Charles C. Ermand Jr.
WARREN - Charles C. Dey Ermand Jr., 42, of Warren, died Nov. 12, 2001, at Washington Square Nursing Home in Warren.
He was born Feb. 24, 1959, in Warren, the son of Charles and Bonnie (Brown) Dey Ermand Sr., and had lived in the area the past three years.
Raised in Ashtabula, he worked as a general laborer and was employed by Work Force USA.
He enjoyed baseball, watching movies and playing the guitar.
Survivors include his mother, of Ravenna; a son, Michael Dey Ermand of Leavittsburg; a daughter, Autumn Renee Dey Ermand of Leavittsburg; two sisters, Kathy Dey Ermand and Teri Kay Sullivan, both of Warren; and a brother, William Dey Ermand of Leavittsburg.
He was preceded in death by his father.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, 533 N. Park Ave., Warren.
There will be no calling hours.
Frank B. Stanley
WARREN - Frank B. Stanley, 89, formerly of North Kingsville, died Monday, March 26, 2001, at St. Joseph Hospital in Warren.
Born Sept. 29, 1911, in Clio, W. Va., he was the son of Abner B. and Allie E. (Short) Stanley.
Mr. Stanley was an area resident for nearly 60 years and was employed as a crane operator at the former Union Carbide Corporation.
Mr. Stanley enjoyed his family, hunting and fishing.
Survivors include four daughters, Frances Skelton of Warren, Rosalie Robinson of Virginia Beach, Va., Violet Markwell of Bowerston and Joyce Markwell of Conneaut; two sons, Tharrel "Bud" Stanley of Erie, Pa., and Jerry Stanley of Spencer, W. Va.; one sister, Kermabelle John of Gary, Ind.; 28 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Blanche G. Stanley, in 1972; one daughter, Mary Ann Crysiak; one granddaughter, Debra Cleavenger; and a granddaughter and grandson in infancy.
Service is 2 p.m. Thursday at Marcy Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut, with the Rev. Jerry Webb, pastor of Kelloggsville Church of the Nazarene officiating.
Burial will be in Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Kingsville.
Calling hours will be Thursday from noon until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Clara Pietrasz
WARREN - Clara Pietrasz, 70, died Thursday, May 23, 2002, at Orange Village Care Center.
She was born Feb. 8, 1936, in Bloomfield Township, the daughter of Martin and Sophia (Szmyd) Pietrasz.
Survivors include a brother, Stanley Pietras of Seven Hills; and three sisters, Helen Damstoft of Warren, Lena Jones of Parma, and Angela Selmyer of Walnut, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Frances Pietrasz; and four brothers, Teddy Pietrasz, Walter Pietras, Chester Pietrasz, and Henry Pietrasz.
Service is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Church, 103 N. Maple St., Orwell. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Orwell.
Calling hours are from 10 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the church.
The Paine-Simpson Funeral Home, 140 E. Main St., Orwell, has charge of the arrangements.
Mary Gautschi
WARREN - Mary Gautschi, 100, formerly of Francis Street S.E., Warren, died Friday, April 18, 2003, at the Gillettes Nursing Home.
Born on March 5, 1903, in Ashtabula, the daughter of Alexander and Marie Elizabeth (Kotila) Skinnari.
She had been a resident of Warren since 1924, coming from Ashtabula.
Mrs. Gautschi was a homemaker and a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Niles. She enjoyed all needleworks, sewing, reading, traveling and playing bingo.
Survivors include two step children, Thomas W. Gautschi of Wabash, Indiana and Marilyn J. Gautschi of Warren; one nephew, Bruce Jolli of Fairfax, Va.; one niece, Jeanette Giaquinto of Escondido, Calif.; two brothers-in-law, Roscoe Gautschi of Champion and Henry Gautschi, of Niles; one sister-in-law, Mary Anthony, of Las Vegas, Nev.; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Foxall, whom she married April 17, 1924 and died Jan. 7, 1958, and her second husband, John W. Gautschi, whom she married Jan. 30, 1965 and died on March 7, 1988; a brother, Toivo Skinnari; and three sisters, Betty Johnson, Violet Davis and Irene Jolli.
At her request, there will be no calling hours or services. She will be cremated and buried at Edgewood Cemetery in Ashtabula. Material contributions may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church, 56 Chestnut Avenue, Niles, Ohio 44446.

WARREN - Daphne Elise Page, daughter of William M. Page V and Rachelle L. Podojil, of Warren, was born still on July 17, 2003 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren, Ohio.
Daphne is survived by her mother and father; William M. Page V and Rachelle L. Podojill; a brother, Calvin J. Page; Maternal grandparents, James and Laurie Podojil of Warren, OH; Paternal grandparents, William and Julie page of Orwell, OH; Maternal Great-Grandfather, James Podojil of Wayne Twp., OH; Maternal Great-Grandmother, Doris Feicht of Frankfort, IN; Paternal Great-Grandmother, Evelyn Page of Lake City, PA; Paternal Great-Grandmother, Barbara Sparling of Richmond, VA; Paternal Great Great-Grandmother, Mable Tyger of Lake City, PA; and several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
Daphne is preceded in death by her Maternal Great-Grandmother, Barbara "Bobbie" Podojil; Maternal Great-Grandfather, Donald Feicht; Paternal Great-Grandfather, William M. Page III; and Paternal Great-Grandfather, Kenneth Sparling.
A gathering will be held on Tuesday, July 22, 2003 from 1:00PM to 2:00PM at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 8569 Main St., Kinsman, Ohio.
Burial will follow in St. Mary's Church Cemetery in Orwell, Ohio.
William K. Harkonen
WARREN - William K. Harkonen, 86, died Saturday, Oct. 13., 2001, at St. Joseph Health Center, Warren,
Born April 13, 1913, in Chardon, he was the son of Charles and Elviria (Kortes) Harkonen and was a lifelong area resident.
Mr. Harkonen was a clerk at a Warren pharmacy for many years.
A graduate of Warren G. Harding High School, Warren, he served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He enjoyed fishing, traveling to Canada and Florida and watching football.
He is survived by his wife, Gertrude (Ohtola), to whom he was married 54 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Ray.
A private funeral service will be observed. Burial will be the Middlefield Cemetery, Middlefield.

Wilma C. North
WARREN - Wilma C. North, 77, of Tait Road, died Sunday, Feb. 17, 2002, at her home.
She was born March 3, 1924, in Conneaut, the daughter of George and Nellie (Everhart) Cornell, and had lived in the Warren area for the past 50 years.
She worked 32 years as a press operator at Packard Electric, retiring in 1980.
She married Kenneth North on Jan. 18, 1941.
She enjoyed camping, crocheting and growing flowers.
Survivors include a son, William of Lordstown; two daughters, Marian Fox of Lordstown, and Melva Weber of Southington; 17 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; a brother, Wallace Cornell of Meadville; and two sisters, Neoma Ziggler of Pierpont Township, and Thora Schepis of Osteen, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her husband on April 4, 1988; a grandson; and a sister, Winifred Ziggler.
Service is 11 a.m. Thursday at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, 533 N. Park Ave., Warren. Burial will be at Meadow Brook Memorial Park, Warren.
Calling hours are 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
