Clarence A. Stuber, Jr.
ASHTABULA - Clarence Albert Stuber, Jr., 64, of East 38th Street died Thursday, January 5, 2012 at his home.
He was born September 24, 1947 in Akron, the son of Clarence A. Stuber, Sr. and Freda Mae (Capian) Stuber.
A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he served during the Vietnam War.
He belonged to the Pentecostal Church of God and Satan's Syndicate Motorcycle Club and with them found many friends to support him and accept him for who he was in spite of his difficult past.
His survivors include a brother, John Stuber of Massillon, and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Stuber as a teenager, and his parents.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, January 23, 2012 from 6 to 7 PM with memorial service at 7 PM at the Pentecostal Church of God, 2201 Cook Road, Ashtabula with full military honors (if possible). Rev. Kenneth Roberts, Pastor will officiate. Burial will in Greenlawn Memory Gardens Veteran's Garden of Honor 10 AM Tuesday, January 24, 2012.
Contributions may be made in his memory to the Pentecostal Church of God.

Betty R. Whitlock
ASHTABULA - Betty Rea Whitlock, 71, died Friday, January 20, 2012 at the Cleveland Clinic.
One of ten children she was born on May 3, 1940 in Floyd County Kentucky, the daughter of Matt and Ada (Stumbo) Moore.
She married her husband, Carl C. Whitlock, Jr. on June 2, 1962 and were long –time Ashtabula residents
Betty loved to read, she never met a book she did not enjoy, she liked many authors, but her favorite was V.C. Andrews. When you went to Betty and Carl’s home you always felt welcome, whether you smelled the wonderful cornbread muffins, chicken and dumplings or those delicious pinto beans you always knew you were welcome sit down and eat. Betty liked a clean house, she really enjoyed ironing for her family and making sure they looked just right. At one time or another friends of her children had their white tennis shoes washed by Betty. They all said their neighborhood had the whitest shoes on the block. Betty was a wonderful wife, mom, grandma, and friend. She will be missed for strength and dignity, her grace and courage, and her deep devotion to her family.
She is survived by her husband of forty-nine years, Carl C, Whitlock, Jr., her children, Tony (Lori) Whitlock of Florida, Kenneth M. (Sandra) Whitlock, Bruce (Jackie) Whitlock, Patricia (Jeffrey) Stasny, all of Ashtabula, and Carl C. (Christine) Whitlock, III of Missouri; nine grandchildren; her sister, Elma Hall and twin sister, Elvie Moore and her brothers, Harold and Rufus Moore; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, Joshua Fleckenstein in 2008, her son Roy Gene King, in 1990 her siblings, Beverage, Judy, Erma, Clova, and Willie Moore, and her parents.
A funeral service will be held on Monday January 23, 2012 at 7: PM at the Zaback-Ducro Funeral Home, 500 West Prospect Road, Ashtabula, Ohio, with Rev. Scott Hamilton, Pastor of the Lily of the Valley, officiating. Burial will be in Saybrook Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held from 4PM to 7PM at the funeral home until time of service.

ASHTABULA - Mabel I. Keyes, age 86, of Lakeview Towers, Ashtabula, OH, died Monday, December 6, 2004, at the Ashtabula County Nursing Home in Kingsville.
She was born October 19, 1918 in Conneaut, OH, the daughter of Harvey and Blanche (Johnson) Baldwin.
At the request of the family there will be no services.
