Funeral Mass for Michael E. Yohman, 43, of Madison, will be 9:30 a.m. Friday September 24, 2004 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Road, in Mentor.
Mr. Yohman died Sept. 19, 2004, at his residence. He was born Dec. 12, 1960, in Cleveland, he lived in Mentor before moving to Madison six years ago.
He attended the University of Cincinnati. Mr. Yohman was a computer engineer and owned Twin Source Company, makers of electronic products in Solon for the past four years.
Survivors are his wife, Amy (Salinger) Yohman; mother, Dolores Ann (Davis) Yohman of Concord Township; sister, Kathy Yohman of Mentor; stepmother, Frances Yohman of Concord Township; stepdaughter, Olivia Mascia; stepbrother, Chris Mattox of Athens, Ohio; and nieces, Lauren and Kaitlyn Yohman.
His father, Edward J. Yohman; and brother, Mark E. Yohman, are deceased.
Friends may call 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Brunner Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor.
Burial will be in Mentor Cemetery.

Funeral mass for Margaret L. Simon (nee Nainiger), age 68 of Kirtland, will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 5, 2004 at Divine Word Catholic Church, 8100 Eagle Rd., Kirtland.
Mrs. Simon died Saturday October 2, 2004 at her residence. She was born August 23, 1936 in Cleveland, she lived in Willowick before moving to Kirtland in 1979.
She loved to bowl, travel to Florida and various casinos, play pinochle, do crossword puzzles, landscape, yardwork and gardening. She was a member of the Independent Order of Forresters #1120. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and family.
Mrs. Simon Was the Secretary/Treasurer for Realty Title Agents, Inc. in Painesville.
Survivors include husband of 44 years, William P.; children: John A. (Kerrianne) of Willoughby Hills, Marla (Salvador) Gutierrez of Willowick and Sheryl M. Simon of Willowick; grandchildren: Salvi and Mateo Gutierrez and Becka and Jared Simon.
Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-9pm Monday at BRUNNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, 8466 MENTOR AVE., MENTOR.
Interment, All Souls Cemetery, Chardon.

Memorial service for William J. Varga, age 87, of Mentor will be held 4:30 p.m. Saturday October 2, 2004 at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor.
Mr. Varga died Friday Sept 24, 2004 at Altercare of Mentor. He was born November 9, 1916 in Buffalo N.Y., he had lived in Buffalo before moving to Mentor 10 years ago.
Mr. Varga was an account manager at Schwebels from 1987 – 1994. He was also a manager at A & P for 25 years and was a co-owner of MNB Super market in Lockport NY. He was a member of the riverside lions club in Buffalo and a graduate of Riverside High class of 1934 in Buffalo.
Survivors include his wife Marie of 54 years, daughter Jeanne Gibson of Mentor, son Charles W. Varga of Williamsville NY, grandchildren Daniel and William Gibson and Karine Varga, step grand children Tarra and Ashley Carr, brother Joseph and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Vital and Rose Varga and his brothers Steven and Louis Varga.
Family will receive friends from 2:30 – 4:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
mivian I. Sechler, age 79, of Kirtland. Mrs. Sechler died Wednesday, September 22, 2004 at her residence. She was born December 30, 1924 in Cleveland.
Mrs. Sechler was a printer and worked at the Plain Dealer.
Survivors include her husband John W.; children Janine Sechler of Kirtland, John Sechler of California, Jay Sechler of Kirtland, and Vicki Sechler of California; grandchildren Joshua, Jason, John, and Elijah; sister Virginia Winch of Johnstown, Pennsylvania; brothers Albert (Katie) Mackell of Euclid and Calvin (Jan) Mackell of California.
She was preceded in death by her parents Clifford and Edith Mackell.

Funeral mass for Gary D. Whetzel Jr., age 44, a lifelong Mentor resident, will be held 9:30 a.m. Saturday September 25, 2004 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Rd., Concord Twp.
Mr. Whetzel died Monday September 20, 2004 at Solon Medical Center in Solon. He was born June 24, 1960 Cleveland.
A Bricklayer, member of Bricklayers local #5 in Cleveland for many years. Some of the projects that Gary did the tuck-point restoration work included; Soldiers and Sailors Monument, Downtown, Colonial Arcade and the BP building.
Gary played Bass & Electric Guitar for various bands in the Lake & Cuyahoga counties area. Loved riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle.
urvivors include his Mother Joanne K. Whetzel Malnar (Corrao); Sisters Kelly (John) Sajovic of Leo, Indiana, Leslie Malnar of Mentor and Stacie Malnar of Willoughby; brother Mark (Christy) Malnar of Mentor; step-sister Cheryl (Rich) DeFrancesco of Chardon; step-brothers Gary (Chris) Malnar of Jefferson and Jerry Malnar of Willoughby; many nieces & nephews; uncle; Daniel (Patricia) Carrao of Ocala, Fla.

Funeral mass for Irene G. Salay, age 88, of Mentor-on-the-Lake will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday October 11, 2004 at St. Mary of Assumption Church, 8560 Mentor Ave., Mentor.
Mrs. Salay died Thursday, October 7, 2004 at Hospice House in Cleveland. She was born April 7, 1916 in Cleveland, she lived in Mentor, before moving to Mentor-on-the-Lake three years ago.
Mrs. Salay worked as a secretary for many years in the insurance business and was a case worker for Lake County for 15 years.
She is survived by her sister Ethel Lekutis of Mentor-on-the-Lake, Brother – Winston (Linda) Guy of Chardon. And many nieces and nephews.
Her husband Francis C. Salay, Sister –Evelyn Stanizewski, Brothers – Jack and Edward Guy, and Parents – Edward & Ida Guy are deceased.
The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Sunday at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor.

Funeral service for Harold J. Wilt, age 64, of Lake County, will be 11 a.m. Saturday March 5, 2005 at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor.
Mr. Wilt died Feb. 28, 2005, at LakeWest Hospital in Willoughby. He was born July 2, 1940, in Rowlesburg, W.Va., he lived in Cleveland before moving to Lake County 25 years ago.
He was a 1958 graduate of Collinwood High School. He loved woodworking.
Mr. Wilt was a retired night crew assistant manager at Rini-Rego Supermarket, formerly Fisher Foods in Mentor for 24 years until his retirement in 1992. Prior to that, he worked at Lindsey Wire in Cleveland.
Survivors are his wife of 24 years, Judith A. Wilt; daughters, Sandra (Alfred) Perry of Ruston, La. and Kelly Johnson of Painesville; son, David (Laurie) Wilt of LaPorte, Texas; stepdaughters, Bridget (Art) Griffin of Euclid and Bonnie (Gary) Suydam of Chardon; stepson, Edgar Brott Jr. of Painesville; grandchildren, Jazmyn, Merissa, Nicholas, Nathaniel, Katie, Benjamin, Alonzo, Ahmad, Tyler, Allison, Taylor, Bethany and Andrew; great-grandchildren, Devin and Kayla; sisters, Helen (Earl) Jones of Belington, W.Va. and Freda (Lee) Proudfoot of Philippi, W.Va.; and brothers, Everett (Vivian) Wilt of Chester Township, Calvin "Ross" (Rosemary) Wilt of Mentor, Clifford (Nancy) Wilt of Melbourne, Fla. and Cecil (Cathy) Wilt of Fayetteville, N.C.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Lavada Wilt.
