Pearl V. Lynch
GENEVA - Pearl V. Lynch, 78, of Geneva, died Thursday, May 24, 2001, in Orlando, Fla.
She was born Feb. 18, 1923, in Cumberland, Md., the daughter of Lorenzo and Effie May Kearchner.
Mrs. Lynch was a resident of Geneva for 49 years.
She worked for 25 years for the Geneva Area City School System, in the cafeteria.
Mrs. Lynch married Arthur J. Lynch on March 30, 1946 in Cumberland, Md.
She was a member of the Faith Freedom Fellowship Church, Geneva.
Mrs. Lynch was a student of God's Word, enjoyed crocheting, flower gardening and bird watching.
Survivors include her husband Arthur "Bob" of Geneva, two sons, Jim Lynch of Largo, Fla., Greg Lynch of Orlando, Fla., three sisters, Sarah Welch and Mary Wilt of Cumberland, Md., Jean Casteel of Ludowici, Ga., one brother, Richard Kearchner of Fitchburg, Mass., four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Eddie, George, Frank, two sisters Helen and Juanita.
Service will be Friday at 7 p.m. at the Donald E. Walker Funeral Home, 828 Sherman, St., Geneva, with the Revs. Raymond and Edith Baker of Faith Freedom Fellowship Church, Geneva.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Faith Freedom Fellowship, P.O. Box 643, Geneva and Teen Challenge, 3032 Perry Park Road, Perry.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Donald E. Walker Funeral Home, 828 Sherman St., Geneva.

Dorothy L. Pipher
GENEVA - Dorothy L. Pipher, 78, of East Union Street, died Friday, May 10, 2002, at Sacred Heart Nursing Home, Geneva.
He was born Oct. 13, 1923, in Tunis, N.C., the son of Paul and Betty (Harrington) Rose.
She worked as a waitress at Charlie's Place, Geneva, for nine years. She also worked for two years at Geneva Rubber.
She married Harold E. Pipher on Dec. 18, 1954, in Geneva.
She enjoyed playing bingo and bowling in the Eagles team.
Mrs. Pipher was a member of Johnston Baptist Church, Johnston Ohio, and the Geneva Fire Department Ladies' Smokettes.
Survivors include caregivers and friends, Matthew and Donna Dingle; and friend Shirley Jewell of Geneva.
She was preceded in death by her husband, in 1999; two half-brothers, John Rogers and Paul Rose; and her parents.
Graveside service is 11 a.m. Thursday at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Geneva.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
The Donald E. Walker Funeral Home, 828 Sherman St., Geneva, has charge of the arrangements.

Margaret L. Dute
GENEVA - Margaret L. Dute, 88, died Monday, Feb. 11, 2002, at the Geneva Health Care Center.
She was born Nov. 8, 1913, in East Liverpool, the daughter of Earl R. and Lillian (Foust) McDole.
She was survived by her son, Richard Dute of Paoli, Pa.; a sister, Kate McCall of Middletown; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leonard Dute, on July 9, 1961; and a grandchild.
Graveside service is 11 a.m. Friday at Evergreen Cemetery, Geneva. The Rev. Hugh Hookway of Geneva United Methodist Church will officiate.
There will be private calling hours for close friends and relatives.
The Kennedy-Billman Funeral Home, 323 South Broadway, is in charge of arrangements.

Mary F. Walsh
GENEVA - Mary F. Walsh, 90, died April 7, 2001, at Geneva Health Care Center.
The daughter of William and Mary Walsh, she was born May 14, 1910.
Miss Walsh was a former factory worker.
Survivors include one niece and one nephew from outside the areas
She was preceded in death by her parents.
No calling hours or funeral will be observed.
The Donald E. Walker Funeral Home, 828 Sherman St., Geneva, has charge of the arrangements.

William L. Warmington
ST. LOUIS, MO. - William L. Warmington, 85, died Thursday, Oct. 12, 2000, at the Missouri Veterans Home.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by the Ross-Billman Funeral Home, 526 Prospect Road, Ashtabula.

Margaret Bliss
GENEVA-ON-THE-LAKE - Margaret Bliss, 76, of GOTL, died Thursday, August 14, 2003, at her home.
She was born on June 8, 1927 in Pittsburgh, PA.
Margaret retired from Brookline Bank in Brookline, PA in 1988 and moved to GOTL later that year. In 1993 she was elected as the Clerk of GOTL. She served her community for 10 years.
She was a very strong willed person who was well respected and appreciated by her colleagues and many friends in the historic lakeside resort.
This year she was named GOTL Citizen of the Year. Her family and many friends will miss her.
Survivors include a niece, Linda Vighetti, whose loving heart and hands, comforted her during her final 12 days on earth, and Leo, her husband; a nephew, John (Bob) Zielinski and Beverly, his wife; a great niece, Dawn Kempton (Vighetti) and Michael, her husband; and a great nephew, R.J. Vighetti.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Ashtabula County - ACMC, 2420 Lake Avenue, Ashtabula, OH 44004 or the American Cancer Society, 7861 Crile Road, Concord, OH 44077.
We miss you and already feel an empty void deep within our hearts.
Visiting the Lake and skipping stones will never, never be the same.
We love you Aunt Margaret, say hello to Mom and Dad for us, Linda and Bob.

Maida Marie Obhof
GENEVA - Maida Marie Obhof, 73, of Austin Rd., Geneva, died Friday, June 13, 2003 at Rae-Ann Nursing Home under Hospice care.
Born September 19, 1929 in Rome, OH she was the daughter of Willard and Muriel (Sanford) King and has been a Harpersfield and Geneva resident all her life.
She married Rudy Obhof in 1950. They would have celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary in August. She was a homemaker, wife, and a mother and loved visiting with her friends and relatives. She always took pride in her home and appearance.
Survivors include her husband; four children, Phillip of Geneva, Susan Zuzek of Bedford, Joanie (Dave) Scafuro of Ashtabula, and Chris (Penny) of Bedford; five grandchildren, Robbie, Mary Ellen, Michelle, Mark, and Amber; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Richard King of Harpersfield; and one sister, Anne Russell of Ashtabula.
She was preceded in death by a brother Bobby in infancy; brother, Howard; and sister, Dorothy (King) Kalinsky.
A private graveside service will be held at Rome Twp. Cemetery next week with Pastor Mary Jo Foust of Rome Presbyterian Church officiating.
