Bonnie F. Keller
Bonnie Francis Keller, age 72, of Canton, went home to be with the Lord, July 1, 2001, in her home after an extended illness. She was born October 16, 1928, in Canton, to her parents, the late Ralph and Fannie (Vaught) Fasana. Bonnie was a member of the Canton Christian Fellowship, Mayfield Manor Club, the National Council of Senior Citizens and the AARP. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Keller, Jr., in 1990; brother, William Trusty; and sister, Margarite Molloy. Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Rick and Susan Keller of Dover, Steven and Laurie Keller of Canton and Dwight and Pamela Keller of Jacksonville, FL; one daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Donald Wagner of Canton; a brother, Tom Trusty of Cincinnati; ten grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Reed Funeral Home with Rev. Lindsey Hayes officiating. Burial will be in St. Jacob Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday 6-9 p.m. in the funeral home and one hour prior to services on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions to be made to Aultman Hospice, 4510 Dressler Rd. N.W., Canton, OH 44718.

Eloise Elliott
Eloise (Nadine) Elliott, age 76, of Canton, OH, passed away Saturday afternoon, June 30, 2001, in the Hanover House following an extended illness. Born in Buffalo, OH, August 16, 1924, to the late Charles L. and Grace (Davis) Allbritain, she lived most of her life in the Canton area. She was a retired employee of Edmont Wilson Rubber Co. Mrs. Elliott was a member of United Gospel Tabernacle. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Carroll Pete Rossitter, John Turk Rossitter, Howard Boob Allbritain, Dallas Jinx Allbritain; one sister, Geraldine Midge Hudson; and her grandson, Gordon E. Getts. Survivors include her husband, Gordon Elliott of the home to whom she was married 56 years; three sons and daughters-in-law, Barry and Shirley Elliott of Canton, Larry and Susan Elliott of Navarre, OH, Gordon and Leslie Elliott of Greensboro, NC; three daughters and son-in-law, Linda Newhouser of Canton, OH, Kathy Bishop of Canton, OH, Patty and John Kling of Akron, OH; her brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Callie Allbritain of Canton, OH; her sister and brother-in-law, Imogene and Roy Unkefer of Louisville, OH; 23 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the United Gospel Tabernacle, 1900 Stark Avenue S.W., Canton, with Pastor Greg Griffith officiating. Elsie M. Dunmire
Elsie M. Dunmire, age 81, of North Canton, OH, passed away Saturday afternoon, June 30, 2001, in Mercy Medical Center following an extended illness. Born in Black Lick, PA, October 30, 1919, to her parents, the late Andrew and Olive (Hannah) Dayton, she lived most of her life in the Canton area. She was self employed and retired as a nurse aide. Mrs. Dunmire was a charter member of Trinity Gospel Temple. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Dunmire in 1969. Survivors include her son, Ronald Dunmire of Arizona; three brothers, Richard Dayton of Canton, OH, Donald Dayton of Chatsworth, GA, Earl Dayton of Dalton, GA; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Trinity Gospel Temple, 1612 Tuscarawas Street W., Canton, OH, with Rev. Sharon Carnes officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Grady J. Buckner
Grady J. Buckner, age 82, of Canton, OH, passed away Saturday afternoon, June 30, 2001, in Country Lawn Nursing Home in Navarre, OH, following an extended illness. Born in Rocky Mount, VA, November 15, 1918, to his parents, the late George and Willie Buckner, he lived most of his life in the Canton area. He was a retired employee of American Transit Lines, retiring after 28 years of service. He was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church of Canton. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Earl Wright, Wilkins Wright, Benjamin Wright; sister, Carrie Miles; and grandson, Christopher Malzahn. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Buckner of the home to whom he would have been married 59 years, September 14, 2001; two daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Bill Richey of Navarre, OH, Sandra and Kerry Culpepper of Florida; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Cecil Wright of Norfolk, VA and Bill Buckner of Rocky Mount, VA; one sister, Leslie Augubrite of Boones Mill, VA; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the Reed Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Fortune officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Makayla B. Worley
Makayla Breann Worley, infant daughter of Cassandra M. Worley, passed away unexpectedly June 29, 2001, in Aultman Hospital. Besides her mother, survivors include her maternal grandparents, Kimberly J. Jones of Canton and Ronald E. Worley of Massillon; two aunts, Shaunna Duma and Amber Worley, both of Canton; and uncle, Ryan Shaheen of Massillon. Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Forest Hill Cemetery with Rev. Howard Duma officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
Sandra L. Capone
Sandra L. Capone, age 50, of Canton, OH, passed away unexpectedly Saturday morning, June 30, 2001, in the emergency room of Aultman Hospital. Born in Canton, OH, February 5, 1951, to her parents, the late Henry and Norma Jean (Kittle) Hewitt, she was a 1969 graduate of Lincoln High School. Survivors include her husband, Jack Capone of the home, to whom she was married five years; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Deborah and Steven Dexter of Canton, OH, Penni and Erich Balzer of Granville, OH; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 3 p.m. in the Reed Funeral Home with Rev. Raymond L. Tucker officiating. Calling hours at the funeral home Monday (tonight) 7-9 p.m. At her request, her body will be cremated following the funeral service.

William Whitmer Sr.
William H. Whitmer, Sr., age 94, of Navarre, died Saturday evening at Doctors Hospital following a brief illness. Born in Bethlehem Twp., he was a life time resident of Navarre. He was retired from Republic Steel (Berger Division) with 36 years service. He was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church, having been active with the Sociable 60's of the church. Preceded in death by his parents, Allen and Elta (Whitmer) Whitmer; wife, Mabel M. Whitmer, Nov. 28, 1980; and one brother. Survivors include sons, William H. Whitmer, Jr. of Canton and Richard O. Whitmer of Tuscon, AZ; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Otterbein United Methodist with Rev. Phil Raynes and Rev. Paul Gerycz officiating. Calling hours will be Monday 6-8 p.m. at Atkinson-Feucht-Shaidnagle in Navarre.
