Veva I. Frazier
WILLIAMSFIELD TOWNSHIP - Veva I. Frazier, 63, of Slater Road West, died Tuesday, April 10, 2001, at Miller Memorial Health Care Center, Andover.
She was born Oct. 4, 1937, in Springfield, Pa., the daughter of Cyril and Lola May (Humphrey) Frazier, and was a lifelong Andover area resident.
She was a 1955 graduate of Williamsfield High School, and was a homemaker. She enjoyed crafts, fishing, family picnics and following her grandchildren's sports activities.
Survivors include three daughters, Tracie (Overly) Landis of Williamsfield Township, Stacie (Overly) Bowers of Fairport Harbor, and Betsie Overly of Andover; a stepbrother, Guy Swezey, and stepsister, Jannette Lipani, both of California; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepfather, "Brick" Swift; a sister, Mary Ellen Flack; and a stepbrother, Clifford Swezey.
Service is 11 a.m. today at the Baumgardner Funeral Home, 134 Prospect St., Andover. Burial of cremated remains will be at Williamsfield Center Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

William J. Gould
WILLIAMSFIELD TOWNSHIP - William "Bill" Joseph Gould Sr., 79, died Sunday, July 21, 2002.
He was born Oct. 21, 1922, in Collier, Pa., the son of Charles L. and Eva L. (Paull) Gould.
A longtime Williamsfield area resident, Mr. Gould was a coal miner for many years in Uniontown, Pa. and later worked for the former Greenville Steel Car Co. for over 20 years, retiring in 1984. He was a World War II veteran, having served in the U.S. Army's 408th Utility Engineers in the Pacific Theater campaign.
He married his wife, Mary Ann (Norcini) May 19, 1942, and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Survivors include his wife of Williamsfield; three sons, William J. Gould Jr. of Clearwater, Fla., Larry J. Gould of Jamestown, Pa., Harold L. Gould of Clearwater, Fla., and Jody A. Gould of Poland; one daughter, Jacqueline E. Hollis of Williamsfield; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Harold and Robert; one sister, Elsie Stickel; and a grandson, Christopher Gould.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Mr. Gould will be cremated.

Jeanette M. Eckerfield
WILLIAMSFIELD TOWNSHIP - Jeanette M. Eckerfield, 75, died Monday, Nov. 20, 2000, at her South Lake Road home.
Born Feb. 22, 1924, in North Royalton, she was a daughter of Paul and Caroline (Hardluck) Burda and had ived in the Andover area for the past 35 years, coming from Cleveland.
She was a homemaker and also worked for a number of years as a waitress at the VIP dining room at Republic Steel Corp., Cleveland.
She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Church, Andover, where she was active in the Altar and Rosary Society.
Mrs. Eckerfield was an avid fisherwoman.
She is survived by two sons, William P. of Parma and Roger of Mantua; six granddaughters and five great-grandchildren.
Her husband, "Butch" preceded her in death on May 19, 1994. She also was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Sophie Aust and Pauline Suchina; and four brothers, Casey, Benny, John and Walter Burda.
Funeral mass is 10 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Victory Church, 481 S. Main St., Andover, with the Rev. Larry E. Frient officiating. Burial will be in Williamsfield Center Cemetery.
Calling hours are 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 134 Prospect St., Andover.

Elsie A. Mosser
WILLIAMSFIELD TOWNSHIP - Elsie A. Mosser, 74, of Lake Road South, died Saturday, July 27, 2002, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital, Warren.
She was born March 6, 1928, in Steadman, N.Y., the daughter of Samuel and Iva (Coleman) Houghton. She married her husband, R.C. Mosser on Oct. 28, 1947.
A longtime Ashtabula county resident, Mrs. Mosser was a homemaker and also was employed for a number of years at several local industries including Ashtabula Rubber Co.; Sanborn Wire Products, Rock Creek; and the former General Electric plant in Andover, from which she retired in 1984.
She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and making afghans for family members.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Leonard M. of Newbury Township and Ray of Dorset Township; a daughter, Rosemarie Stemler of Belfonte, Pa.; five grandchildren, Tammy Peck, Donna Priem, Angela Kypriotis, Chief Mosser of Enon and Jason Warner; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Matthew Salrin; a sister, Mary Hunt; and five brothers, Guy, Dick, Howard, Francis and Leonard Houghton.
Service is 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Baumgardner Funeral Home, 134 Prospect St., Andover, with the Rev. Ronald Houghton, a family member, pastor of God's Country Chapel, Clymer, N.Y., officiating. Burial will follow in Williamsfield Center Cemetery.
Calling hours are 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Raymond C. “YoYo” Mosser
WILLIAMSFIELD – Raymond C. “YoYo” Mosser, 76, died Wednesday, June 2, 2004 at Austinburg Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Born July 28, 1927 in Wick, West Virginia he was the son of the late Harley and Hatti (McCune) Flecther Mosser.
Formerly of Windsor, Mr. Mosser was a Williamsfield resident since 1962.
Mr. Mosser was a crane operator for New York Central Railroad for 19 years. From 1965 to 1970, he owned and operated Mosser’s Boat Landing at Pymatuning Lake. He also owned Mosser’s Coal & Trucking; and from 1980 to the present he owned and operated Mosser’s Boat Storage and Canvas Shop.
Mr. Mosser was the 2nd shift Maintenance Supervisor at the Ashtabula Joint Vocational School for almost 20 years.
Mr. Mosser served in the United States Army at the end of World War II.
He was instrumental in starting the Little League and Pony League in Windsor.
He enjoyed fishing, playing hearts and pinochle, pool, checkers, and also loved cats, dogs and feeding the wild birds.
Mr. Mosser married Elsie A. Houghton on Oct. 11, 1947. She died on July 27, 2002.
Along with his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, and a grandchildren Matthew Salrin.
Survivors include sons, Leonard (Neva) Mosser of Newbury and Ray (Joyce) Mosser of Jefferson; daughter Rose Marie (Bob) Stemler of Howard, Pa.; grandchildren Tammy, Donna, Angela Chief and Jason; great grandchildren Harleigh, Clinton and Tyler, step brothers Cliff Baker of Warren and Leroy Baker of Greenville, Pa.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 7 at 11 a.m. at BAUMGARDNER FUNERAL HOME, 134 Prospect Street, Andover with the Rev. Jeffrey W. Stoll officiating.
Burial will follow in Williamsfield Cemetery.
Calling Hours will be held on Sunday, June 6 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Kenneth R. Bailey

WILLIAMSFIELD - Kenneth Richard Bailey, age 83, of Williamsfield, Ohio, died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2007, at St. Joseph Medical Center in Andover, Ohio.
He was born August 15, 1924 in Youngstown, Ohio, to Arthur Townsend Bailey and Amy Caroline (Treat) Bailey. A resident of Williamsfield for the past three years, Mr. Bailey was formerly of New Jersey. He was a graduate of South High School in Youngstown, and attended Ohio State University.
Mr. Bailey was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1943 and was transferred to The Office of Strategic Services (OSS), which was a predecessor of the CIA. He served in the OSS as a company clerk at camps in Africa, Italy, and France. He worked various clerical jobs, but considered himself a writer. Mr. Bailey wrote several unpublished novels and short stories.
Mr. Bailey is preceded in death by his parents and one older brother, Robert Townsend Bailey.
He is survived by his brother, Randal Bailey of San Diego, Calif.; two nieces, Virginia Rae Bailey of Elkton, Md., and Margaret Ellen Bailey of Indian Hills, Colo.; and two nephews, Arthur Emery Bailey of Bethel, Conn., and James Edward Bailey of Albuquerque, N.M.
