Shirley A. Moro - LOVELAND, OHIO - Shirley A. Moro, 73, of Loveland, Ohio, formerly of Steubenville, Ohio, passed away Saturday, May 5th, at Cincinnati Hospice. She was born April 5, 1934, in Steubenville and lived in Steubenville most of her life. She moved to Loveland, Ohio, with her husband, Ed, in 1988. Shirley is the daughter of the late William A. Becker, Sr. and Elizabeth F. Pipkin Becker. Shirley is also preceded in death by her brother, William A. Becker, Jr., who died in 2004. She is survived by her husband, Edward J. Moro of Loveland, Ohio; her brother Robert J. (Bob) Becker of Wintersville, Ohio; her three children, Elizabeth A. (Beth) Moro Wood and husband Jim of Colliers, WV; Robin L. Moro of Loveland, Ohio; Rebecca (Becky) Moro McGarry of Maineville, Ohio; and her grandchildren, Christopher M. McGarry, and Jordan R. Wood. Shirley founded Moro Realty in 1972. She was a member and past president of the Steubenville Area Board of Realtors. During her term as president of the Board of Realtors, she formed the Steubenville Area Multiple Listing Service. Locally, she served as treasurer of Indian Creek School District from 1985 – 1988; and then as treasurer of Winton Woods City Schools in Cincinnati, Ohio, from 1988-1993. While she lived in the Steubenville area, she was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church in Wintersville; and, in Cincinnati, she was a member of the Good Shepherd Church in Loveland, the Cincinnati Board of Realtors and the Tri-State Travelers. Friends may call at Tufts-Schildmeyer Funeral Home in Loveland, Ohio, on Thursday, from 6-8pm and at Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd.Steubenville, Ohio, on Friday, from 6-9pm. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be on Saturday at 9:30am at Blessed Sacrament Church in Wintersville, with Monsignor Gerald Calovini as celebrant. Interment follows at Mt. Diane T. Pizzoferrato Montgomery - STEUBENVILLE, Ohio - Diane T. Pizzoferrato Montgomery, 49, of Steubenville, died Sunday, March 18, 2007, in the Carriage Inn. She was born Sept. 3, 1957, in Steubenville, daughter of Arlene Vitale Pizzoferrato of Steubenville and the late Richard T. Pizzoferrato. In addition to her mother, Diane is survived by two sons, Curtis James “CJ” Montgomery of Sturgeon, Pa. and Aaron Richard Montgomery at home; two brothers, Richard A. (Lisa) Pizzoferrato of Steubenville and Vincent J. Pizzoferrato of Perry Twp., Ohio; her nephew, Vincent Pizzoferrato; and her nieces, Jenna, Kristen, Samantha and Kelly Pizzoferrato. Diane was an LPN for many years at the Carriage Inn and a graduate of Catholic Central High School Class of 1975 and also of Jefferson Technical College. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Calling hours are Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Father Wayne Morris, celebrant. Entombment in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. MINGO JUNCTION, Ohio - Agnes C. Herrick, 81, of Mingo Junction died Thursday, March 1, 2007, in Valley Hospice Palliative Care. She was born April 21, 1925 in McKeesport, Pa., daughter of the late Andi and Anna Varga Seliga. She is also preceded in death by her husband, John “Skip” Herrick; three brothers, Peter, Joe and John Seliga; and two sisters, Vera Seliga and Margaret Warren. Surviving are three daughters, Denise (Eno) Mucci of Reynoldsburg, Marian (Kevin) Taliani of Steubenville and Corine (Blake) Miller of Harrisburg, Pa.; one brother, Edward (Helen) Seliga and one sister, Helen Christian, both of McKeesport, Pa.; six grandchildren, Jessica Maloy, John Mucci, Nate, Sam, Rudy and Sarah Taliani; and three great- grandchildren, Alex Maloy, Gabriella and Giovanna Taliani. Agnes was retired from Vitamin World where she was the manager and also worked as a clerk at the former Hub Department Store. She was a member of Servants of the Christ the King Catholic Church and its C.W.C. Calling hours are today, 6-9 p.m., at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Saturday at Holy Name Cathedral with Father Timothy Shannon, celebrant. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. There will be a Vigil service today at 8:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Jefferson County Humane Society, P.O. Box 233, Steubenville, OH 43952.
