Funeral mass for Sheila L. Davis (nee Young), age 67, of Painesville will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Rd., Concord Twp.
Mrs. Davis was born Aug 16, 1933 in Edinburgh, Scotland.
She died Sat April 6, 2002 at her residence, she has lived in Painesville for the last 48 years.
For 17 years she worked for the Cleveland Diocese, C.Y.O. and with the Boy Scouts. She was a member of St Gabriel Catholic Church, Concord Twp., Secular Order of Franciscans and volunteered many years at Lake County Jail
Survivors include her husband Rev. Norman Davis, Deacon at St. Gabriel Church, whom she was married to for 48 years; Her children: Lynnette (Charles) Becks, and Judy (Randy) McClintock both of Concord Twp., Keith (Beth) Davis of Gilbert Ariz., and Stuart Davis of Wickliffe; her grandchildren: Charles(Joni) Becks, Brett & Mark Becks, Kyle & Evan McClintock; 1 great granddaughter Alexandria Becks; She is also survived by her brother Alan (Evelyn) Young of Holyhead, Wales
She is preceded in death by her parents: James A. Young & Miriam Young Reed.

Calvin L. Glasscock, 85, of Mentor, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2011, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born Nov. 14, 1925, in Mobley W.Va.
Calvin served in the U.S. Army, serving in WWII before being honorably discharged.
Mr. Glasscock retired from T.R.W. in 1982, as a machine operator after 35 years.
Calvin volunteered at food banks, Lake Hospital, Civil Defense and a fireman for Mentor.
He loved working in his yard, camping, and spending time with his grandchildren. He belonged to Church of Christ in Mentor, where he volunteered a lot of his time.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret; children, Brenda (Carl) Wolford of Mentor and Ron (Colleen) Glasscock of Wickliffe; grandchildren, Kimberly (Ricky) Ford of Columbus and Casey (Rona) Wolford of Katy, Texas; great-grandchildren, Jeremy, Caden and Madison; brother, Charles Glasscock of Smithfield, W.Va.; and sister, Donna Morris of Wellsville.
He was preceded in death by two sisters; three brothers; and parents, Raymond and Olive Glasscock.
A funeral service will be held 2:30 p.m. Sunday, October 2, 2011 at Church of Christ, 7201 Burridge Ave., Mentor.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor.

Funeral mass for Kathleen A. McLeod (O’Donnell), age 94, of Madison will be held Friday at 11:00 A.M. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 2846 S. Hubbard Road, Madison, Ohio.
Mrs. McLeod died Monday at Geneva Hospital.
She was born March 12, 1908 in Birmingham, England, she lived in Wickliffe before moving to Madison.
Mrs. McLeod was a manager for 30 years at Fisher Foods and also worked as a sales clerk for Halle’s.
She is survived by her Son – Donald (Joan) McLeod of Madison, Daughter – Kathy McLeod of Madison; Grandchildren – Cheryl McLeod, Donald (Karen) McLeod, Mark McLeod; Great-grandchildren – Meredith, Jessica, Matthew.
She is preceded in death by her husband – Eugene McLeod, Daughter – Sheila McLeod, Parents- James and Alice O’Donnell, Sisters – Eileen, Alice, Nancy, and Brothers – Francis, Dick, Jim.
Interment All Souls Cemetery, Chardon Twp.

Peggy Earlene (Foljambe) Osborn, age 92, of Mentor, formerly of Toledo, died Oct. 21, 2010, at Flower Hospital in Sylvania. She was born Aug. 4, 1918, in Madison. Mrs. Osborn was a homemaker.
Survivors are her son, Dan Osborn of Florida; sister, Harriet Ann Miller of Mentor; other loving family members; and great-grandchildren, Katelin Osborn and Avalyn Rose Brewer, who were the light of her life. Although they lived far away, she particularly loved singing them children's songs over the phone at bedtime. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Osborn; and sons, Terry Carson and Dale Osborn. Mrs. Osborn has finally met her loving husband, Robert at the rainbow bridge along with their four dogs Sadie, Shari, Buttercup and Claude.
Private family graveside services will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Painesville. Arrangements are entrusted to Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Mentor.
A funeral mass for Betty M. (nee Reminder) Stenger, age 82, a homemaker, will be 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Bede the Venerable Catholic Church, 9114 Lakeshore Blvd, Mentor, Ohio 44060.
Mrs. Stenger died Monday Feb 4, 2002 at Governors Pointe in Mentor.
She was born November 23, 1919 in Cleveland, she lived in Mentor for the last 17 years.
Survivors include children, Carole (Al) Prohaska of Mentor, Rick (Joan) Stenger of Kirtland, Rob (Laura) Stenger of Willoughby and Judy (Kip) Curran of Mentor; Grandchildren, Traci (Jimmy) Riccitello, Scott (Cindy) Newman, Chris Newman, Diane (Paul) Roberto, Mary Ann (Jeff) Kassouf, Allen (Danielle) Prohaska, Kimberly, Kelly, Michael, Mark and Jeff Stenger, Keri and Erin Curran; Great Grandchildren Ellie Roberto, Michael, Kevin and Tessa Newman; Brother Paul F. Reminder; Sister Mary Lou (Edward) Bryndal of Willoughby. Survived by many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Stenger is preceded in death by her husband Robert H.; son Paul R. Stenger; Sisters Jean Reminder and Trudy Paul.

A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate the life of Edward F. Shenk, 81, of Willoughby, will be at 12.30pm on Saturday at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 7575 Bellflower Road in Mentor.
Mr. Shenk entered Eternal Life February 6, 2002 at Cleveland Clinic.
Born May 23, 1920 in Cleveland, he lived the last 50 years in Lake County. He served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corps 9th Air Force, stationed in England during World War II. He retired from the White Motor Co. after 37 years. Mr. Shenk loved his family and was a friend to many. He enjoyed a variety of hobbies, and cherished life.
Survivors are his children: Thomas Edward of Baltimore, Elaine (Alan) DeMaison of Mentor, Christine Hartog of Mentor, Mary Jo (Ray) Somich of Willoughby Hills, Leonard (Jan) of Columbus, Loretta (Andrew) Somich of Perry, and Edward (Theresa) of Concord; his brother Louis (Al) of Cleveland; his sister Matilda (Tillie) of Euclid; nineteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; his second wife, Rose (Kramer) and her family; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Preceding him in death were his sister Ann (Opara), and his wife Theresa (Petrocy), who entered Eternal Life on October 31, 1978.

Funeral Service for Janet Marie Stalker, age 37, of Painesville Twp. will be 10:00 a.m. Monday at Faith Lutheran Church 8125 Mentor Ave., Mentor.
Mrs. Stalker died Wednesday, February 6, 2002 at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield.
She was born June 14, 1964 in Lakewood, Ohio, she lived in Mentor before moving to Painesville Twp. 12 years ago
Mrs. Stalker was an office manager for Community Internists Inc. in Mayfield Heights for many years. A 1982 Graduate of Mentor High School. Enjoyed outdoor camping and hiking and just having fun with her daughter Kathryn. She loved to play with her dog, Brandon. She was a loving, kind-hearted person and a devoted Christian. Her daughter and husband were the love of her life.
Survivors include her beloved husband Gregory J. of 10 years; dear daughter Kathryn Marie at home; step-son Allen J. Stalker of Madison; parents John and Lois Ehrman of Painesville; sisters Theresa (Michael) Manary of Painesville and Christina (Jeff) Lettis of N. Chili, New York; brother John Ehrman of Mentor; nieces Tiphaine, Deanna, and Cassandra Lettis and Melissa Stalker and Emily and Jessica Wheeler; nephews Patrick and Ryan Manary, Brian, Sean, Mark, and Adam Mullowney, and Rob Fishleigh; in-laws John and Mary York of Concord; brother-in-law Geoffrey of Eastlake; sisters-in-law Cindy (Mark) Mullowney of Concord and Mary M.
