Harold F. Seigman Jr.
WILLOUGHBY HILLS - Harold F. Seigman Jr., 72, of Par Lane died Saturday, Oct. 5, 2002, at Wickliffe Country Place.
Mr. Seigman was born June 18, 1930, in Ashtabula, the son of Harold Floyd Sr. and Evelyn Bernice (Neeley) Seigman. He had been a lifelong Ashtabula resident until moving to Willoughby Hills in 1990.
A graduate of Ashtabula High School, he worked 30 years for Reliance Electric before retiring.
A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served during the Korean Conflict.
Mr. Seigman was heavily involved in church, serving as board secretary of the First Church of the Nazarene in Ashtabula. He also served as president of the Messiah Choir and belonged to the Maple Grove Christian Missionary Alliance Church in Willoughby Hills. In addition, he played harmonica at church.
His passion was race car driving. He often raced at Thompson Raceway and had an extensive collection of model race cars at home.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Jean (Lewis) Jordan Seigman, whom he married Aug. 4, 1984; seven children, Dan Seigman and Joni Snyder, both of Ashtabula, Ron Seigman of Shelby, N.C., Donna Nero and Richard Jordan, both of Willowick, David Jordan of Painesville and Daniel Jordan of Upland, Ind.; 15 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Ellen (Shinault), on Sept. 11, 1982; sister, Jeanne Cooper in 1991; and his parents.
Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at Ashtabula First Church of the Nazarene, 1820 S. Ridge W., Ashtabula. The Rev. Michael Legg of the church will officiate with assistance by Pastor Ken Unger of the Maple Grove Christian Missionary Alliance Church, Willoughby Hills.
Burial will be in Ridgeview Cemetery, Ashtabula.
Calling hours are 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Zaback-Czup Funeral Home, 500 W. Prospect Road, Ashtabula, at the church.

Beatrice Lattimore
WILLOUGHBY - Beatrice Lattimore, 83, died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2002, at LakeWest Hospital, Willoughby.
She was born June 2, 1918, in Trosper, Ky., a daughter of Matthew and Bertha (Williams) Woolum.
Mrs. Lattimore was a cashier for Fisher Foods, Willoughby, for 10 years, retiring in 1959.
She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, Munson Township.
She enjoyed all crafts, crocheting and knitting, as well as furniture restoration and wall papering. She mastered the art of being a homemaker. She liked spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include a daughter, June LeQuyea of Chardon; a son, Jerry of Twinsburg; five grandchildren, Frank Lattimore, Melissa Russell, Curtis LeQuyea, Terrance Lattimore and Cyndi Torres; seven great-grandchildren; and four brothers, Mart, Jason, Hubert and Jim Marcum.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William; and a brother, Ambrose.
Memorial service is noon Feb. 23 at Peace Lutheran Church, 12686 Bass Lake Road, Chardon, with the Rev. Donald Heino officiating. Burial will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chester Township.
Friends may call immediately following the service.

Delbert R. Snell
WILLOUGHBY - Delbert R. Snell, 79, formerly of Painesville, died Thursday, Dec. 19, 2002, at Fairmount Health Center at Breckenridge Village, Willoughby.
He was born Jan. 30, 1923 in Painsville and was a member of Painesville Church of the Nazarene.
Mr. Snell was employed at IRC Fibers Powerhouse as a maintenance engineer for 32 years, retiring in 1981. He was then employed at Systematic Computer Services in Highland Heights in computer related services.
Mr. Snell was veteran of the U.S. Navy serving from 1943 to 1946 in the Pacific on the USS Belleauwood.
Survivors include his wife, Winifred (Cobb); his brothers, Lester of Painesville, Howard of Geneva, and Ralph of Mentor; sisters, Verna Calvert of Ashtabula, Violet Lepard of Painesville, and Barbara Mohr of Jefferson; children, Roger Snell of Phoenix, Ariz. and Michael Snell of Perry; grandchildren, Matthew and Nickolas Lanzi and Eric Snell.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Elmer, Edward, Jack and Frank; and a sister, Helen Houtari.
Services will be 6 p.m. Monday at Painesville Church of the Nazarene, 6123 Chestnut St., Concord, with the Rev. Ernest LaBella officiating.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Painesville.
Family will receive friends after the memorial service.

June E. Miller
WILLOUGHBY HILLS - June E. Miller, 83, died Thursday, May 23, 2002, at her home.
She was born June 10, 1918, in Ashtabula, to Harold and Mae Hickok. She lived in Willoughby Hills for 47 years.
Mrs. Miller was a homemaker. She was a member of Willoughby Hills United Methodist Church, where she was part of the women's group. She was a former Sunday School teacher and choir member at a Methodist church in Ashtabula. She was past president of the PTA in Willoughby schools and a longtime volunteer at LakeWest Hospital, Willoughby.
She was an avid European traveler and was very creative. She enjoyed needlepoint, knitting and ceramics.
Survivors include son Warren C. Miller; grandchildren Timothy Miller, Clark Miller, Dorothy Viotto and Daniel Miller; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clark O., in 1995; a brother, Earl Moore; and her parents.
Funeral is 1 p.m. Tuesday at Davis Trust 100 Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby, officiated by the Rev. Harper McAdoo Turney of St. Andrew Episcopal Church, Kirtland Hills. Burial will be in Mentor Cemetery.

Eleanore Craun
WILLOUGHBY - Eleanore Craun, 81, of Willoughby, died Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 20, 2000, at Hospice House in Cleveland.
She was born April 13, 1919, in Madison, the daughter of Mabel Garfield (Bower) and Mark H. Woodworth. She moved to Willoughby this year from Willoughby Hills, where she had lived since 1953.
A homemaker, she married Edwin P. Craun in February 1944 in Madison.
She was a member of Gideons International and the Willoughby Hills United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Lou Ann Thompson of Tulsa, Okla.; three sons, Edwin Craun of Lexington, Va., John Craun of Newton, Iowa, and Gary Craun of Berea; 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Carol Nicholson; and a brother, Herald "Woody" Woodworth.
A memorial service will be held at noon Friday at the Willoughby Hills United Methodist Church, 34201 Eddy Road, Willoughby Hills. The Rev. Michael J. Teston, of Willoughby Hills United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be 10 a.m. Friday at Sunset Memorial Park, 6201 Columbia Road, North Olmstead. Those attending should gather at the main gate to be escorted to the burial site.

Marshall H. Lewis
WILLOUGHBY - Marshall H. Lewis, 68, died Friday, Dec. 27, 2002, at his home. He was born Feb. 12, 1934 in Logan County, W. Va., the son of Willie and Rebecca Lewis.
He lived in Shalersville before moving to Willoughby 31 years ago.
Mr. Lewis was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Mentor.
A retired factory worker, Mr. Lewis was employed by TRW for 39 years before his retirement in 1991.
Survivors include his daughter, Kathy Nizen of Jefferson, his son, Kenneth M. Lewis of Eastlake, two granddaughters, Stephanie Nizen and Amanda Lewis; and two brothers, Willie Lewis of Shalersville and Donald Lewis of Madison.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Avenell “Nell” Lewis, who died in 1998, his parents, and three brothers, Orvold, Ernold and Ed Lewis.
Service is 11 a.m. Tuesday, at Davis Trust 100 Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby, with the Rev. Hank Williams of Mentor East Heisley Church of God, officiating.
Calling hours are 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Plains Road Cemetery in Willoughby.
Robert C. Nichols
WICKLIFFE - Robert C. Nichols, 73, died Friday, Feb. 8, 2002, at LakeWest Hospital, Willoughby.
Born Oct. 2, 1928, in Mexico, Mo., he was a the son of Beverly and Cliffe (Barley) Nichols.
He was employed by Joseph Dyson and Sons Inc.. Painesville, for more than 40 years, retiring as vice president in 1983.
Mr. Nichols was co-founder and coach of the Kirtland Midget Football League. He enjoyed golfing, woodworking and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Shelia (Bednarcik) of Wickliffe; a son, Christopher of Concord Township; three daughters, Cynthia Ezzone of Concord Township, Rebecca Greathouse of Painesville Township, and Brittany Nichols of Wickliffe; nine grandchildren, Ryan Winney, Nicholas Rutti, Erica Nichols, Marcus and Gina Ezzone, Alexandra Greathouse, and Brock, Brendan and Brooke Nichols; and five sisters, Aletha Kopanski, Elizabeth Chapman and Wynn Sanzotta, all of Geneva, Darlene Pardee of Oregon, and Patricia Westfall of Tucson, Ariz.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Kelly Nichols; and two brothers, Glen and Chat.
Service is 11 a.m. Monday at the Kennedy-Billman Funeral Home, 323 S. Broadway, Geneva, with the Rev. Robert A. Cunningham of the United Church of Geneva officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Geneva.
Calling hours are 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
