Arline D. Hostetler. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday in the Beech Mennonite Church in Louisville with Rev. Ron Blough officiating. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Sunday (tonight) in the Stier-Israel Funeral Home of Louisville and one hour before services on Monday at the church. Interment will be in the Beech Mennonite Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Beech Mennonite Church Library Fund.

Betty Jane (Smith) Leasure, age 67, of Madison, OH., died May 25, 2001 at Inn Madison Nursing Center. Born May 13, 1934 in Cincinnati, OH. Survived by daughter, Theresa Leasure of Canton. Services to celebrate her life will be Wednesday, June 20 at 7 p.m. in St. James Episcopal Church, 131 North State St., Painesville. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Womens Halfway House of Painesville or Lake Geauga Center on Alcoholism or St. James Church.

Donna M. Hammond
Donna M. Hammond, age 66, of Canton passed away Friday morning, June 22, 2001 in Aultman Hospital following a brief illness. Born in Sommerset, OH, October 21, 1934 to her parents, the late Paul and Rose Ann (Geiger) Ritz, she lived most of her life in Canton area. Mrs. Hammond was a retired teacher from Canton City School System where she had been the Cosmetology teacher for 23 years at Timken Senior High School. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church. Besides her parents; she was preceded in death by infant daughter, Heidi; and her sister, Roberta Haas. Survivors include her husband, James (Don) Hammond of the home to whom she was married 43 years; four children and their spouses, Vicki Lynn and Brent Dierdorf of North Carolina, Terri Louise and Steven Ickes of North Canton, OH, Michael Paul Hammond of Canton, OH, William Harold and Debra Hammond of Canton; her brother, Paul Ritz Jr., of Canton, OH; five grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Monday 1:30 p.m. in the Reed Funeral Home with Rev. Arthur E. Bliese officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Calling hours at the funeral home one hour prior to services on Monday 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Eben A. Peer II
Eben A. Butch Peer II, age 60, of Louisville, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2001, in Alliance Community Hospital following a sudden illness. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 am. in St. Louis Catholic Church with Msgr. Ken Miller officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call Monday 4-7 p.m. at the Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home in Louisville.
Elizabeth Reisinger
Elizabeth (Fritzshe) Reisinger, age 94, of Lehigh Acres, FL, passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2001 in Aultman Hospital after a short illness. Born in Germany, she had lived in the Canton area most of her life until moving to Lehigh Acres, FL in 1978. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Lehigh Acres, FL, where she was in the evening prayer circle, choir and many other activities. She was a former member for 40 years of the First Lutheran Church in Canton where she was in the German Choir for 36 years. Also a member of the American Swiss Club and the Fine Arts League of Lehigh Acres, FL. Preceded in death by her husbands, William Fritzshe and Ralph Reisinger, Sr. Survived by a daughter, Marjorie Dysle of North Canton; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ralph, Jr. and Betty Reisinger of North Canton, and Frank and Kay Reisinger of Canton; grandchildren, Raymond and David Dysle, Rebecca Harden, Deborah Cook, Connie Crowl, Linda Burson, and Ralph III, Daniel, Kevin, John, Gregory, Jeffrey, and Frank II Reisinger; 18 great-grandchildren; and several cousins. So much could be said, but it would take too long to recount the stories of faith for 94 years. She finished the race that God set before her and placed her hope in the resurrection to a better life. A memorial service will be Saturday, June 30, at 11 a.m. in the First Lutheran Church with Rev. Larry Houff officiating. Private burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park. There will be no calling hours. The Lamiell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Lutheran Church.
Gene E. Stevenson
Gene E. Stevenson, age 87, of Canton, passed away early Saturday morning in Aultman Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born a daughter of the late Albert and Margaret Keyes, she had been a life resident of the area. She was a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church, Canton Women's Club and Order of the Eastern Star. Preceded in death by her husband, Attorney Lorn P. Stevenson and one sister. Survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Tedder P. and Dodi Stevenson of Campbell, CA and James L. Stevenson of Canton; four grandchildren, Tedder Stevenson, Jenny Miller, Rick Stevenson and Jeffrey Stevenson; many nieces and nephews. Services will be conducted Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the Formet-Clevenger Gordon Funeral Home. Interment in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call Monday 6-8 p.m. in the funeral home.
Gladys M. Kirkbride
Gladys M. Kirkbride, age 73, of 222 W. 8th St., Dover, OH, died Friday following an extended illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Kirkbride, who died in 1997. She is survived by five children, Jeff, Ann, William and Mark Kirkbride and Linda McRobie. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters and a brother. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the First Moravian Church at Dover with interment in the Dover Burial Park. The body will lie in state at the church for one hour before the funeral on Monday. There will be a Saracusta Service Sunday at 8 p.m. in the funeral home.

Joan E. Holmesley Wilt, age 59 of Phoenix, AZ, passed away April 12, 2001 after a long illness. Born in Ravenna, OH, she was the daughter of John R. Holmesley and stepmother, Lindy. Joan was a graduate of Lincoln High School. Survivors include her husband, Daniel Wilt of Phoenix, AZ; sister, Judith Ann Smith of Phoenix, AZ; four children, daughters, Angela and Marsha of Arizona, Tammy of Los Angeles; son, Capt. Daniel Wilt, Jr. of Arizona; six grandchildren. Cremation has taken place in Arizona.
