Ruth E. Prine
ORWELL - Ruth E. Prine, 82, of Orwell, died Saturday, November 29, 2003 at UHHS Geauga Regional Hospital.
Ruth was the dear wife of the late Robert, whom she married in 1942; mother of Linda Kae (Lloyd), Dennis, Marna (Deceased), Perry, Clarice Jane (Deceased), and David Prine.
She was the daughter of Wilmer and Isabelle Hodge; sister of Lynn, Earl, Clarence, and Carl (Deceased) Hodge. She was the grandmother of seven.
Respects will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, December 3, 2003 at the PAINE-GUERRIERO FUNERAL HOME, 140 East Main Street, Orwell. Interment will follow the remembrance services at 1 p.m. at the Orwell North Cemetery.

ORWELL – Peter P. Bogdan, 79, died Friday morning, June 4, 2004 at his home.
Funeral mass will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 8 at St. Mary Church, 103 North Maple Street in Orwell.

NEW LYME - Ruth S. Bailey-Jerome, age 70, passed away at her home early Wednesday morning, Oct. 3, 2007.
She was born on October 18, 1936 in Mesopotamia, to the late Harold and Mary (Case) Difford.
Ruth was a member of the Grand Valley Nazarene Church in Orwell, and the Jefferson Grange. She was a Cleveland Indians fanatic, enjoyed bowling, square dancing, puzzles, and game shows. She was a collector of porcelain dolls and stuffed animals, including her cow collection.
Mrs. Jerome is survived by her children, Barbara (Ed) Raskov of Warren, William (Laura Rozman) Bailey of New Lyme; sisters, Rebecca Potter of El Dorado, Kan., and Joyce Stafford of Newton Falls; brother, Allen Difford of Garrettsville; grandchildren, Beverly Scott, Jenalee Durst, Mallinda Simunich, Brittany Bailey, Pfc. Brandon Bailey, and Jaclyn Bailey; and nine great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Henry Bailey; second husband, Allan Jerome; and brother, Verne Difford.
Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 8, 2007, at the PAINE-GUERRIERO FUNERAL HOME, 140 East Main St., Orwell, Ohio, with Pastor James Stanley, of the Orwell United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Southeast Hartsgrove Cemetery, Hartsgrove, Ohio.
Friends and relatives will be received 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, 2007, at the Funeral Home.
Viola A. Monroe
NEW LYME TOWNSHIP - Viola A. Monroe, 91, of Lenox-New Lyme Road, New Lyme Township, died early Thursday morning, Sept. 26, 2002, at the Hospice Unit of the Ashtabula County Medical Center after a long illness.
She was born April 9, 1911, in Rome Township, the daughter of James and Alice (Hummel) Ritner, and lived in New Lyme Township most of her life.
She married Elliott C. Monroe on May 26, 1934, in Lenox Township.
She was a member of the Lenox Federated Church, where she was in the Ladies Aid, and a 50-year member of the Jefferson Grange. She enjoyed reading and needlework.
Survivors include three daughters, Mary Ruth Kwallek of Southington, Shirley A. Carnahan of Painesville, and Joyce M. Monroe of New Lyme Township; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a great-grandson, John A. O'Neill Jr.; and three brothers and eight sisters.
Service is 1 p.m. Monday at the Fleming Funeral Home Inc., 49 W. Jefferson St., Jefferson. The Rev. Richard Neumann, of the Lenox Federated Church, and the Rev. Len Derico, a grandson-in-law, of First Christian Church of Columbiana, will officiate. Burial will be at Brownville Cemetery.
Calling hours are 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Raymond Kaderly
NEW LYME - Raymond Kaderly, 85, of Dodgeville Rd., died Thursday, May 22, 2003, at his home.
He was born on July 3, 1917, in Dover, OH, the son of Homer and Amelia (Kappler) Kaderly and has been an area resident since 1948.
Mr. Kaderly was a member of New Lyme Christian Fellowship Church. He enjoyed working around the house and traveling. He worked for Vogt Conad as an Iron worker before retiring in 1982.
Survivors include his wife, Vera (Finzer), whom he married on February 26, 1938; two sons, David of Geneva, and Jeff of Concord; five grandchildren, Oleg, Scott, Jill, Sonja, and Michelle; eight great grandchildren; and two sisters, Mildred Kaderly of Dover, and Marion Prysi of Sugar Creek.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Russell, Wilmer, and Curtis.
A service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 27, 2003, at Ducro Funeral Services-Jefferson Home, 17 N. Market St., Jefferson, with Rev. Terry Nevison of New Lyme Christian Fellowship Church officiating. Burial will follow at Brownville Cemetery.

Francis Earl Irvine
NEW LYME - Francis Earl Irvine, 70, a resident of New Lyme, died Friday, July 18, 2003, at his home.
Born in Cleveland on July 31, 1932, he was the son of William and Frances Ethel (Williamson) Irvine.
He retired from Copperweld as a quality controller.
A Veteran of the U.S. Army, he enjoyed woodworking, beekeeping, restoring antiques, and farming.
urvivors include his sisters, Grace Hurney of Kirtland, Carollyn Olah, and Sandra Olah, both of Orwell, and Linda Maze of Niles.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Margaret Irvine, and Barbara Ann Snyder; and five brothers, William Jr., Howard, Gerald, Robert, and Donald Irvine.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 22, 2003 in the Guerriero Funeral Home, 140 E. Main Street in Orwell. Burial will take place in Dodgeville Cemetery, New Lyme, OH.
Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Monday, July 21, 2003 from 7 to 9 p.m.
Carolyn M. Pulford
NEW LYME TOWNSHIP - Carolyn M. Pulford, 63, died Sunday, Feb. 14, 2002, at her residence.
She was born Nov. 22, 1938, in Hartsgrove Township, the daughter of Carl F. and Josephine M. (Lindow) Hacker.
She was a 1956 Grand Valley High School graduate.
She worked as a material planner for LFE Corp., Chester Township for 35 years.
Mrs. Pulford enjoyed antiques, collecting dolls, gardening, her pets, old cars, and reading.
Survivors include her husband, John W.; and a brother, Richard Hacker of Hartsgrove Township.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Harvey Hacker.
Service is 11 a.m. Friday at the Paine-Simpson Funeral Home, 140 E. Main St., Orwell, with the Rev. Meredeth Coleman of Jefferson United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Hartsgrove Center Cemetery.
Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Zevelda E. Parsons
NEW LYME TOWNSHIP - Zevelda E. "Sis" Parsons, 62, of Brownville Road, formerly of Cleveland, died Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2003, in St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown.
She was born Sept. 26, 1940 in McCorkle, W. Va., the daughter of Hillard and Ollie (Pauley) Estep.
Mrs. Parsons has lived in New Lyme Township since 1969 owned and operated Parsons Corner Store in New Lyme Township for 15 years. She was also employed by Pymatuning Valley Schools for 10 years, retiring in 1980.
Mrs. Parsons attended the First Apostolic Church of New Lyme, taught Sunday school and helped with summer Bible school at the Grand Valley Southern Baptist Church in Rome.
She sponsored New Lyme T-ball for 11 years.
Mrs. Parsons enjoyed Bible study, crafts, crocheting, fishing and traveling.
She married Covie L. Parson June 18, 1960.
Survivors include her daughter, Pamela P. Bice of New Lyme Township; a son, Gregory L. Parsons of New Lyme Township; a sister, Drema Loy of New Lyme Township; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Oct. 14, 1992; her parents; and two brothers, Doyle and Kenneth Estep.
Services will take place 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday, at the First Apostolic Church of New Lyme, 6000 Dodgeville Road.
Burial will be in Brownville Cemetery in New Lyme Township.
