Jean L. Wilkinson (Fox) age 79 of Mentor for the past 40 years formerly of Cleveland died Wednesday, April 4, 2001 at Altercare of Mentor in Concord Township. She was born September 1, 1921 in Cleveland.
Survivors include her daughter Cathy (Ron) Roberts of Mentor; sons Charles (Talma) Wilkinson of Painesville and Wayde Wilkinson of Orwell; grandchildren Lori Lane, Mark and Bruce Lane, Dustin W. Lane, and Shannon and Brandi Shuttleworth; great-grandchildren Lauren and Shelby Lane; 1 sister and 2 brothers.
She was preceded in death by her husband Carl A. and her daughter Bonnie Shuttleworth.
Private graveside services will be held.

Elizabeth “Bette” Zicari age 67 of Vine Grove, Kentucky formerly of Mentor died Sunday March 18, 2001 in Radcliff, Kentucky. She was born September 2, 1933 in Cleveland, Ohio.
Mrs. Zicari was a member of St John Vianney Catholic Church in Mentor and an assistant in the Treasurer's Office at Lake Catholic High School in Mentor.
Survivors include her husband Charles L. “Chuck” Zicari of Vine Grove, Kentucky; son Charles D. “Chuck” (Donna) Zicari of Vine Grove, Kentucky; daughter Michele (Jim) Bernot of Mentor; grandchildren Michael, Jillian and Jimmy Bernot and Dominic and Virgil Zicari; brother Joseph (Barbara) Gargiulo of Cincinnati; sister Kathy (Frank) Szomoru of Cleveland.
She was preceded in death by her parents Dominic & Elizabeth Gargiulo.
Memorial Mass 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Lake Catholic High School Chapel, 6733 Reynolds Rd. Mentor.
Interment was held in Otter Creek Cemetery, Vine Grove, Kentucky.
Jean A. (McKay) Barker, age 91, of Mentor passed away peacefully July 16, 2009 at her residence.
She was born July 15, 1918, in Cleveland and moved with her husband, Harry E. Barker, to Willoughby in 1946 and then to Mentor in 1960.
Mrs. Barker attended Fenn College in Cleveland, where she was a member of the Kappa Sigma Upsilon Sorority. She was a member of the Willoughby Fire Belles until 1961. She and her late husband helped to start the Maple Leaf Beamers.
Mrs. Barker was a retired executive secretary for W.S. Tyler.
Survivors include her sons, James Barker and Harry E. (Kim) Barker, III of Mentor; daughters, Judy Chapman of Mentor, Linda (Gary) Palinsky of Leroy and Barbara Ellen (James Jr.) Watson of Mentor; brothers, Donald (Jacqueline) McKay of Belgium and George (Doris) McKay of Lexington, K.y.; sister-in-law, Delores McKay of Mentor; 17 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and her dogs, Morgan and Maggie.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry E. Barker Jr.; parents, James and Emma (O'Riley) McKay; and brother, William McKay.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday July 20, 2009 at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor, OH 44060. Family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Interment Knollwood Cemetery in Mayfield Heights.

Matthew John Pohovey, 11 week old infant, of Painesville Township, Ohio died Saturday, March 24, 2001 at Lake Hospital System in Painesville, Ohio. Born January 7, 2001 in Willoughby, Ohio.
He is survived by parents Mark J. & Kimberly A. (nee Grote) of Painesville Twp; brother Luke Joseph Pohovey; maternal grandparents Bernard & Alberta Grote of Cincinnati; paternal grandparents James & Joan Pohovey of Canton; aunts Michelle( Jason) Edmonds of Portland, Oregon; Monica (Daniel) Shavers of Canton, Kathy (Tom) Aug of Cincinnati, Karen Grote of Cincinnati and Lynn (John) Maloney of Indianapolis, Indiana; uncles Mark (Christine) Grote of Cincinnati & David (Holly) Grote of Cincinnati; 18 Cousins.

Catherine M. Rembish (nee Russell) age 83 of Mentor-on-the-Lake formerly of Piney Fork, Ohio died Friday, March 30, 2001 at Western Reserve Convalescent Home in Kirtland. She was born September 28, 1917 in Cleveland, Ohio.
Mrs. Rembish was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband Fred of Piney Fork, Ohio; sons James (Linda) Crawford of Pepper Pike, William R. “Russ” (Denise) Crawford of Bainbridge, Vincent R. (Kathlene) Crawford of Munson, and Gerard (Nancy) Crawford of Mentor-on-the-Lake; daughters Mary Ann (John) Riedel of Conifer, Colorado and Margaret “Peggy” (William) Ashcraft of Clarksburg, West Virginia; grandmother of 15; great grandmother of 15.
She was preceded in death by her parents William and Mary Russell; sister Betty Collins; brothers William Russell and Ralph Russell.

Mary B. Renko (Rogish), 87, of Euclid for the past 44 years formerly of E. 72nd St, Cleveland died Friday February 2, 2001 at Altercare of Mentor in Concord Twp. She was born July 12, 1913.
Mrs. Renko was a homemaker. She was a member of SNPJ Lodge 442, St. Christine’s Church in Euclid and a member of Ladies Guild at the church.
Survivors include her 2 sons John Renko of Mentor and James (Karen) Renko of Mentor; daughter Kathleen Haught of Concord Twp; grandchildren John R., Robin L., Ralph J. (Nellie) and Jason J. Renko, Kimberly K. (Urban) Cornacchione, Suzanne and Ronald (Tracey) Buckley and Sarah Haught; 3 great-grandchildren Urbie Cornacchione, Blake and Austin Buckley; sisters Betty Tisovic of Willowick, Margaret Rominski of Wilkes Barre, PA and Sophie (Louis) Gorsha of Cape Coral, FL; brother John (Louise) Rogish of Wilkes Barre, PA.

Connie Rosipko (nee Tranthem), age 46, of Perry Twp of 27 years, formerly of Mentor, died Sunday March 18, 2001 at her residence. She was born May 3, 1954 in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Mrs. Rosipko was a cleaning lady for Lake Erie College in Painesville for 3 years prior to that she was an assembler at Moldtech in Painesville she was also a homemaker. Enjoyed doll collecting and loved crocheting.
Survivors include her husband James A.; son Allen Rosipko of Perry; father Jack Tranthem of Lima, Ohio; sisters Patsy (Jim) Middleton of Jonesville, Virginia and Pat (Dennis) Fog of LaPorte, Texas; brother Rocky Tranthem of Kannapolis, North Carolina; loving pets Buddy & Brittany.
She is preceded in death by her mother Dorothy Farr; step-father William C. Farr, Sr.; brothers, William C. Farr, Jr, and Walter Tranthem.
