Doris P. Williams
GENEVA - Doris Pauline Williams, 68, died Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2002, at University Hospitals in Cleveland.
She was born April 22, 1934, in Smithfield, W.Va., to Norval and Rachel (Johnston) Brewer. She was a former Madison resident. She married Roy Williams Dec. 20, 1952.
Mrs. Williams graduated from Smithfield High School in 1952. She was the former owner of Roy's Lakeside Tavern in Madison. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Post 601 in Madison. She enjoyed being with her grandchildren, going camping, and her cat, Fluffy.
Survivors include a son, Larry Williams of Geneva; a daughter, Paula Taylor, also of Geneva; sisters Garnet Shaffer of Smithfield, W.Va. and Vivian Brewer of Simpsonville, S.C.; a brother, Joe Brewer of Bridgeport, W.Va.; grandchildren James Kilpatrick, Zachery and Dustin Taylor, and Nicole, Tonya and Michael Williams; and a great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, in 1983; her parents; an infant daughter; two brothers, Warren and Denver Brewer; and a granddaughter, Kristina Williams, in 1995.
Service is 11 a.m. Saturday at the Potti Funeral Home, 2726 Hubbard Road, Madison. Burial will be in Madison Memorial Cemetery.
Family will receive friends 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family.

Dulcia M. Miller
GENEVA - Dulcia M. Miller, 90, died Wednesday, July 18, 2001, in her home.
She was born Oct. 14, 1910, in Bishop, Calif., the daughter of Charles and Frances (Currie) Winter.
She worked for the S & H Green Stamp Redemption Department Store in Ashtabula.
Mrs. Miller married Carl Miller on July 30, 1941.
She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star of New York and past matron of the Clyde, N.Y. Chapter.
Mrs. Miller enjoyed playing cards, sewing and crafts.
Survivors include her granddaughter, Sandy Maynard of Geneva, whom she made her home; grandson, Donald Miller, Jr. of Perry; her sister, Alice Colasurdo of Clyde, N.Y.; five great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son, Donald L. Sr., her brothers, Fred, Jim, Ernie, Willie, Tom, Lawrence, Robert and her sisters, Flossie Fitzgerald and Virginia Loveless.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. in the Zaback-Czup Funeral Home, 500 Prospect Road, Ashtabula, with the Rev. Joe A. Ernspiker of the Living Water Baptist Church officiating.
Burial will be in the Kellogsville Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Friday from 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Ashtabula County.

Dr. Victor H. Zima
KINGWOOD, Texas - Dr. Victor H. Zima died Sunday, Sept. 3, 2000, at his home in Houston.
He was born April 1, 1917, in Columbus, Neb., and grew up in Geneva.
A graduate of Geneva High School, Kent State University and Kansas City College of Osteopathy and Surgery, Dr. Zima practiced medicine for 55 years in Jacinto City and Houston, Texas.
He was elected a fellow in the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons and served in various capacities as a member of the American Osteopathic Association.
Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Charlotte; two daughters Vicki Campbell and Zoanne Kron; a stepson Donald L. Jones III.; two brothers, L.J. of Ashtabula and Frank; two sisters, Euginia Braun and Angeline Hodgson; six grandchildren Ryan Campbell Garrett, Tanner Campbell, Hunter Campbell, Trevor Shaw, Corey Victor Shaw, and Zachary Shaw; and three step-grandchilden April Jones, Donald Jones IV, and Megan Kron.
Services were held Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2000 at St. Mary Magdelene Catholic Church, Humble, Texas.

Sue Mae Kelly
GENEVA - Sue Mae Kelly, 88, of Geneva, OH, died Thursday, July 17, 2003, in Cadillac, Michigan.
Mrs. Kelly was born on October 17, 1914 in Geneva. She married James Wilson Kelly, also of Geneva, on August 5, 1939.
Sue Kelly worked as a secretary for the Geneva Public Schools from the mid 50's to the mid 60's. She was active in Eastern Star, participated in many bridge clubs, and was a long time member of the Progressive Literary Club.
She is survived by two children, Susan, and William, both of Michigan; three grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Mrs. Kelly was preceded in death by her husband, Jim.
Visitation will be at Park Street Christian Church, 97 Park Street, Geneva, OH 44041, on Wednesday, July 23, 2003, at 10 a.m., immediately followed by a Memorial Service at 11 a.m.
Interment will be later in the summer. The family suggests donations to the Park Street Christian Church or the American Cancer Society, 7861 Crile Road, Concord, OH 44077.
Arrangements were handled by the D.E. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 828 Sherman Street, Geneva, OH.

Dr. Charles Manthey
SEBRING, FL - Former Genevan Dr. Charles Manthey, 80, passed away May 26, 2003, at The Palms of Sebring, FL.
He spent his youth in Geneva, graduating from the G.H.S. Class of 1940. He was born Dec. 24, 1922, in Akron, to Edwin and Mary Gledhill Manthey.
Dr. Manthey was a Doctor of Anesthesiology for 30 years at Holy Cross Hospital in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He was a graduate of Case Western Reserve in Cleveland, and George Washington Medical School in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Manthey was a veteran of World War II, serving as a Captain in the U.S. Army and an Army Doctor. He was a member of Delta Tau Delta, American Medical Association, and Navy League. He was also a member of the Broward County Medical Association, and served as president of the Broward chapter of the American Heart Association.
Dr. Manthey was mayor of Sea Ranch Lakes in FL from 1974 until 1980; an alternate delegate for the 1964 Republican National Convention in San Francisco, and was selected for Who's Who in American Politics. He was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Avon Park.
Dr. Manthey is survived by his wife, Catherine; two sons; four daughters; eight grandchildren; and a brother, Dr. William Manthey of Galion, OH.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Dr. Richard Manthey.
A memorial service was held at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Lighthouse Point.
Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Cross Hospital, Development Office, 4725 N. Federal Highway, Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33308.
Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home, Sebring, FL.

Edward T. Moores
GENEVA - Edward T. Moores, 80, died Sunday, March 18, 2001, at Rae-Ann Nursing Home.
Born May 7, 1920, in Harpersfield, he was a son of Thomas and Elva Moores. He was a lifelong resident.
He married Martha Hope July 1, 1972, in Ashtabula.
He was a crane operator at R. W. Sidley in Painesville for 31 years and retired in 1982.
He was a member of the Living Church of God in Ashtabula.
His hobby was camping and mechanics.
Survivors include his wife; four stepdaughters, Barbara Sesler of Jefferson, Pat Brown of Ashtabula, Sharon Matyus of North Bloomfield, Mich., Sandra Headley of Conneaut; one stepson, Vernon Fellows of Painesville; 10 step-grandchildren; 12 step-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Robert Moores of Girard, Pa.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Elda Moores; his parents; four step-grandchildren, Kathy and Shelly Brown, Michael Sesler and Dwayne Slater Jr.; one brother, Lloyd Moores; one sister, Ann Shepherd; and one stepbrother, Raymond Tallman.
Service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Donald E. Walker Funeral Home, 828 Sherman St., Geneva. The Rev. Robert Falke of the Living Church of God will officiate.
Burial will be in Unionville Cemetery, Unionville.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Living Church of God. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
The Donald E. Walker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
