Kathleen Lee Miller
ASHTABULA - Kathleen Lee Miller, 65, of West 6th St., died Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2000 at the Ashtabula County Medical Center.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Ducro Funeral Services and Crematory, 4524 Elm Ave., Ashtabula.
John "Red" Edwards
ASHTABULA - John "Red" Edwards, 79, of East 42nd Street, died Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2000, at the Ashtabula County Medical Center.
He was born Jan. 4, 1921, in Youngstown, the son of John and Ruth (Bott) Edwards and had been an Ashtabula resident since 1949.
Upon moving to Ashtabula, he purchased Lake City Plating, which he owned and operated until his retirement in 1982.
He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church.
A once active bowler and golfer, Mr. Edwards loved animals, especially dogs, cats and the squirrels that he fed in the back yard.
His survivors include his wife, Betty (Ernst), whom he married Aug. 3, 1942; a daughter, Pam Edwards of Ashtabula and a grandson, John Lewis.
He was preceded in death by a son, Mark Edwards and his parents.
A private service will be held at the family gravesite in Edgewood Cemetery. The Rev. Dr. Stephen R. Long, Pastor of First Presbyterian Church will officiate.

Edward Roy Dean Sr.
ASHTABULA - Edward Roy Dean Sr., 59, formerly of Main Avenue, died Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2000 at Carington Park nursing home.
He was born May 14, 1941, in Cleveland, the son of Casper Leo Sr. and Dorothy Mae (Ward) Dean and had been an Ashtabula resident for the past six years.
He previously worked as a tool and die maker, a carver and engraver for Kotecki Monuments, Cleveland, and as a security guard.
His survivors include two sons, William Thomas of Cleveland, and Edward Roy II of Parma; five grandchildren; his first wife, Ada of West Virginia; four sisters, Donna Dean of Windam, twins Carol McBrayer of Cleveland and Carolyn Griffin of Brooklyn, and Diane Spanulo of Parma; and companion, Carol-Lee Deitz of Ashtabula.
He was preceded in death by his second wife, Maurene (Brown); a brother, Casper Jr.; a sister, Shirley Dean; and his parents.
Service is 2 p.m. Saturday at the Salvation Army Chapel, 3527 Lake Ave., Ashtabula. Capt. Dennis Duffey will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmstead.
No calling hours will be observed.

Delta K. Baldwin
ASHTABULA - Delta K. Baldwin, 54, died Thursday, Nov. 23, 2000, at the Cleveland Clinic.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by the Zaback-Czup Funeral Home, 500 Prospect Road, Ashtabula.
Frank G. Spiller
ASHTABULA - Frank G. Spiller, 81, of Lake Road West, died Monday, July 22, 2002, at the Doctors West Hospital in Columbus.
He was born Oct. 21, 1920, in Cleveland, the son of Frank and Elizabeth (Szucs) Spiller. He served 22 years in the Army, some during World War II as a 2nd lieutenant colonel.
On Jan. 15, 1951, he married Mildred Suntala.
Mr. Spiller received a bachelor's degree from Cleveland State and his masters from Case Western Reserve. After his service in the Army he worked for McKee Co. for 34 years as a civil engineer, retiring in 1985.
He was a member of Austinburg First Church of Christ where he sang in the choir.
Survivors include his son, George E. of Rome, Ga.; two daughters, Anita I. Hugh of Virginia Beach, Va. and Elisa R. Kenny of Marengo; and five grandchildren, Kari, Michelle, Averie, Sanna and Artea.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife in January of 2001; and a sister, Irene Pribula.
Service is 11 a.m. Saturday at the Ross-Billman Funeral Home, 526 W. Prospect Road, Ashtabula, with the Rev. Gretchen Wagner of the Austinburg First Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be at Saybrook Township Cemetery.
Calling hours are one hour prior to the service, at 10 a.m. Saturday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Austinburg First Church of Christ. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
Martha Luther
ASHTABULA - Martha J. Luther, 82, of East 16th Street, died Monday, July 22, 2002, at the Hospice Unit of Ashtabula County Medical Center.
She was born Oct. 20, 1919, in Wise County, Va., the daughter of Henry and Nona (Hunt) Brummitt and had been an Ashtabula resident since 1953.
Prior to her retirement in 1975, she worked as a housekeeping supervisor at ACMC for seven years. She previously worked 13 years for George's Greenhouse.
Mrs. Luther was a member of the Pentecostal Church of God and enjoyed her family, gardening and the Lord.
Survivors include three daughters, Norma Fogleman of Coeburn, Va., and Phyllis Bartone and Judy Bartone, both of Ashtabula; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Carolyn, in infancy; a granddaughter, Kathy Eastlake; four brothers, Charlie, Claude, William and Lawrence Brummitt; and four sisters, Mary Luther, Velma Kaiser, Bertha Brummitt and Florence Brummitt in infancy.
Service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the Pentecostal Church of God, 2201 Cook Road, with the Rev. Kenneth Roberts officiating. Burial will be in Saybrook Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the church.
Memorials may be made to the Pentecostal Church of God Building fund.

Charlotte Ziegler
ASHTABULA - Charlotte Ziegler, 81, of Eureka Road, died Thursday, Aug. 29, 2002, at her home.
Born Feb. 18, 1921, in Yorkshire, N.Y., she was the daughter of John Paul and Nina (Davis) Wiedemann.
She was an avid bird watcher and enjoyed crocheting.
Survivors include two sons, Rodney and Bradley Mabb, both of California.; three daughters, Tracy West of Ashtabula, JoDell Sullivan of Illinois, and JoAnne Sutton of Florida; two brothers, Harold Wiedemann of Pennsylvania and Millard Wiedemann of Calif.; a sister, William Jean Seleska of Georgia; and three grandchildren, Sara and Shawn Mabb and Michael West.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Ziegler, and four brothers, Gerald, Wayne, Vern and Gordon Wiedemann.
A service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Ashtabula County.
