whom she married June 5, 1937, and he died in 1982. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Maximo. She is survived by two sons, Thomas J. Hall of Cincinnati, OH., Dale E. Hall of Canton; two daughters, Marjorie Geller of McLean, VA., Lynn L. Hall of Alliance, OH; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one brother, Kenneth Floom of N. Canton; two sisters, Arlene Marlowe of Greentown, OH., Mary Hinkle of New Philadelphia, OH. She was also preceded in death by one son, Donald and four sisters. Mary Jane Adler
Mary Jane Adler, age 85, of North Canton, died Thursday in Windsor Medical Center. She attended Randolph-Macon Womens College and Northwestern University. A member of Congress Lake Club and an avid golfer starting at 14 years of age. By the time she was 17 and 18, she won back to back Akron District Championships. In 1933 she completed in the National Womens Golf Championship in Illinois. She loved to garden, play tennis, and was an excellent cook. In her later years, she was a regular walker at Price Park. Survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Julianne Miller, Melissa Jane and D. Michael Smith, Elizabeth and Bryan Shipman, Amanda and Duane Cromwell; sons and daughters-in-law, David D. and Marcia Miller, James S. and Judy Adler; seven grandchildren; sister, Elizabeth Schaler. Preceded in death by husband, James S. Adler, MD. Funeral Home with Rev. Charlotte Still officiating. Friends may call one hour before services. Richard H. Wingard
Richard H. Wingard, age 89, of Canton, OH, passed away Wednesday evening June 13, 2001 in Aultman Hospital following a brief illness. Born in Lamartine, PA on July 31, 1911, he was the son of the late Clyde and Lulu May (Kribbs) Wingard. He had lived the greater portion of his life in Canton, was a graduate of McKinley High School and a retired employee of the Timken Co., retiring in 1974 after having over 30 years of service. He was a member of the Westbrook Park United Methodist Church and the William McKinley Masonic Lodge (Fidelity) #431 F AM. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie J. (Buchanan) Wingard, who passed away March 26, 1973 and also by a brother, Bernard G. Wingard. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Richard J. and Susan Wingard of Cheshire, CT; grandson, Christopher Wingard of Augusta, GA and granddaughter and husband, Regan and Rick Zuercher of Hudson, OH; great-granddaughter, Erin Zuercher; his twin brother, Robert Wingard of Pittsburg, KS; and brother, Hugh Wingard of Columbus, OH; nephew, Donald Wingard; and niece, Sally Franzen. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 12 Noon in the Reed Funeral Home with Rev. David Case officiating. Burial will be in North Lawn Cemetery. Calling hours were held at the funeral home Friday 7-9 p.m. and will be held one hour before the service on Saturday 11-12 Noon. A Masonic service will be conducted Friday at 6:45 p.m.

Vera A. McDowell, of North Canton, died Friday in her home after a brief illness. She was a member of Zion United Church of Christ. Survived by husband, James U. McDowell, Sr., of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Paul Miller of Newcomerstown; son and daughter-in-law, James and Bonnie McDowell Jr., of Canton; grandchildren, Kyle and Cassie Miller, and Mollie McDowell; sister, Martha Lee Hamilton of Woodsfield, OH. Virginia M. Georgoulis, age 88, of Canton, passed away, Friday morning, June 15, 2001 in St. Joseph Care Center in Louisville. She was retired from Timken Mercy Hospital. Preceded in death by husband, Michael, in 1954; three brothers; two sisters. Survived by daughters, Anna (Richard) LaMenza, Kitty (Lester) Goss, all of Canton; son, Gust (Gladys) Georgoulis of Penn Hills, PA; three sisters; one brother; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
