Giulio T. Ricciuti, age 50, of Norwalk, died unexpectedly Sunday, October 14, 2007 at his home in Norwalk.
He was born April 27, 1957 in Detroit, MI. He worked at Wasiniak Construction in Norwalk.
He is survived by his father, Antonio Riccuiti; lovingly remembered by his sisters, Amy (Barry) Gray, Marie (David) Kenel; brothers, Rick (Sue) Ricciuti and Tony Ricciuti; niece, Sarah Ricciuti; nephews, Paul Ricciuti and Joshua Kenel, all of Canada.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Ricciuti and step-mother, Miria Ricciuti.
Friends may call on Thursday from 7 – 9 P.M. at the EVANS FUNERAL HOME, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk.

Vivian Eastman

Vivian P. Eastman, age 78, of Norwalk, died Sunday morning, October 28, 2007 at home with her family at her side.
She was born May 2, 1929 in Shiloh, and was a graduate of Shelby High School. She worked as a nursing assistant at Norwalk Memorial Home, Maravian Villa and the Gaymont Nursing Center. She was a member of the American Legion Post 706 Auxiliary in North Fairfield and attended St. Mary Catholic Church in Norwalk. She enjoyed reading, baking and watching television and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Burdette Eastman of Norwalk; her daughters, Marlene (Steven) Griggs of Milan, and Susan (Norman) Clouse of Wakeman; her sons, Gary (Nancy) Eastman of New Washington, John (Karen) Eastman of Willard, Richard Eastman of Willard and Jeff (Brenda) Eastman of Norwalk, OH; her sister, Mary Oney of Shelby, OH; 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Grover and Mary Catherine Travis; her brother William Travis; a brother and sister in infancy two grandchildren, Christopher Eastman and Michelle Clouse.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. at Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. The Rev. Francis J. Speier, pastor of St. Mary Catholic Church, will officiate. Private interment will be at a later date in North Fairfield Cemetery.

Vivian M. (Towne) Gerten, age 84, formerly of Norwalk and residing in Toledo, died Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at her residence.
She was born January 1, 1923 in Tiffin, OH. She lived in Norwalk for over 45 years and recently relocated to Toledo with her daughter. She worked as a counselor at the Sandusky Ohio Veteran’s Home, retiring in 1996, and was a past member of the Christian Women’s Club.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Hartman of Toledo; her sister, Mary Helen Towne of Huntingon, West Virginia; her granddaughter, Michelle Lutz of Waterville, OH; her grandson, Robert Hartman of Toledo; her great-granddaughter, Amber Lutz of Waterville, OH; her great-grandson, Aaron Hartman of Waterville, OH; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rudy Gerten; her parents, Charles and Stella Towne; her son, Michael Allen Gerten in 1981;her son-in-law, Robert Hartman in 1997; her brothers, Robert Towne, Paul Towne and Patrick Towne.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. in the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. The Rev. Kenneth Lill, pastor of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, will officiate. Interment will follow at St. Alphonsus Catholic Cemetery in Norwalk.

Faye E. (Delamater) McCreary, age 82, of Norwalk, died Thursday morning, November 1, 2007 at her residence in Norwalk.
She was born October 28, 1925 in Milan, OH. She was a 1944 Milan High School graduate. She worked in several local manufacturing plants, Norwalk Park & Recreation Department and also worked at Citizens Banking Company in the loan department. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Norwalk. She enjoyed crafts, sporting events and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Barb (Louis Ward, Jr.) Sargent of Norwalk; her son, Dennis (Mary) J. McCreary of Cuyahoga Falls, OH; her sisters, Margaret (Nelson) McBride of Arizona and Pearl (Glen) Gaag of Norwalk; her brothers, Kenneth (Clarice) Delamater of Milan and Lee (Irene) Delamater of Greenwich; her brother-in-law, Herm (Carol) McCreary of Norwalk; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William W. McCreary in 1988; parents, Ernest and Hazel Delamater; her two brothers, Dale Delamater and Glen Delamater.

Ruth Lucille (Kenefick) Fogg, age 78, of Norwalk, died Tuesday, November 06, 2007 at Providence Care Center in Sandusky.
She was born January 11, 1929 in Plantsville, Connecticut and was a 1947 graduate of Lewis High School. She moved in 1968 to Norwalk, where she has been a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She was a past member of the Garden Club and the lunch bunch ladies in Norwalk.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Bruce (Debbie) Fogg of Southington, CT, K.C. (Jeanne) Fogg of Noblesville, IN and Mark (Laurie) Fogg of Sandusky; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford H. Fogg in 2002, parents, Joseph and Leah (Abair) Kenefick; brothers, Donald and Francis Kenefick; and a sister, Wylva Fontana.

Kim E. Risner, 51, of Norwalk, died Friday, November 09, 2007 at Fisher-Titus Medical Center in Norwalk, after an extended illness.
He was born December 13, 1955 in Norwalk and was a 1974 graduate of Norwalk High School, where he was a four year letterman in baseball. He joined the US Air Force in 1975, receiving a Bachelors Degree in Business and Management from Golden State University in San Francisco, CA with honors. He received many medals and was a decorated military officer of 10 years. In 1992 he began working for the federal government as a loan specialist for the Small Business Administration in Washington D.C., and returned to Norwalk in the past six months. He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Norwalk, was an avid baseball fan and enjoyed reading and fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 11 years, Joeliza (Sanico) Risner of Norwalk; daughter, Kyla Ann Risner of Norwalk, parents, Ollie and Afria (Green) Risner of Norwalk; brothers and sisters, Larry K. (Robin) Risner of Norwalk, Keith Risner of New London, Karen Gonzalez of Cape Coral, FL, Susie (Jeff) Brandts of Sandusky, Jerry Risner of Norwalk and Steven (Dana) Risner of Norwalk; three nephews and a niece.
Friends may call on Sunday from 2 – 5 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Monday at 10:30 A.M. in St. Paul Catholic Church, 91 E. Kenneth Brewster

Kenneth Brewster, age 68, of Norwalk, died suddenly in his home on Monday afternoon, November 12, 2007.
He was born April 13, 1939 in Akron, OH. He graduated from the University of Akron in 1962 with a degree in Psychology. Kenneth served his country in the Army and was honorably discharged with the rank of 1st lieutenant in 1969. Pursuing his goal of serving others, he worked for the State of Ohio in the Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation. Relocating from Akron to Norwalk in 1984, he joined the Erie-Huron Community Action Council in the Headstart program, until retiring in 2001.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Enid (Jonas) Brewster of Norwalk; his daughter, Erika (Todd) Gault; his son, Todd Brewster, owner of EM’s Software Plus; his daughter-in-law, Pam Brewster; and his grandson, Allan Beasley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, T. Wayne and Evelyn Brewster.

Teri L. DiMassa-Boyden, age 57, of Norwalk, died Saturday, November 17, 2007 at her residence.
She was born March 13, 1950 in Columbus, Ohio. She enjoyed bowling, darts, horses, plastic canvas sewing, sunflowers and was an avid Conway Twitty fan.
She is survived by her husband, Gerald “Jerry” Boyden of Norwalk; daughters, Teresa Garnder of Norwalk and Michelle Snider of Florida; sons, Michael Snider of Parma and Joseph Nimylowycz of Brookpark; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild; sisters, Marlainne Pitton of Cleveland, Diana Graham of Norwalk, Christine Wallace of Cleveland and Karen Mills of Berea; brother, Timothy Pitton of Cleveland; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and LaDonna (Newman) Pitton.

Martha “Marge” Blevins, age 68, of Norwalk, died Sunday, November 18, 2007 in University of Toledo Medical Center, Toledo, OH.
She was born September 16, 1939 in Hairy Hill, Alberta Canada. She was a 1959 graduate of Hairy Hill High School and attended Pacific College in Tacoma, WA. She was a caring and loving mother. She enjoyed gardening, spending time with her grandchildren, sewing and shopping. She was a cashier at Drug Mart in Norwalk and truly enjoyed working with customers.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Don Blevins of Norwalk; her daughter, Patricia (Robert) Camacho of Maumee, OH; her sons, Lance (Joanne) Blevins of Virginia Beach, VA, Brian (Michelle) Blevins of Vienna, VA, Christopher (Mena) Blevins of Richmond, KY and Graig (Danielle) Blevins of Woodbury, NJ; her sisters, Sophia Elkuf, Elizabeth Trufyn and Evelyn Esak; her brothers, Lawrence Tatarin and Edward Tatarin; and her seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Sophia Tatarin; her son Marine Corporal Reynold Blevins in 1983; her daughter, Carol Ann Blevins in infancy, 1966; her sisters, Mary Medwick and Ann Hope; and her brother, Bill Tatarin.

James M. Herr

James M. Herr, age 73, of Norwalk, died Wednesday morning, November 21, 2007 at the Ohio State University Cancer Center in Columbus.
He was born March 28, 1934 in Defiance, Ohio and served in the US Army. He worked for Norfolk and Southern Railroad for 55 years. After retirement he worked concessions at Norwalk Raceway Park for 15 years. He enjoyed traveling and cruises to international countries.
He is survived by his son, James A. Herr of Columbus; a sister and three brothers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Helen (Starling) Herr; and two brothers.
A memorial service will be held 6:00 P.M. Sunday, November 25, 2007 at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. The Rev. Melvin Sayler will officiate. Private Interment will be held at a later date.
