Hazel B. Clark
ASHTABULA - Hazel B. Clark, 96, died Saturday, Sept. 23, 2000 at the Ashtabula County Nursing Home.
She was born September 26, 1903, the daughter of Freemont and Alice Cain Jackson.
She was a homemaker and member of the Lubeck United Methodist Church, and was active in many community and church affairs.
Survivors include her son, Ray E. Clark of Pierpont; three grandsons, Timothy Clark of Pierpont, David Clark of Orlando, Fla., and Edward Clark of Knoxville, Tenn.; and eight great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Frank E. Clark; brother Leslie Jackson; and two sisters Glenna Beckner and Garnet Simms.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Lambert-Tartman Funeral Home, Green St., Parkersburg, W.Va. The Rev. Greg Goodwin will officiate. Burial will be at the Lubeck Cemetery.
Calling hours will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Today at the funeral home.
Helen Andres Nieminen
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Helen Andres Nieminen, 83, died Saturday, Sept. 23, 2000 at Royal Manor Rest Home, West Palm Beach, Fla.
Born April 11, 1917 in Ashtabula, she was the daughter of Adam and Veronica Hammer Andres.
She married Edwin Nieminen June 8, 1940.
She was active in bowling and golf, and was a member of the Maple Ridge Golf League.
She is survived by three sisters, Estelle Canon of Ashtabula, Annette Kalister of Cleveland, and Mary Maziarz of Meadville, Pa.; two brothers, Frank Andres of Wellington, Fla., and John Andres of Escondido, Calif.
She is preceded in death by her husband.
Cremations services were provided by the Neptune Society of West Palm Beach, Fla.
Rita Grabski
ASHTABULA - Rita J. Grabski, 82, a resident of Ashtabula, died Thursday, July 24, 2003, in Carington Park Nursing Home.
Born on May 22, 1921 in Ashtabula, she was the daughter of Manuel and Mary (Smith) Rebera. For 15 years she lived in FL.
She worked for several years at Ashtabula Rubber where she was a Quality Controller.
A graduate of Ashtabula High School, she was also a member of Mother of Sorrows Church, the Altar and Rosary Society of the Church, and was a former Eucharistic Minister.
Survivors include a daughter, Elizabeth Grabski of Ashtabula; a son, Larry Grabski of Milwaukee; three grandchildren, Jennifer Dunlap, Rob Grabski, and Phil Grabski; a great grandchild, Hannah Dunlap; and two sisters, Teresa Silva of Euclid, and Betty Carberry of Ashtabula.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her ex-husband, Earl Grabski; seven brothers, John, Lawrence, Ernest, Joseph, Anthony, Raymond, and Robert Rebera; and two sisters, Irene Ray, and Sister Roselyn (Catherine Rebera).
Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. on Monday, July 28, 2003, in Mother of Sorrows Church, 1464 West 6th Street, Ashtabula, with burial to take place in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Friends may call at the GUERRIERO FUNERAL HOME, 1550 W. 19th Street in Ashtabula on Monday, July 28, 2003, from 9 to 10:30 a.m.

Dan W. Hare
ASHTABULA - Dan W. Hare, 32, of West 13th St. died Friday, July 25, 2003 from injuries sustained in a car accident.
Born February 26, 1971 in Ashtabula, he was the son of late Raymond Hare and Denise (McKain) Hanson. He has been an area resident all of his life.
He was a 1989 graduate of Harbor High School. He served in the U.S. Army during Desert Storm.
He belonged to Peoples Baptist Church on West Ave. He enjoyed wrestling, socializing with his friends, and was a certified scuba diver.
His survivors include his mother and step father, Denise and Kevin Hanson of Ashtabula; two children, Daniel and Ashley Hare, both of Ashtabula; one sister, Amy Hare of Ashtabula; a nephew, Isiah Hare and a niece Makenna Hare, both of Ashtabula; girl friend, Kerry Alleman of Ashtabula; maternal grandmother, Elsie McKain of Ashtabula; step-sister, Kassie Hanson and step-brother, Kyle Hanson, both of Geneva; half brother, Ray Hare of Cleveland; two half-sisters, Mary Omar and Cindy Omar, both of PA.
He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Hare; maternal grandfather James McKain; paternal grandparents, Ralph Hare and Lena Mitcham.

Service will be Monday July 28, 2003 at 8:00 PM at Ducro Funeral Home, 4524 Elm Ave., with Rev. Louis Grandberry, Pastor of Peoples Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be Tuesday July 29, 2003 at 1:00 PM at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, with Geneva VFW Post #6846 conducting military honors.

Ruth M. Kazmersky
ASHTABULA - Ruth M. Kazmersky, 78, a resident of Silver Sands living facility on Lake Avenue, died Tuesday, March 25, 2003, at the facility.
She was born July 8, 1924, in Cleveland, the daughter of Alfred and Helen (Schrader) Vejdovec.
Mrs. Kazmersky was a resident of Jefferson since 1954, coming from Cleveland.
She was a graduate of Garfield High School.
She married John "Lou" Kazmersky on June 29, 1946, at Holy Name Church in Cleveland.
Mrs. Kazmersky was a member of St. Joseph Calasanctius Church and enjoyed reading, traveling, playing cards and bingo.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews, including Karen M. Dewey of Andover, Diann Phillips of Chardon, and Janet R. Mortensen of Linesville, Pa., who were Mrs. Kazmersky's immediate caretakers.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lou, in 1994; and a brother, Robert Vejdovec.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. Friday at St. Joseph Calasanctius Church, 32 E. Jefferson St., Jefferson, with the Rev. Stephen Wassie, church pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery.

Rose Maouri
ASHTABULA - Rose Maouri, 82, died Wednesday, March 26, 2003, at UHHS Memorial Hospital of Geneva.
She was born April 13, 1920, in Ashtabula, to Carmello and Mary (Garafolo) DiPietro.
Mrs. Maouri worked at Fine Gage Knitwear in Ashtabula and was the receptionist at Rose's Beauty Salon. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Michael Maouri; three brothers, Joseph, Michael and Frank DiPietro; and a sister, Josephine Meola.
Funeral will be held at the convenience of the family.
The Guerriero Funeral Home, 1550 W. 19th St., Ashtabula, is handling the arrangements.
Sorianette Cotts
ASHTABULA - Sorianette Cotts, 3 months, died Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2002, at Ashtabula County Medical Center.
She was born June 17, 2002, in Ashtabula, to Fernando Cotts and Maricelis Colon Ramos.
Survivors include her parents, of Ashtabula; brothers Gilberto Marquez and Jose Ramos; a sister, Luz M. Ramos; maternal grandparents, Melvis Figueroa of Ashtabula and Ramon Colon of Puerto Rico; and paternal grandparents Zoraida Nieves and Ismael Cotts, both of Puerto Rico.
Service is 10 a.m. Saturday at Zaback-Czup Funeral Home, 500 W. Prospect Road, Ashtabula. The Rev. Pedro Hernandez, pastor of Pentecostal Missionary Church, will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Ashtabula.
Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
