Ina J. Schupska
GENEVA - Ina Josephine Schupska, 90, died Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2002, at Rae-Ann Geneva.
She was born August 20, 1912, in Cleveland, daughter of Emil and Alma (Kaijankoski) Kipina. She married George H. Schupska April 25, 1931, in Ripley, N.Y.
Mrs. Schupska was a waitress at Von Ressler's Restaurant in Geneva.
She was a 1930 graduate of Harbor High School and a charter member of the United Church, where she was active in the Evening Group. She enjoyed fishing and trips to Canada with her husband. She volunteered at UHHS Memorial Hospital of Geneva.
Survivors include her son Art Schupska of Geneva; grandsons Gary Schupska of Midland, Mich. and Mark Schupska of Geneva; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Service is 10 a.m. Friday, at Behm Family Funeral Home, 175 S. Broadway, Geneva, officiated by the Rev. Bob Cunningham of the United Church. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Geneva.
Calling hours are 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.

Randi Jo Brooks
GENEVA - Randi Jo Brooks, 18, of Geneva, died Monday, April 8, 2002, from injuries suffered in a jet-ski accident in Florida. She died at Sacred Heart Health Systems in Pensacola, Fla.
She was born Feb. 2, 1984, in Cleveland, the daughter of Gail (Mack) Brooks and Randy Brooks, and was a lifelong Geneva resident.
She was a senior at Geneva High School, where she was involved with the Mentorship program at Geneva Police Department. She was also a member of the high school's choir and women's chorale.
She was a member of Vaquerro's 4-H Horse Club for six years. She was a former Girl Scout, and participated in and supported the Geneva Youth Basketball League. She helped with the monthly dances for elementary-age students at the Geneva Civic Center, and was a regular Red Cross blood donor.
She worked at the Subway in Geneva, and had enlisted in the Air Force, where she had planned on working the medical field. Family members said she was a blessing to others throughout her life and even at death, because her organs were donated so others may live.
Survivors include her parents; three sisters, Crystal Ann Brooks, Rebecca Marie Fults and Christina Fallow, all of Geneva; a brother, Kory Allen Brooks of Geneva; paternal grandmother Joan Perry of Unionville; maternal grandmother Barb Mack of Geneva; maternal grandfather Allan Mack of McCool Junction, Neb.; and great-grandmother Maxine Billman of Geneva.
She was preceded in death by a grandfather, Harry Perry.
Service is 11 a.m. Saturday at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 175 South Broadway, Geneva. The Rev. Harry Pishcura, of New Life Assembly of God in Geneva, will officiate. Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Geneva.
Calling hours are 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Gary L. Marlow
GENEVA - Gary L. Marlow, 50, of Eastwood Street, Geneva, died Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2001, at his home.
He was born Oct. 22, 1950, in San Antonio, Texas, the son of Homer L. and Uvon L. (Byrd) Marlow.
A Vietnam War veteran, he served in the Army for 20 years, handling helicopter maintenance. He also served in the Third Infantry at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
He worked at the Belgian Waffle Restaurant in Virginia for five years, and also was employed one year at the Giant Eagle supermarket in Geneva.
He married the former Diane M. LeBaron on March 25, 1995, at Newport News, Va.
In his leisure time he enjoyed woodcrafting and reading.
Survivors include his father, of Barnegat, N.J.; his wife; two sons, Kenny of Arkansas, and Gary of California; and a sister, Twila Bassett of Barnegat.
He was preceded in death by his mother and a brother, Monty.
Graveside service will be 11:30 a.m. Friday at Evergreen Cemetery in Geneva. The Rev. Harry Pishcura, of New Life Assembly of God, Geneva, will officiate.

Meta M. Wittmeyer
PRESCOTT, Ariz. - Meta M. Wittmeyer, 73, of Prescott, Ariz., died Monday, Oct. 1, 2001, at the Margaret T. Morris Center in Prescott.
She was born June 4, 1928, in Ashtabula, the daughter of Robert F. and Florence (Kellogg) Reed.
She and her husband, Herman, lived in Prescott since 1983, moving to the area from Phoenix. The couple lived in Boston, N.Y., before moving to Arizona in 1954.
She was an active member of the Prescott United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. She and her husband were active volunteers, and on most Sundays drove the church van.
She enjoyed sewing and crafts, and was famous for her gardening talent, growing roses, lilacs and geraniums.
Survivors include her husband, whom she married 47 years ago; daughters Nancy Bridges of Phoenix, Ariz., and Donna Phillips of Moreno Valley, Calif.; grandchildren Eric, Natalie, Amy and Michael; and a brother, Donald of Ashtabula.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby.
Service was held in Arizona.

Adeline D. Brandon
GENEVA-ON-THE-LAKE - Adeline D. Brandon, 92, of Thomas Boulevard, died Thursday, Aug. 9, 2001, at the Jefferson Geriatric Center.
She was born Aug. 25, 1908, in Cleveland, a daughter of Frank and Josephine (Logran) Miller.
She worked in the office for 20 years at Bailey Meter, Willoughby. She volunteered at Memorial Hospital of Geneva and Rae-Ann Nursing Home. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary, Geneva.
Survivors include two daughters, Frances Goodale of Stafford Springs, Conn., and Loma Stone of Dorset Township; 14 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Sr.; a son, John Jr.; and a sister, Viola Miller.
Service is 1 p.m. Monday at the Donald E. Walker Funeral Home, 828 Sherman St., Geneva, with lay pastor Gordon Emerson of Jefferson United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Austinburg Center Cemetery.
Calling hours are 11 a.m. until time of service Monday at the funeral.
Floyd N. Smith
GENEVA - Floyd N. Smith, 92, formerly of Elm Street, died Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2001, at Geneva Health Care Center.
Born Dec. 20, 1908, in Geneva, he was a son of Robert M. and Nellie J. (Hudson) Smith.
He was a sales clerk for Montgomery Ward, Ashtabula, retiring in 1962. He was a past member of the Geneva Assembly of God.
Survivors include a brother, George Smith of Sands, Fla.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside service is 9 a.m. Monday at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Geneva, with the Rev. Dan Arbogast officiating.
