WILLIAMSFIELD - Marian A. Spengler, age 90, died Saturday, Sept. 22, 2007, in Warren, Ohio.
She was born on March 25, 1917 in Wayne, Ohio, the daughter of Guy and Blanch (Root) Miner. Mrs. Spengler was a 1936 graduate of Wayne High School.
A longtime area resident, Mrs. Spengler was a resident of Largo, Fla., where she was employed for Suncoast Hospital for over ten years. While in Florida, she was a member of the Indian Rock Baptist Church in Largo.
Mrs. Spengler was employed by GE of Andover for many years and was a former member of the Wayne Congregational Church and the Wayne Historical Society.
She enjoyed volunteering for the church and spending time reading.
Survivors include two daughters, Joyce and husband, Harold Singrey, of Williamsfield, Ohio, and Nancy and husband, Richard Kreitling, of Bovey, Minn.; two sons, David Gillespie and Darl Foltz, both of Bell, Fla.; sister-in-law, Florence Spengler of Cincinnati, Ohio; 10 grandchildren, Pam, Debbie, John, Bill, Heidi, Dawn-Marie, Debra, Steven, Brian and Jason; 21 great-grandchildren; and special friends, Frank and Beth Landrum of Lawton, Okla.
Mrs. Spengler is preceded in death by her parents; her grandson, Mitchell E. Singrey; an infant brother; a brother, Lyle Miner; a sister, Louise Fillmore; and daughter-in-law, Carol Gillespie.

A Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 28, 2007, at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 8569 Main St., Kinsman, Ohio, with Pastor Pat D. Seger officiating. Burial will follow in Hayes Cemetery in Wayne, Ohio.
Calling Hours will be held on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the Funeral Home.

Richard W. Haas
WILLIAMSFIELD - Richard W. Haas, 48, of Mill Street, died Monday, April 21, 2003, at St. Joseph Medical Center, Andover. Calling hours will be held at the Baumgardner Funeral Home, 134 Prospect St., Andover, from 3 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 23, 2003. No services will be held. Cremation will follow calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home.
Betty B. Wagner
SAYBROOK TOWNSHIP - Betty Bean Wagner, 59, of Elmwood Drive died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2002, at her home.
She was born Aug. 27, 1942, in Ashtabula, the daughter of Harry and Nancy (Cottonaro) Deligianis.
A lifelong area resident, Mrs. Wagner was a 1960 graduate of Ashtabula High School. She was employed as benefits coordinator with Ashtabula County Medical Center and previously worked at Society Bank and with Saybrook Township.
Mrs. Wagner was a member of Saybrook United Methodist Church and the Garden Trails Garden Club of Ashtabula. She enjoyed traveling, antiques, interior decorating, cooking and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her mother of Ashtabula; her husband, Robert, whom she married Oct. 26, 1996; two sons, Craig Bean of Plymouth Township and Jason Bean of Jefferson; three stepdaughters, Renee Dragon and Cheryl Stitt of Ashtabula and Sandra Wagner of Las Vegas, Nev.; 10 grandchildren; two brothers, Nick and John Deligianis of Ashtabula; and two sisters, Kathy Hickey of New York City and Sandy Sposito of Ashtabula.
She was preceded in death by her father and her first husband, Roy G. Bean in 1990.
Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Saybrook United Methodist Church, 7900 Depot Road, with the Rev. Donna VanTrees officiating. Burial will be in Saybrook Township Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 6 to 9 p.m. today at the Ross-Billman Funeral Home, 526 Prospect Road, Ashtabula.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Saybrook United Methodist Church or to Hope Lodge of Cleveland. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
Steve D. Corbissero
SAYBROOK TWP. - Steve D. Corbissero, 94, died Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2000, in Ashtabula County Medical Center.
He is survived by his sisters: Rachel Grabowski of Ashtabula and Mary Kistler of Warren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary (Ruuska); his brothers: Carmen, Frank, Mike and Harry, and a longtime companion, Geneva Goodiel.
Zaback-Czup Funeral Home, 500 Prospect Road, is handling the arrangements.
Joseph D. Miller
SAYBROOK TOWNSHIP - Joseph D. Miller, 59, died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2001, in Ashtabula County Medical Center.
He was born Jan. 5, 1942, in Ashtabula, the son of Joseph D. and Betty (Karam) Miller.
He graduated from St. John High School in 1959 and received his bachelor’s degree from Kent State University. Mr. Miller also attended the St. John’s Seminary for six years, where he studied to be a priest.
He was presently employed as president of the JM Communications Co., which was a food and beverage reporting company based in Chicago, Ill. Before that he worked for almost 20 years for Ponton Publishing in Cleveland, as the editor. Mr. Miller also worked as a religion and journalism teacher at St. John High School.
He was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Church, was lector, Eucharist Minister and CCD instructor for the church. Mr. Miller volunteered in Mentor for several years as a director of the Mentor Children’s Theater.
He enjoyed the times spent with his wife, his two cats “Peaches” and “Cream, ” and listening to Christian music.
Survivors include his wife, Mois (Domugho), whom he married on Nov. 6, 1990, in the Archbishop’s Palace in Cebu City, Philippines.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother in infancy.
Services will be 11 a.m. on Tuesday in the St. Joseph Catholic Church, 3330 Lake Ave., with the Rev. Philip Miller officiating.
Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Saybrook Township.
Calling hours will be from 9 to 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday in the Zaback-Czup Funeral Home, 500 Prospect Road, Ashtabula.

Elton J. O'Connor
SAYBROOK TOWNSHIP - Elton J. O'Connor, 88, of Saybrook Township, died Thursday, Oct. 3, 2002, at the Hospice unit at Ashtabula County Medical Center.
He was born Sept. 16, 1914, in Youngstown, the son of Edward E. and Florence E. (Jackson) O'Connor. He had lived in Saybrook since 1980, moving there from Harrisville, Pa., where he had spent 30 years.
He was a lay leader and sang in the choir at the Saybrook United Methodist Church, where he was a member. He was also involved in the lake church service at Township Park. He was a 50-year-plus member of the Western Star 21 F&AM of Youngstown.
He also received recognition for his volunteer work around Saybrook and in the Hallwood Park Association, where he lived with his wife, Monna.
Survivors include his wife, Monna Mansfield Light, whom he married on Sept. 17, 1994; a brother, Ford J. O'Connor of Girard; three stepchildren, Robert Light of Perry, Michael Light of Durham, Conn., and Betty Barchanowicz of Jefferson; 10 step-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Vivian Hogue, whom he married in August 1940; two brothers, Phil and Ted O'Connor; and three sisters, Beulah Mentzer, Dolly Wimberly and Edna Baun.
Service is 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Saybrook United Methodist Church. The Revs. Donna VanTrees and Joseph Platt will officiate.
Graveside service will be 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Lake Park Cemetery in Youngstown. Calling hours are 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Ross-Billman Funeral Home, 526 W. Prospect Road, Ashtabula.

John J. Lamm
SAYBROOK TOWNSHIP John Joseph Lamm 81, died Wednesday, April 4, 2001, at Ashtabula County Medical Center after a sudden illness.
He was born Dec. 30, 1919, in Ashtabula, the son of Cosmas and Laura (DiDonato) Lamm.
Mr. Lamm was a graduate of Ashtabula High School in 1937. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Air Force Division. A staff sergeant he was with the 871st Bombardment Squadron and 497th Bombardment Group in the Pacific Theater.
He was a graduate of American Gentleman Cutting and Designing School of New York City in 1948. For 39 years he was a partner with his father in law Turk the Tailor. After completing a computer course in Erie he worked for 15 years at Rockwell International Brake Division as a lead computer operator. He retired from Rockwell in 1982.
Mr. Lamm was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church and Altar and Rosary Society. He was very active with the church. On Wednesday evenings he volunteered his services for the weekly bingo and during the summer he helped out with the annual church festival.
He was a past president of Ss. John High School Booster Club, a former council member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church and was a trustee for Catholic Charities.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years the former Dolores Prisco; a son, Gerald Lamm of Concord; three daughters, Diane Ashley, Karen Umholtz and Roberta Best, all of Ashtabula; 12 grandchildren, Lorie, Riley, Amy, Krislie and John Lamm, Chris and Julie Silva, Bradley, Gregory and Stephen Best, and Justin, Matthew and Ashely Umholtz; and two sisters, Florence Prisco and Lucille Lamm, both of Ashtabula.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Jon; and a brother, Anthony.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church with burial to take place in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Guerriero Funeral Home, 1550 W. 19th St., Ashtabula.
Memorial contributions can be made in Mr. Lamm's name to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.
Dorothy A. Lehto
SAYBROOK TOWNSHIP - Dorothy A. Lehto, 79, of Sanborn Road, died Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2003, at her home.
She was born Nov., 19, 1923 in Ashtabula, the daughter of Capt. James and Selma (Herttua) Diamond.
Mrs. Lehto was a lifelong resident of Ashtabula and graduated from Harbor High School in 1941.
She married Oliver E. Jan. 28, 1943 and was a homemaker.
Mrs. Lehto was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church and enjoyed baking, cooking and getting together with her high school classmates.
She enjoyed taking care of others, including the animals.
Survivors include her husband, Oliver; and three children, Barry of Salt Lake City, Michael of Cleveland and Kathleen Kister of Conneaut.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, James Diamond.
Services will be 3 p.m. today at Bethany Lutheran Church, 933 Michigan Ave., Ashtabula, with the Rev. Richard Bowen officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Bethany Lutheran Church or to Hospice of Ashtabula County.
Envelopes will be available at the church.
