Funeral Mass for Janez "John" Bostjancic, age 77, of Willoughby for the past 12 years, formerly of Alliance, will be 12 noon Wednesday at St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Road, Mentor. Mr. Bostjancic died Monday, April 21, 2008, at his residence.
Born September 26, 1930, in Ilistra Bistra, Yugoslavia. He served in the Yugoslavian Army. Mr. Bostjancic was a former member of St. Joseph's Church in Alliance and a member of St. John Vianney Church in Mentor. He was an avid gardener and also grew fruit trees. He retired as a foreman from the former American Steel where he worked for 32 years until retiring in 1993.
Survivors are his wife of 12 years, Anna Klammer Bostjancic; daughter, Jane (Kevin) Lippiatt of Salem; son, Jim (Deb) Bostjancic of Macedonia; stepdaughter, Ann (Michael) Crossen of Mentor; stepson, Martin (Patricia) Klammer of Chagrin Falls; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Bostjancic.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until 12 noon Wednesday in the Chapel at St. John Vianney Church. Committal Service will be 10 a.m. Thursday in the chapel at Highland Memorial Park, 264 South 12th St., Beloit, Ohio.

Services for Denise L. Bowen (Weber), age 48, of Willoughby, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor. Mrs. Bowen died Thursday, April 17, 2008, at University Hospitals in Cleveland.
Born April 17, 1960, in Euclid, she was a lifelong Willoughby resident. She was a member of Mentor Community Church of God. She loved ceramics and camping in the "Rolling Hilton".Mrs. Bowen was a homemaker.
Survivors are her husband of 31 years, William "Bill" Bowen Sr. of Willoughby; sons, William Bowen Jr. of Willoughby and Chris Bowen of Willoughby; daughter, Jennifer "Jenny" Bowen of Willoughby; seven grandchildren, Lexi Bowen, Spencer Bowen, Kyle Basham, Tyler Kerr, Meagan Kerr, Ashton Kerr and Emily Kerr; brothers, Ronald J. (Darby) Weber of Chardon and Steve (Michelle) Weber of Mentor; nieces, Paige and Faith Weber; nephews, Austin and Aaron Jacob Weber; and uncle, Bob (Joanne) Anderson of Concord Twp. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sally Weber.

Services for Emmett S. Brenizer Jr., age 80, of Parma, will be 11 a.m. Monday at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor.
Mr. Brenizer died April 17, 2008, at Parma General Hospital in Parma. Born Oct. 28, 1927, in Cleveland, he lived in Bedford Heights and Willowick before moving to Parma eight years ago. He enjoyed puzzles, gambling trips to Las Vegas, West Virginia and Canada. He was also an avid collector of hats and coins. Mr. Brenizer was an electrician for Conrail Railroad for many years prior to his retirement.
Survivors are his children, Richard (Nancy) Brenizer of Garfield Heights, Mark (Karen) Brenizer of Madison, Frank (Francine) Brenizer of South Euclid, Matthew Brenizer of Cleveland, James (Connie) Brenizer of Cleveland, Robert (Lori) Brenizer of Germany and Tammy (Allen) Preneta of Cleveland; 15 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sister, Constance Gerez of Rock Creek; and special friend, Mary Ann Christian of Parma. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emmett S. Sr. and Ivy Brenizer; children, Timothy Brenizer and Pamela Goldy; and former wife, Ellen Brenizer.

Funeral Mass for Serafina "Sara" (Falcone) Canzone, age 92, of Willoughby for the past ten years, formerly of the Collinwood area, a homemaker, will be 10 a.m. Friday April 18, 2008 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 29840 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe. Mrs. Canzone died Tuesday, April 15, 2008, at Hospice House in Cleveland. She was born June 24, 1915, in Comune Di Teramo, Italy.
Mrs. Canzone was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. She lived at the Lithuanian Home and loved to line dance with friends at the senior center. She loved music, reading and visiting family and friends.
Survivors are her son, Anthony "Tony" (Fran) Canzone of Concord Township; grandchildren, Tony (Dana) Canzone and Mark Canzone; and great-granddaughter, Mia Canzone. She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony J. Canzone; daughter, Madeline Canzone; her parents, Paufilo and Maddalena Falcone; and brother, Frank Falcone.

Funeral Mass for Catherine B. "Kay" (Merkowitz) Jaborsky, 76, of Mentor, formerly of Perry, will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday April 3, 2008 at St. Gabriel Church, 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Road, Concord Township. Mrs. Jaborsky died Saturday, March 29, 2008, at Hospice House in Cleveland. She was born May 20, 1931, in Chester, Pa.
She was a member of St. Gabriel Church, Christ Child Society, Alonon for 37 years and loved to quilt, do needle work, read books and collect antiques. Mrs. Jaborsky was a retired bookkeeper from Linderme Tube Company in Euclid, retiring in 2001. She had previously worked at the former Tartan Marine in Grand River.
Survivors are her husband of 49 years, John "Jack" Jaborsky of Mentor; daughter, Catherine R. (Dr. Paul) Hogya of Cincinnati; two grandchildren, Emily and Alexis Hogya; sister, Geni Fochtman of Concord Township; and brother, Frank (Dolores) Merkowitz of Willoughby. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Genevieve Merkowitz; sister, Mary Cross; and brother, Charles Dooling.

Funeral service for Martha J. "Jean" Hall, age 77, of Painesville for the past 37 years, formerly of Grand River and Rivesville, W.Va., will be 9:30 a.m. Wednesday April 2, 2008 at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor. Mrs. Hall died Friday, March 28, 2008, at Golden Ridge Assisted Living Group Home in Concord. She was born Jan. 26, 1931, in Beaver Falls, Pa.
A homemaker, Mrs. Hall loved to crochet, cook, bake, can and take care of her flower garden. She was a member of Morton Salt Retirees.
Survivors are her daughter, Karen L. (Robert) Zaller of Newbury; her sons, Jimmie (Brenda) Hall of Ellijay, Ga. and Greg D. (Penny) Hall of Bainbridge; grandchildren, Eric and Ryan Vidischak, Erin Renee Seeley, Cassie Anne Hall, Brittani Bielfelt and Alyssa Nicole Hall; and great-granddaughter, Ashlyn Rene Seeley. She was preceded in death by her husband, James "Junior" Hall Jr.; parents, George and Virginia Harlow; sisters, Sis McDaniel and Kate Barks; and brother, Jack Harlow.

Mrs. Hunter had been an RN at Lakewood Hospital for 15 years. She had been a member of P.E.O.

Richard "Dick" Ensinger, died March 27, 2008, after a long life. He was born Aug. 30, 1920, in Cleveland, Ohio, Dick was the son of the late Nina (Palmer) and Charles Ensinger and brother to the late Earl, Lester and Lee Ensinger.
Dick was the president of his class at Collinwood High School. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II as a machinist on the destroyer tender, Klondike. During his time in the Navy, Dick met and married Eleanor (O'Neill) Ensinger.
After the war, Dick worked in manufacturing, with ever increasing responsibility, for Thompson Products (TRW), Parker-Hannifin and Curtis-Wright. Dick was an avid wood worker and in retirement he made furniture for friends and family. A loving and patient father and grandfather, Dick will be missed by all that loved him.
Survivors are his wife, Eleanor; sons, Charles (Lynne) Ensinger of Beeville, Texas and Peter Ensinger of Willoughby; daughter, Janet (James) Payne of Bonita Springs, Fla.; grandchildren, Fred, Andrew, Katherine and David Ensinger; and great-grandchildren, Tucker and Reagan Ensinger.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 1, at Jennings Center for Older Adults, 10204 Granger Road, Garfield Heights.
The family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, March 31, at Brunner Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor. Interment will be in Mentor Cemetery.
