Domenica Bertone, age 83, a Painesville resident for the past 57 years, died Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2011, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born Nov. 10, 1927, in S. Maria Del Molise-P. Insernia, Italy.
Mrs. Bertone was a homemaker and member of St. Mary Church, Painesville. She loved the Catholic faith and all of God's beauty.
Domenica spent the last 25 years enjoying the home in which she and her husband, Angelo, designed. She also loved to cook, garden, knit and dance. Her most precious times where spent sharing in the lives of her five grandchildren, who kept her young and active. "Mamina" will be truly missed.
Domenica's survivors include her daughters, Dotty Bertone and Louisa (Tom Orosz) Bertone, both of Painesville Township; grandchildren, Kristin Kerestman, Michelle (Anthony) Spena, Sarah, John and Michael Wayner; sister, Erminia (John) Bertone of Montreal, Canada.
She was preceded in death is her husband, Angelo A. Bertone; two brothers; and three sisters.
Funeral Mass will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 16, 2011, at St. Mary Church 242 N. State St., Painesville.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor. Entombment will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
Geraldine Sargent, age 72, of Mentor for the past 12 years, formerly South Euclid. Mrs. Sargent died, Thursday January 25 at her residence. She was born June 25, 1928 in Cleveland.
A graduate of MacMurray College in Jacksonville,Ill with a Bachelors Degree in Sociology, she also enjoyed golfing.
Survivors include her daughter, Barbara E Sargent of Mentor. Son, Peter M( Darlene) Sargent of Mentor.
5 grandchildren, Peter, Kelly and Douglas Sargent, Billy Stock and Rob (Samantha) Lloyd.
1 great-grandson Rob Lloyd.
Nephew David Brezic of San Diego.
She is preceded in death by husband Algernon "Pete" Sargent.

Margaret E. “Peggy” McPeek (Cooper) age 68 of Mentor for the past 41 years, died Thursday, March 8, 2001 at her residence. She was born June 26, 1932 in Pineville, West Virginia.
She was an inspector at Parker-Hannifin in Wickliffe for the past 19 years.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Robert C. McPeek; daughter Judi (Steve) Shandle of Mentor, Ohio; granddaughters Tracy Zarack and Katie (Ralph) Nazario, both of Mentor, Ohio; great-grandchildren Timmy, Michael and Tommy; sisters Patricia (Charles) Hayer of Mentor, Ohio and Barbara (Les) Grove of Mentor, Ohio.
Brothers Thomas and Warren Cooper are deceased.
Funeral service 1pm Tuesday, March 13, 2001 at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service 8466 Mentor Avenue, Mentor, Ohio where the family will receive friends 11am - 1pm the day of the service.

Memorial Mass for Antoinette "Babe" (Gambatese) Federico, age 92, of Mentor, a homemaker, will be 10 a.m. Saturday June 2, 2007 at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 8560 Mentor Ave., Mentor. Mrs. Federico died Tuesday, May 29, 2007, at Hospice House in Cleveland. She was born July 2, 1914, in Cleveland, she lived in Euclid before moving to Mentor in 1975.
She enjoyed golfing at Madison Country Club where she was a longtime member. She was a former member of St. Felicitas Church in Euclid and a current member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church. She was an avid gardener and loved to cook. Spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren was very special to Mrs. Federico.
Survivors are her children, Frank (Valerie) Federico of Kirtland Hills, Patricia (Jerome) Sheehan of Seattle and Kathleen (Roger) Munson of Mentor; grandchildren, Audrey (Tom) Joyce, Amy (William) Young, Lisa Federico, Tina (Paul Roush) Federico, Kathleen (Ed) Burgess, Erin Sheehan, Michael Sheehan, Adam (Maureen) Munson and Anthony and Max Munson; and great-grandchildren, Monica, Matthew, Joseph, Francis, Dominic, Christina, Conor and Grady. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dominic T. Federico; sisters, Concetta, Lucy, Rose, Mary, Christine and Josephine; and brother, Joseph.

Graveside service for L. Shirley Harvey, age 80, a lifelong Willoughby resident, will be held 2 p.m. Saturday May 26, 2007 at Willoughby Cemetery (Sharpe Ave.), Lot 296.
Mrs. Harvey died March 2, 2007 at Fairmount Health Center, Willoughby, Ohio. She was born January 31, 1927 Willoughby, Ohio. She was a retired assembler from Maytag in Eastlake, where she worked from 1981-1991.
Survivors include her daughters Christine (Robert) Broussard of Juneau, AK. and Sharon (Timothy) Bradley of Jacksonville, FL.; son Thomas (Kathryn) Harvey of Virginia Beach, VA.; 8 Grandchildren; 14 Great-Grandchildren; sister Ruth Pierce of Willoughby; brother Robert Schwarz of Willoughby. She was preceded in death Husband Wilson Harvey; parents Harry and Leona Schwarz; brother Harry Schwarz.

Funeral service for Dolores N. "Dolly" LaRue (Strah), 82, of Mentor, formerly of Willoughby, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday May 22, 2007 at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor. Mrs. LaRue died Friday, May 18, 2007, at Summerville Assisted Living in Mentor. She was born Dec. 20, 1924, in Freedom, Pa.
Mrs. LaRue worked for Tomko for over 10 years before her retirement in 1997. She was also a longtime manager at Winkelmans. She enjoyed reading, gardening and traveling the U.S.A. and was a Pitcairn High School graduate.
Survivors are her children, Lynne Strah of Mentor and Eugene LaRue of Vermillion; grandchildren, Christopher and Dustin Strah of Mentor; and sisters, Betty Jane Mignogna and Elanore Salamone, both of Pitcairn, Pa.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Salamone and parents, Frank and Rose Salamone.
Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.

Funeral service for Goldie "Goldie Girl" King, 64, of Eastlake, will be 11 a.m. Monday June 11, 2007 at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor. Mrs. King died Friday, June 8, 2007, at home. She was born June 3, 1943, in Shinnston, W.Va., she lived in Mesa, Ariz., prior to moving to Eastlake nine years ago.
She was a retired nursing assistant, working in nursing homes for a number of years. Mrs. King was a member of Victory Lane Assembly of God Church in Mentor-on-the-Lake. She loved gospel music, 50's music, dancing, camping, fishing and anything to do with the outdoors, bingo and video games (Zelda and Animal Crossing).
Survivors are her husband of 44 years, Roy C. King; daughters, Lori (James) Meiser of Mentor, Joanna (Tony) Lanzoni of Superior, Ariz., Darla (Wes) Burton of Painesville and Pamela (Mike) May of Broadview Heights; grandchildren, LeAnna (Jeremy) Ford, Richard Greenwalt, Trisha Greenwalt, Alex Meiser, Mitchell King, Monica (Gene) Thorne, Talia Lanzoni, Amanda Burton and Daniela Burton; and brother, Jerry (Margaret) Richardson of Eastlake. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Melissa Johnson; and sister, Rachel Klink.
