Geoffrey J. O'Connor, 63, of Mentor, died Aug. 5, 2010, at Lake West Medical Center in Willoughby. He was born April 24, 1947, in Cleveland.
Mr. O'Connor worked for Security Source as a purchasing agent.
Survivors are his wife, Maureen; children, Kristi O'Connor of Mentor, Bryan O'Connor of Willoughby and Kerri O'Connor of Mentor; grandchild, Brennon; brother, Greg (Tracye) O'Connor of Springfield, Ill.; sister, Candace O'Connor of Mentor; and brother, and Robert (Judith) O' Connor of Cincinnati.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Irene O' Connor.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday August 7, 2010 at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor.
Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Ruby E. Harris, age 89, of Painesville, passed away peacefully Monday July 13, 2009, at her residence. She was born March 28, 1920, in Sparta, Ill., to Toy and Maggie Lee Williams.
Mrs. Harris was a member of Union Pentecostal U.H.C.A. in Painesville and was on the Mother's Board at the church. She was well known in the community for reciting memorized poems, "The Creation" being the best known.
She is survived by her daughters, Evelyn Timley and Judith (Ernest) Jones, both of Painesville; sons, Thomas T. Harris of Rosamond, Calif., and Ronnie Harris of Phoenix, Ariz.; brother, Roger E. Williams of St. Louis, Mo.; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; relatives; friends; and special friends, Wayne and Jean Ross.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas H. Harris Sept. 3, 1979; daughter, Grace Ann Aug. 17, 2008; sisters, Lugene Cole-Bell, Geraldine Williams and Murtis Pullman; and brother, Searcy Williams.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday July 18, 2009 at Union Pentecostal U.H.C.A., 159 Matthews St., Painesville, OH 44077. Bishop James A. Koonce will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the church prior to the service. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery in Painesville.

Frances Kurowski, 85, of Painesville Township, formerly of Euclid, died Sunday, June 28, 2009, at Lake East Medical Center in Painesville. She was born July 19, 1923, in New Philadelphia, Pa.
Mrs. Kurowski was a seamstress and a homemaker. She had attended both St. Paul's Church and St. Christine's Church in Euclid. Frances enjoyed dancing (polkas), playing cards with her friends, traveling to casinos, cooking and making Polish food for her family.
Survivors are her daughter, Joyce (John) Conti of Sagamore Hills; son, Jerry (Sue) Kurowski of Concord Township; grandchildren, Brad (Eileen), Jeff (Abigail) and Jenna; great-grandchild, Mikayla; and beloved companion, Malcolm Shields.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard; parents, Joseph and Rose Kondertavage; three sisters; and two brothers.
Funeral Mass will be 9:30 a.m. Thursday, July 2, 2009, at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Road, Concord Township, OH 44060.
Family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave. Mentor. Interment will be in Mentor Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Cleveland Area Chapter, P.O. Box 74924, Cleveland, OH 44194-4924.

Mary M. Conner, age 89, of Mentor since 1962, died Saturday, Nov. 13, 2010, at Chardon Healthcare. She was born April 29, 1921, in Cleveland.
Mrs. Conner was a machine operator at P.C.A. Packaging Corp. of America for many years.
She was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church and loved to spend time with her family and friends. She liked to bowl and golf, which she was able to do up until her early 80s with her good health.
Survivors are her daughter, Patricia Skiljan of Arizona; two granddaughters, Jessicca and Chelsea Skiljan; two great-granddaughters, Mara and Kassidy Anderson; niece, Barbara (William) Galeno of Willoughby and nephew, Paul (Thonda) Conner of Mississippi.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Conner.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday November 17, 2010 at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 8560 Mentor Ave., Mentor (Please meet at the church).
The family will receive friends 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor. Interment will be at Mentor Cemetery in Mentor.
The family will host a reception immediately following the burial at the Brunner Community Room.
Contributions may be made in Mrs. Conner's memory to a Hospice organization of your choice.

Edna L. Bell-Winland, age 88, of Perry Township since 1982, formerly of Madison, died Aug. 23, 2010, at Golden Living Center of the Western Reserve in Kirtland. She was born Sept. 27, 1921, in Elizabethton, Tenn.
Mrs. Bell-Winland was a co-owner of the former Brass Lantern Antiques in Madison. Prior to that, she was a manager of Uncle Joe's in Geneva and had worked for a longtime at the Uncle Joe's in Painesville.
She was a lifetime member of the Garden Club in Madison and enjoyed antiques and going to auctions.
Survivors include her daughter, Betty (Antone) Schlauch of Perry Township; grandchildren, Tyson R. Bell, Karleen Cawley, Tina (David) Sherry and Doug Schlauch; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Toni and Jeremiah; daughter-in-law, Sandra Bell; and sisters, Evelyn McDaniel of Texas and Louise Noonan of Florida.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Howard Bell; second husband, Ray Winland; son, Ronald E. Bell; sister, Mary; brother, Joe.
Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday August 26, 2010 at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor, OH 44060.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Perry Township Cemetery.

Ernie D. Smith, age 52, of Mentor for the past 23 years. Mr. Smith died Thursday Dec 6, 2001 at Lake Hospital Systems in Willoughby. He was born April 12, 1949 in Toledo.
An electronic technician for Inovision Radiation Measurements in Solon. Mr. Smith was a member of Western Reserve Emmaus and he attended the Perry Christian Church where he was also an elder. A cast member of Tetelestai and a member of the Lakeland Civic chorus. A U.S. Air Force Veteran.
Survivors include wife of 26 years Sharon (nee Evans); son Michael D. Smith; brothers Ronald Smith, Gerald Smith both of Michigan; sisters Tremaine (Tom) Boldt, Garnet Belair, Regina Wright and Deneise Russeau all of Michigan. Survived by 14 nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by sisters Theone and Kimberly Smith.
Funeral Service will be11 a.m. Monday at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave, Mentor.
Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Sat and 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Interment Mentor Cemetery, Mentor.

Sidney A. “Sid” Stacy, Sr, age 73, of Painesville Twp for the past 46 years. Mr. Stacy died Monday November 26, 2001 at Lake Med Nursing & Rehabilitation in Painesville. He was born September 27, 1928 in Chickamauga, Georgia.
Mr. Stacy was a piano tuner in Northeast Ohio since 1981, prior to that he was the head grocery clerk at Kroger for 34 years retiring in 1986. He attended the Painesville Assembly of God where he played the organ and was a former deacon. Mr. Stacy enjoyed Gospel music he was a pianist for a Gospel quartet for 15 years. He enjoyed fishing with his grandsons and traveling in his motorhome.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Louise. Children Faye (Larry) Harpster of Concord, Sidney (Kristin) Stacy, Jr of Painesville, William Paul (Edie) Stacy of Ashville, NC, Karen (Mark) Allen of Madison and Daryl Lee Stacy of Painesville.
13 Grandchildren. 10 Great Grandchildren.
Brother Lester Q. (Ruth) Stacy of Painesville, sister Reba (Judge William) Weaver of Mentor and brother Benton R. (Judy) Stacy of Moorseville, NC. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Aunt Virginia Wallace of Doyle, Tenn.
Mr. Stacy is preceded in death by sister Darrell Dee Guttschalk, brother Estelle Kewsen Stacy and parents Lester Porter and Georgia Bell Stacy.
Funeral Service 12 p.m Thursday at Painesville Assembly of God, 10949 Johnnycake Ridge Rd, Paiensville.
Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave, Mentor. 11a.m. – 12 p.m. Thursday at the Church.
Interment Mentor Cemetery, Mentor.
