Funeral service for Virginia M. Neibert, age 87, of Mentor will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday February 28, 2005 at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor.
Mrs. Neibert died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2005 at Homestead I Nursing Home in Painesville. She was born Sept. 22, 1917 in Cleveland and lived in Mentor for many years. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her daughter – Patricia Barber of Mentor, Sons – James Edward (Linda) Neibert of Cleveland, Richard Alan Neibert of Cleveland, Five Grandchildren, Six Great-grandchildren, Sisters – Elizabeth Ezzo of N. Olmstead, Vera (Robert) Edmond of Brookpark, Brothers – Charles (Gennie) Blain of Rocky River, and Harold (Alice) Blain of Grand Island, N. York.
She was preceded in death by her husband James, Sister – Hazel Buckwald, Brother – Robert Blain, Parents – Charles & Ethel Blain.
Family will receive friends 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Interment Mentor Cemetery.
The family suggests contributions to the family or Hospice of the Western Reserve, 5786 Heisley Road, Mentor, Ohio 44060.

Funeral service for Martha E. "Marty" Roberts, age 89, of Mentor-on-the-Lake, will be 11 a.m. Friday, March 28, 2008, at Brunner Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor. Mrs. Roberts died Tuesday, March 25, 2008, at Southwest Commons in Strongsville. She was born Sept. 13, 1918, in Dundalk, Md., she had lived in Windber, Pa., before moving to Mentor-on-the-Lake 58 years ago.
She served in the U.S. Army Nursing Corps during World War II. She belonged to Saint Mary Assumption Catholic Church in Mentor, Mentor Senior Citizens, and Wednesday Morning Women's League at Blackbrook Golf Course. She loved to golf.
Mrs. Roberts was a retired RN from Huron Road Hospital, where she worked for 12 years. She also worked as an RN at Euclid General Hospital.
Survivors are her two sons, Barry (Joanne) Roberts of Columbus and Rex (Louise) Roberts of Huntingtown, Md.; three grandchildren, Eric (Patricia) Roberts, Scott (Amanda) Roberts and Lori Roberts; 13 great-grandchildren; and two sisters-in-law, June King of Buffalo, N.Y., and Mae Roberts of Huntsville, Ala. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald R. Roberts; parents, Francis and Pearl King; and four brothers, Leonard, Jack, Francis X., and Donald King.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 27, 2008, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chester Township.
The family suggests contributions be made to Harbor Light Hospice, 34950 Chardon Road, Suite 102, Willoughby Hills, OH 44094.

Paul E. Robinson, age 79, of North Ridgeville and formerly of Newton Falls. Beloved husband of Loraine of 57 years. Dearest father of Eddie (Elizabeth) Robinson, Yvonne Robinson and Laverne (Dale) Hanewinckel. Dear grandfather of Rachel, Angie, Brandon and Paige. Great grandfather of Ryan and Tyler. Brother of Sam Robinson, Jr and Alger Robinson and the late Oral, Jimmy, Melvin, Buford, Alberta, Dixie. Son of the late Sam Robinson, Sr. and Ethel Robinson.
Paul worked for GM at the Lordstown Plant as an inspector. He enjoyed his family, fishing, hunting, boating, gardening, and farming.
Friends may call FROM 2-4 AND 6-8 P.M. SUNDAY MARCH 30, 2008 at BRUNNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, 8466 MENTOR AVE., MENTOR, OHIO 44060. Service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 31, 2008 at the funeral home. Burial Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chester Twp.

Funeral mass for Sarah Bishop Trepanier, age 70, of Mentor, a homemaker, will 10 a.m. Wednesday March 2, 2005 at Immaculate Conception Church, 37940 Euclid Ave., in Willoughby.
Mrs. Trepanier died Feb. 26, 2005, at Manor Care Nursing Home in Willoughby. She was born Feb. 1, 1935, in Cleveland.
She loved children, horses and horseback riding.
Mrs. Trepanier worked as an LPN.
Survivors are her husband, Edward J.; children, Jeanne Schneider of Lakewood, Elizabeth (Kevin) Cain of San Diego, Calif., Edward P. Trepanier of Willoughby, Patricia (Danny) Parsons of Ashland, Ala., Susan Trepanier of Houston, Tex., Nancy (Bill) Gore of Rome, Ga., and Mary Kay Butler of Lineville, Ala.; nine grandchildren; brothers, Alvord (Barbara) Bishop and William (Nancy) Bishop; and sister, Kitty (Thomas) Sarosy.
Her parents, Alvord and Betty Bishop, are deceased.
Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Brunner Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., in Mentor.
Inurnment will be in Plains Road Cemetery in Willoughby.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Cleveland Area Chapter, 12200 Fairhill Road, Cleveland 44120.

Funeral services for Bernice M. Nicholas, 82, of Mentor, will be 11 a.m. Thursday May 8, 2008 at Brunner Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor. Mrs. Nicholas died Saturday, May 3, 2008, at Heartland of Mentor. She was born March 5, 1926, in Ashtabula, she had lived there before moving to Mentor 59 years ago.
She was a member of Mentor United Methodist Church and Past President of Mentor Cardinals Women's Club. She loved cooking, canning, gambling excursions, reading and writing poems. Mrs. Nicholas was a retired LPN from Richmond Heights Hospital and Wickliffe Country Place, retiring in 1991.
Survivors are her daughter, Dessa Nicholas-Horvath of Mentor; son, Dale Nicholas of Mentor; three grandchildren, Laura, Shannon and Darren (fiancee, Darcy Klima) Horvath; brother, Louis (Ann) Mongenel of California; related by love, not blood, Colleen Campbell, Glenna Alland and Paul Ruez; and dog, Laila. She was preceded in death by her husband, Olney Nicholas; sons, Dean E. Nicholas and Daryl O. Nicholas; father, Fred Matela; mother, Eva Kuhn; and brother, Merlon Mongenel.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mentor Cemetery.

Funeral service for Ellen B. Madill, age 98, of Mentor-on-the-Lake, a homemaker, will be 2 p.m. Friday April 4, 2008 at Belsano United Methodist Church, 3752 Ben Franklin Highway, Belsano, PA 15931. Mrs. Madill died Tuesday, April 1, 2008, at Mentor Way Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Mentor. She was born March 30, 1910, in Belsano, Pa., she had lived there before moving to Mentor-on-the-Lake six years ago.
She enjoyed traveling and spending her winters in Florida. Mrs. Madill was a former member of Belsano United Methodist Church and a current member of the Mentor Senior Center.
Survivors are her son, Robert (Ruth) Madill of Mentor-on-the-Lake; grandchildren, Shawn (Carrie Hulten) Madill of Madison and Brian (Stacie) Madill of Aurora; and great-grandchildren, Molly, Ben, Danica, Jadyn, Kathleen and Kaitlyn. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Madill; parents, Monroe and Bertha Learn; and four siblings.
Friends may call from 1 p.m. until the time of the service Friday at the church. Interment will be in Belsano Methodist Cemetery in Belsano.

Memorial Mass for Richard F. Novak, age 76, of Perry Township, will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 28, 2008, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 242 N. State St., Painesville. Mr. Novak died Wednesday, April 23, 2008, at his residence. He was born April 12, 1932, in Cleveland, he lived in Mentor before moving to Perry Township more than 25 years ago.
He enjoyed traveling, working in his yard and on computers, and spending time with his granddaughters. Mr. Novak was a vice president in Mortgage Lending for more than 30 years for Charter One Bank in Cleveland.
Survivors are his wife of 47 years, Mary (Lausche); son, Mark (Mary Ellen) Novak of South Carolina; and granddaughters, Caroline, Mary Margaret and Grace. He was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 5786 Heisley Road, Mentor, OH 44060, or St. Vincent DePaul Society of St. Mary Church, 242 N. State St., Painesville, OH 44077.

Funeral Mass for John J. Musial, age 83, of Kirtland, will be 10 a.m. Saturday, May 17, at Chapel of the Divine Word, 8100 Eagle Road, Kirtland. Mr. Musial died May 10, 2008, in the Palliative Care Center of the Cleveland Clinic. He was born June 21, 1924, in Uniontown, Pa., he lived with his family for 42 years in Kirtland.
He served in the 82nd Airborne Division of the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a devoted fan of the Cleveland Browns, Indians and Cavaliers. Mr. Musial was the co-founder and president of Transcon Inc., in Mentor for 49 years, and also founded and built Powderhorn Golf Course in Madison.
Survivors are his beloved family: his wife of 58 years, Sophia Musial; son, John L. (Colleen) Musial of Painesville; daughters, Patricia (Roy) Gogolin of Mentor, Kathleen (Bob) McNamara of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Marian (Patrick) Beirne of Denver, Colo.; grandchildren, John and Michael Musial, Ryan (Lori) Gogolin, Kathryn (Steve) Reynolds, Alix, Daniel and Jacob McNamara, and Joseph, Christopher and Shannon Beirne; great-grandsons, Luke and Thomas Gogolin; sisters, Marcella Caton of Wickliffe and Veronica (Bob) Hanyo of Uniontown, Pa.; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his infant son, Joseph; and his parents, John and Anna Musial.
Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, May 16, at Brunner Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor. Burial will be at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
