Betty Ann Frabutt
ASHTABULA - Betty Ann Frabutt, 78, a resident of Ashtabula, died Saturday, August 2, 2003, at the Ashtabula County Nursing Home.
Born on December 12, 1924, she was the daughter of Albert and Ruth (Snyder) McIntyre.
She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church and the Eagles Auxiliary, of which she was a past chair lady.
Mrs. Frabutt enjoyed animals, playing cards, and spending time with her friends and family.
Survivors include one son, James (Jeannine) Frabutt of New Port, NC; four grandchildren, Veronica Valentine, Jamie Marie David, Heather Marie Payton, and James Dominic Frabutt; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Albert McIntyre of Copperas Cove, TX, and Charles Craigmiles of Laughlin, NV; and a cousin, Raymond (Gail) Urch.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dominic; two sisters, Luella Farnbauch and Dorothy Keener; and a nephew, Robert McIntyre.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 6, 2003, at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Burial to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Friends may call at the GUERRIERO FUNERAL HOME, 1550 West 19th Street, Ashtabula, on Wednesday from 9 to 10:30 a.m.

Delores R. Taylor
ASHTABULA - Delores R. Taylor, 84, formerly of Lake Road, Conneaut, died Monday, April 2, 2001, at Carington Park in Ashtabula.
She was born July 17, 1916, in Pelham, N.Y., the daughter of Joseph and Maria (Natali) Rossi. She moved to Conneaut from Thornwood, N.Y., in 1979.
She worked as an office supervisor at Tele-Resources Inc., in Armonk, N.Y., and retired in 1979. She was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Church in Conneaut.
Survivors include a sister, Florence Caneva of Hartsdale, N.Y.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a husband, John; a sister, Helen Dash; and two brothers, Henry and Danny Rossi.
Service is 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Greenlawn Memory Gardens chapel, North Kingsville. The Rev. Raymond Thomas, pastor of St. Frances Cabrini and St. Mary's churches, will officiate. Entombment will follow in the mausoleum.
There will be no calling hours.
Thompson-Smith Funeral Home, 345 Main St., Conneaut, is in charge of arrangements.

Katherine M. Jasek
ASHTABULA - Katherine M. Jasek, 84, died Saturday, June 2, 2001, in the Ashtabula County Medical Center.
She was born Nov. 14, 1916 in Wilmerding, Pa., the daughter of Michaele and Tekla Dratwa.
She has been a resident of Ashtabula County for the past 70 years and have lived the past five years at the Jefferson Geriatric Center.
She has worked for the Ashtabula Tannery.
Mrs. Jasek was a member of the St. Joseph Church in Ashtabula.
Survivors include her daughter; Helen Stainfield of Cadiz, Ky., her granddaughters; Debra Winters of Phoenix, Ariz., Tami Stainfield of San Francisco, Calif., her sisters; Mary Campbell of Germantown, Tenn., Frances Corbin of Senica, S.C., and Sophie Cave of Ashtabula.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Karol on May 25, 1975; her brothers; Joe, Stanley and Casper.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m., at the family graveside in Oakdale Cemetery, Jefferson.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Jefferson Geriatrics Center Activity Fund.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Zaback-Czup Funeral Home, 500 Prospect Road, Ashtabula.

Ida Evans
ASHTABULA - Ida Evans, 70, of Ashtabula, died Friday, Nov. 2, 2001, at Carington Park following a six year illness.
Services will be noon on Wednesday at the People Baptist Church, 3837 West Ave.
Burial will be in the Western Reserve Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Chesterland.
Calling hours will be from 10 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at the church.
Ducro Funeral Services and Crematory, 4524 Elm Ave., is in charge of funeral arrangements.

George Lazanis
ASHTABULA - George Lazanis, 76, of Runkle Avenue, died Friday, Nov. 2, 2001, at his home.
He was born Dec. 19, 1924, in Jefferson, the son of Mike and Eva (Ficki) Lazanis and had been a lifelong area resident.
Prior to his retirement as a hard goods supervisor in 1975, he worked 33 years for Goodwill Industries.
Mr. Lazanis was an accomplished upholsterer, an avid sports fan, and especially enjoyed the Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians.
Survivors include two sons, Gary of Ashtabula and Keith of North Kingsville; a daughter, Debra Lowe of Saybrook Township; four grandchildren, Chrystal and Daniel Lazanis and Elizabeth and Jennifer Hemminger; one great-grandson, Robert Snyder Jr.; and three brothers, Frank of Jefferson, John of Edgewater, Fla., and Charles of Colorado.
He was preceded in death by his former wife, Margaret (Nordquest); a brother, Mike and his parents.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at the Ducro Funeral Home, 4524 Elm Ave., Ashtabula, with the Rev. Kenneth Roberts, pastor of the Pentecostal Church of God, officiating.
Burial will be in Edgewood Cemetery.
Calling hours will be from 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.

Ford L. Noble
ASHTABULA - Ford L. Noble, 68, died Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2002, at the Hospice unit of Ashtabula County Medical Center.
He was born Oct. 20, 1934, in Ashtabula, the son of Orman and Jane (Ford) Noble and had lived in the Cleveland area most of his life.
He attended Ashtabula High School before moving to Louisville, Ky. After graduating from Ohio Weslyan University, he attended law school at Cornell University. He graduated from Cleveland Marshall Law School.
He was a member of the United States Marine Corps Reserves.
Prior to retirement, he operated the Noble and Associates law firm in Cleveland.
Survivors include four children, Lori Reihs of Medina, David Noble of Richfield Center, Kenneth Noble of Ashtabula, and Ryan Noble of Cleveland; two grandchildren, Lea and Sam Reihs; and a sister, Rebecca Connor of Rochester, N.Y.
He was preceded in death by his parents and second wife, Margie Noble.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Ridgewood United Methodist Church, 6330 Ridge Road, Parma. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Brookpark.
No calling hours will be observed.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family at 5837 S. Ridge Road East, Ashtabula, 44004.
Ducro Funeral Services and Crematory, 4524 Elm Ave., Ashtabula, is handling arrangements.

William Foster
ASHTABULA - William Foster, 72, of West 38th Street, died Saturday, June 1, 2002, at Ashtabula County Medical Center.
Mr. Foster was born Aug. 14, 1929, in Louisville, Miss., the son of Ed and Laura (Wells) Foster.
He had been an Ashtabula resident since 1967 after moving from Rochester, N.Y.
He retired from the Norfolk Southern-Nickel Plate-Norfolk Western Railroad on May 15, 1991, after 36 years of service.
A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he fought during the Korean Conflict.
Mr. Foster was a member of Peoples Baptist Church and was an excellent cook.
He enjoyed working at church, gardening and helping others.
Survivors include his wife, Nellie (Jackson), whom he married June 29, 1991; four sons, Eddie Foster of Riverside, Calif., Jeron Rogers-Foster of Shreveport, La., Jerry Foster of Rochester, N.Y., and Peter Foster of Louisville, Miss.; two daughters, Niyoker Foster-Smith and Micheko Foster-Wright, both of Rochester, N.Y.; six step-daughters, Florence Jones, Joette Wells and Marlene K. Nolan, all of Ashtabula, and Phyllis Baker, Diane Reynolds and Wanda Reynolds, all of Dayton; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Foster; step-son, George B. Reynolds; and his parents.
Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Peoples Baptist Church, 3837 West Avenue, Ashtabula, with the Rev. Louis F. Grandberry officiating.
Burial will be in Chestnut Grove Cemetery.
Calling hours are 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
Ducro Funeral Services and Crematory, 4524 Elm Ave., is handling the arrangements.
