Edith E. Myers, age 81, of Norwalk, died Monday, August 20, 2007 at her residence in Norwalk.
She was born September 30, 1925 in Huron and was a graduate of Huron High School. She received her nursing degree from Providence Hospital School of Nursing in Sandusky. She retired after 30 years of service at Providence Hospital and Fisher-Titus Medical Center.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, John (Linda) Myers of Monroeville, Joe (Susan) Myers of Norwalk, Jed (Carol) Myers of Farmingville, NY and Jerry Myers of Chicago, IL; four grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and a sister, Margaret Ann Jablonski.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Myers in 1997; parents, John and Margaret McCormick; and her brothers and sisters.
Friends may call on Friday from 10:00 - 11:00 A.M., where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. in St. Joseph Catholic Church, 66 Chapel Street, Monroeville. The Rev. Kenneth Lill, pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Pauline O'Donnell
August 22, 2007
Pauline Clara O’Donnell, age 83, of Norwalk, died Wednesday morning, August 22, 2007 at Fisher Titus Medical Center in Norwalk.
She was born December 21, 1923 in Peru Township, OH. She was a graduate of Monroeville High School and early in her life worked at Rotary Printing. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Norwalk and it’s Rosary & Altar Society and was a lifetime member of the Firelands Genealogy Society. She enjoyed traveling and latch working.
She is survived by her son, Jim (Holly) O’Donnell of St. Anne, Illinois; granddaughter, Heather (Paul) McCormick of Columbus, OH; grandson, Sean O’Donnell of St. Louis, MO; an aunt, Rosalyn Wise of Norwalk and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Robert F. O’Donnell in 1998; her parents, Walter and Clara (Schaffer) Hauler; her brothers, Leonard Hauler and Clifford Hauler.
Friends may call on Friday from 6 - 8 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk, where a wake service will be held at 7:00 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 10:30 A.M. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 38 W. League Street, Norwalk, OH. The Rev. Frank Speier, pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.

Thomas H. Beese
August 23, 2007
Thomas H. Beese, Sr, age 71, of Norwalk, died Thursday, August 23, 2007 at Fisher-Titus Medical Center in Norwalk after an extended illness.
He was born June 29, 1936 in Sandusky, OH. In his early years, he was a driver for Singler Bus & Cab Company in Sandusky. He then became a custodian at the Ohio Veterans Home in Sandusky. He retired in the early 1990s as a custodian and driver for S.S. Industries Erie County Board of MRDD. He was a member of the New London Church of Christ. He enjoyed gardening, the outdoors and raising livestock.
He is survived by his wife, Marian L. Beese of Norwalk; his son, Tom Beese, Jr. of Norwalk; sisters, Lucille (Kenneth) Lippert of Sandusky, Linda Beese of Collins; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents Amelia (Hartlaub) Martens and Harry Beese; sisters, Selma Meyers and Mae Nutzki; brothers, Leon Beese, William Schoewe and Gabriel Martens.
Friends may call on Monday from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk, where a service will be held at 1:00 P.M. in the funeral home. Pastor Charles Mead of New London Church of Christ will officiate. Burial will follow at the Milan Cemetery.

Ralph C. Jackson
August 23, 2007
Ralph C. Jackson, age 90, of Norwalk, died Thursday, August 23, 2007 at Fisher-Titus Medical Center in Norwalk after a brief illness.
He was born June 4, 1917 in Topeka, Kansas. From 1940 – 1952, he was in a band as a drummer in Holton, Kansas. He relocated to Norwalk in 1955. He drove ambulance for four years and owned Double J Vending for 32 years. He also was an auxiliary meter man in Norwalk and served as a Norwalk Police Officer for 25 years. In 1970, he joined the Norwalk Lion’s Club as a life member. He was also a member of the Norwalk Moose Lodge 1248, the Norwalk I.O.O.F. and the Norwalk Eagles Aerie 711.
He is survived by his sons and daughter-in-law, Reggienald Jackson of Norwalk and Garold “Gary” and Gale Jackson of Willard; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Bessie “Bette” A. Jackson on February 15, 1996, his parents, Cecil and Ruth Jackson; his two brothers, Wayne Jackson and William Jackson and sister Betty Allen.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 5 – 8 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. A service will be held Wednesday at 1:00 P.M. in the funeral home. Rev. Fred Wiechers, pastor of St. Peter Lutheran Church, will officiate. A private interment will be held at a later date at Meadow Green Memorial Park in Huron.

Maxine Nusser
September 8, 2007
N. Maxine Nusser, age 78, formerly of Norwalk and now Homestead, Florida, died Saturday, September 08, 2007 at Baptist Hospital in Miami, FL.
She was born July 31, 1929 in Nortonville, Kansas. She and her husband, W. Gene Nusser, were the original owners of the Comet Cleaners in Norwalk as well as Colony Cleaners in Huron. She enjoyed playing solitaire, cards and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her four sons, Steve Nusser of Coral Gables, Florida, Gary Nusser of Mesa, Arizona, Michael Nusser of Surprise, Arizona and Gregg Nusser of Phoenix, Arizona; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, W. Gene Nusser in 2005; parents, William and Ethel (Perkins) Allan; sisters, Marjorie and Winona; and brothers, Charles and Wayne.
Friends may call on Saturday, September 15th, from 10:30 until 11:00 A.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. A graveside service will be held 11:30 A.M. Saturday at Woodlawn Cemetery with Rev. Fred Wiechers officiating.

Leon A. Bores
September 14, 2007
Leon Albin Bores, age 80, of Norwalk, died Friday evening, September 14, 2007 at Twilight Gardens Home in Norwalk.
He was born June 14, 1927 in Peru Township and was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. He was the owner and operator of Bores Excavating from 1954 until 1988. He then moved to Ligonier, Indiana and moved back to the Norwalk area in 2000.
He is survived by his son, Robert “Butch” (Tammy) Bores of Norwalk; daughters, Donna (Tim) Wallace, Sharon (Larry) Perry, Elaine (Butch) Spaulding and Leona “Tuti” Robbins of Syracuse, Indiana; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; three brothers, Charles “Chuck” Bores, Eugene Bores and Willard “Willie” Bores, all of Norwalk.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Eileen M. (Barman) Bores in 2000; parents, Leo J. Bores and Irene (Wilhelm) Bores; sisters, Lucinda “Cindy” and Florence Sprowl.
Friends may call on Monday from 5 – 7 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. A funeral service will be Tuesday at 10:30 A.M. in the funeral home. The Rev. Kenneth Lill will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Alphonsus Catholic Cemetery.

Etta Schueler
October 2, 2007
Etta F. Schueler, age 66, of Norwalk, died Tuesday, October 02, 2007 at the Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky.
She was born September 20, 1941 in Sand Gap, Kentucky. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Norwalk and worked many years at the former West Baking Company and Pepperidge Farms. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, gardening and home decorating.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Fred Schueler of Norwalk, daughter, Trish (Brian) Otto of Berlin Heights; sons, Frederick (Gina) Schueler of Hamilton and Timothy (Ang) Schueler of Berlin Heights, daughter-in-law, Blyndia Nickels of Collins; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; sisters, Juanita (Robert “Bobby”) Schenk of Hamilton, Wilma Bowling of Norwalk, and Brenda (Richard) Harris of Hamilton; brother, Sherman (Miche) Tincher of Hamilton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, David Schueler in 1986; parents, Fred and Maria (Durham) Tincher; sister, Linda Garrison; and a brother-in-law, Jerry Bowling.
Friends may call Thursday from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday in the funeral home. The Rev. Paul D. Cheryl Breitigan, age 54, of Norwalk, died unexpectedly Friday, October 05, 2007 at her residence.
She was born December 27, 1952 in Norwalk and was a graduate of Norwalk High School. She worked 24 years at Fanny Farmers and was a clerk at the Norwalk Reflector in advertising. She was a member of the Milan Baptist Church, and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Paul T. Breitigan of Norwalk; son, Shane M. Breitigan of Lexington, Oklahoma; daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie M. and Joe Modic of Norwalk; brothers, Robert E. (Sue) O’Dell of New London, William O’Dell of Monroeville, Jeffrey O’Dell of Norwalk and Scott O’Dell of Norwalk; four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded by her parents, Betty (O’Dell) Peterson in 2007 and Robert W. O’Dell in 1986.

John T. Holtz Jr

John T. Holtz Jr, age 63, of Norwalk, died Thursday, October 11, 2007 at Briarfield of Milan, after an extended illness.
He was born April 28, 1944 in Mt. Savage, Maryland and moved with his family to Pittsburgh, PA then to Norwalk, OH in the mid 1950's. He enjoyed spending time with friends and his family.
He is survived by his brothers, Max Holtz, Dan (Kathy) Holtz and Mark Holtz, all of Norwalk; sisters, Marlene (Doug) Duffield of Monroeville, Nena (Fred) Smith of Norwalk and Deborah (Thomas) Ranney of Altaloma, CA; nieces and
nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John T. and Jean A. (Brennan) Holtz.
Friends may call on Sunday from 7 to 9 P.M. at the Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Avenue, Frostburg, Maryland. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 10 a.m. with Father Ty Hullinger as celebrant. Burial will follow at Saint Patrick's Cemetery, Mount Savage.

Patricia Ann Rogers, age 59, of Collins, died Sunday, October 14, 2007 at Fisher-Titus Medical Center in Norwalk.
She was born October 13, 1948 in Athens, Ohio. She lived in Lorain for many years and moved to Collins in 1974. She enjoyed a variety of crafts, landscaping her yard, and taking care of her fishpond.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, William Rogers Sr. of Collins; daughter, Teresa (Rick) Stevenson of Collins, sons, William (Peyton Barnett) Rogers Jr. of Norwalk and Bryan (Vicki) Rogers of Wakeman; seven grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews; brothers, Leroy and Tom Brooks; sisters, Jean (Cecile) LeMasters, Gloria Brooks and Deborah Coleman.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Kenneth Brooks and Isabel (Winchell) Brooks; brothers, Kenneth and Fred Brooks
