Funeral Mass for Emery R. Mako, 85, of Willoughby, will be noon Friday June 22, 2007 at St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Road, Mentor. Mr. Mako died June 17, 2007, at Altercare of Mentor. He was born Dec. 16, 1921, in Cleveland, he had lived in Willoughby for the past 51 years.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was a founding member of St. John Vianney Church. He was a family man with his whole heart and soul. He loved gardening and was a Cub Master for the Boy Scouts of America.
Mr. Mako had a private practice as an attorney for several years in the Lake County area. He also worked in the personnel/labor relations department in several companies in the Cuyahoga County area.
Survivors are his wife of 61 years, Eileen (Palmer) Mako; daughters, Gail (George) Golga of South Euclid, Karen (Jeffrey) Borsz of Parma, Janet (David) McFadden of Jefferson, and Christine (Michael) Monty of Madison; sons, Kenneth Mako of Willoughby, David Mako of Deerfield, Mass., Robert (Julie) Mako of Mentor and Thomas Mako of Mentor; daughter-in-law, Karlene Mako of Keego Harbor, Mich.; and 17 grandchildren. His son, Ronald Mako M.D.; and 10 siblings, are deceased.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Brunner Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor. Inurnment will be Willoughby Memorial Gardens.
Memorial Mass for William F. Ray, age 79, of Mentor, will be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 2, 2007, at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 7575 Bellflower Road, Mentor. Mr. Ray died Saturday, May 26, 2007, at LakeWest Hospital in Willoughby. He was born Feb. 15, 1928, in Cleveland, he had been a Mentor resident for the past 50 years.
He was a 1946 graduate of East High in Cleveland. He was a former member of the Painesville Elks and an active member of St. John Vianney Parish. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Ray worked as an electrician for Clark Controller Company for 37 years, retiring in 1988.
Survivors are his wife of 54 years, Nancy; children, William (Adrienne) Ray of Madison, Deborah (Alan) Dynes of Painesville Township, Ronald (Lisa) Ray of Mentor, Cynthia (Richard) Alden of Painesville Township and Robert (Donna) Ray of Rome, Ohio; 10 grandchildren, James, Joshua, Lacy, Jason, Sheila Ann, Shelby, Christopher and Justin Ray, and Benjamin and Nathaniel Alden; sisters, Dorothy (James) Fuerst, Margaret McPherson, Shirley (Larry) Wagner, and Carol (Tim) Ward; brothers, Robert and Dick (Rene) Ray; and sister-in-law, Mable Ray. He was preceded in death by an infant son, Ronald; and brother, Jack Ray.
Celebration of life for Tim “Mowgli” Princic, age 30, “A Free Spirit” from Akron will be held 12:30 p.m. Sunday May 27, 2007 at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor. The family also invites you to a memorial service 1 p.m. Saturday June 2, 2006 at Nelson Ledges Quarry Park, Nelson Twp., Ohio.
Tim died Sunday May 20, 2007 at Lake East Hospital. He was born January 27, 1977 in Mayfield, he had lived in Painesville Twp. before moving to Akron.
Tim worked as a Volkswagen Mechanic for Streetsboro Foreign Auto in Streetsboro, prior to that he had worked as a machinist at Path Technologies in Mentor. He was an avid Grateful Dead fan, traveled to 49 states, loved riding his motorcycle and he had friends all across the country. He had attended Riverside High School in Painesville Twp. Tim was also an Organ and Tissue donor. The family requests informal dress for the memorial service, tie-dye is welcome.
Survivors include his mother Terry (Brian O’Connor) Princic of Mentor on the Lake; father David (Barbara) Princic of Mentor on the Lake; sister Jennifer (Matthew) Zayd of Ft. Lee, VA; brothers David J. Princic of Painesville and Jamie Bradshaw of Willoughby; niece McKenzie Princic; nephews Austin, Kyler and Colin Princic; paternal grandmother Dorothy Princic of Willowick; survived by many other loving family members. He was preceded in death by his brother Jacob; maternal grandmother Frances Bradshaw; paternal grandfather Joseph Princic; uncle Jack Heinz.
Family will receive friends 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Funeral Mass for Donna J. (Marchinko) Rossiter, age 60, of Eastlake for the past 31 years, formerly of Willowick, will be noon Saturday, Dec. 15, 2007, at St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Road, Mentor. Mrs. Rossiter died Friday, Dec. 7, 2007, at home. She was born Sept. 28, 1947, in Cleveland.
She was a member of ASID and a member of St. John Vianney Church. Mrs. Rossiter was an interior designer in the greater Cleveland area for the past 30 years. She was also a jewelry designer and taught Interior and Lighting Design at Cuyahoga Community College and Ursuline College.
Survivors are her husband of 23 years, Charles M. "Chuck" Rossiter; sons, Scott (Wendy) Marn of Mentor and Sean (Danielle) Marn of Concord; daughter, Kimberly (Jerry) Kramer of Mentor; grandchildren, Dylan, Jagger, Garrett, Ryenn, Porter, Raquel and Grady Marn and Seth Kramer; brothers, Paul "Butch" (Marilyn) Marchinko of Ponchatoula, La. and John "Jack" (Marlene) Marchinko of Mentor; mother-in-law, Anna Jean Rossiter Barnes of Chardon; nieces, Heather Lipnis, Marisha (Vincent) Carbo and Krista (fiance, Kyle Henderson) Marchinko; and nephew, Devon Marchinko. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Irene Marchinko.

Funeral Mass for Robert H. "Bob" Baker, 60, of Mentor, will be noon Saturday at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Road, Concord Township. Please meet at the church.
Mr. Baker died Wednesday, April 23, 2008, at his residence. He was born Aug. 11, 1947, in Cleveland and lived in Eastlake before moving to Mentor in 1978.
He was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church. He loved golfing, fishing, building and carpentry. Mr. Baker was an inspector for General Motors Fisher Body Plant for many years prior to his retirement in 1989.
Survivors are his wife of 40 years, Patricia; four children, Robert (Andrea) Baker of Mentor, James (Lisa) Baker of Concord Township, Stacey Barrett of Mentor and Scott Baker of Texas; 10 grandchildren, Austin, Justin, Brittany, Christina, Nicole, Amanda, Tyler and Britlynn Baker and Alyssa and Casey Barrett; brothers, Michael (June) Baker of Georgia and Henry (Marianne) Baker of Cleveland; sisters, Linda Baker of Arizona and Pamela Tallman of Georgia; and nieces and nephews, Michael, Matthew, Michelle, Jack, Gina, Gia, Dena and Megan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Helen Baker.

Funeral service for John F. Benchina, age 78, of Mentor will be 11 a.m. Tuesday October 24, 2006 at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor. Mr. Benchina passed away Oct. 21, 2006, at Wickliffe Country Place after a long illness. He was born May 29, 1928, in Cleveland, he lived in Mentor for 30 years.
He was a licensed NASCAR driver during the 1950's known as "Rusty Ryan", and was an avid Cleveland Browns fan. He served with the rangers in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
Mr. Benchina was retired from Lincoln Electric as an inspector for 33 years, and formerly worked as a mechanic for the New York Central Railroad.
Survivors are his wife, Mary Ellen (Yates) of 47 years; daughter, Diane (Ross) Dunn of Bath; sons, John A. (Tina) of Waxhaw, N.C., Bruce (Jeannette) of Willowick and Brad (Debbie) of Madison; grandchildren, Amy, John M., Nirvana, Brian, Ellen, Michael and Melissa; sister, Veronica "Ronnie" Mauer of Wickliffe; and nephew, Dan J. (Linda) Mauer of Wickliffe. He was preceded in death by his parents, John J. and Vera Benchina; brother-in-law, Dan Mauer; and nephew, John Mauer.

Memorial service for Patricia A. (Marano) Zgrebnak, age 62, of Mentor will be held 4:30 p.m. Sunday June 3, 2007 at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor. Mrs. Zgrebnak died Tuesday May 29, 2007 at the Cleveland Clinic. She was born January 13, 1945 in Cleveland, she had lived in Eastlake before moving to Mentor 34 years ago.
Mrs. Zgrebnak was a 1963 graduate of Eastlake North High School.
Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Roger; daughter Vicki (Eric) Clason; son Michael (Carrie) Zgrebnak; grandchildren Nicholas, Natalie, Connor, Cooper and Camryn; brother Louis (Holly) Marano of AZ. She was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Clementine Marano.
Family will receive friends 2:30 – 4:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Inurnment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hudson, Ohio.

Funeral mass for Stephen P. Yourich, age 83, of Concord Township will be 12 NOON Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Rd., Concord Township. Mr. Yourich died Saturday, May 26, 2007 at Brecksville VA Hospital. He was born June 26, 1923 in Windber, Pa, he had been a Concord Township resident for the past 60 years.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran during WWII, serving in the Battle of the Bulge. He was a member of the Painesville Knights of Columbus and the Pennsylvania VFW. He enjoyed dancing and spending time with his family playing cards and horseshoes. Mr. Yourich worked for Best Form as a cloth cutter manufacturing women’s clothing until his retirement in 1985. He had also worked at King Musical Instrument in Eastlake.
Survivors include his wife and best friend of 67 years, Dorothy; children Stephen Yourich of Fl., Joyce Wutchiett of Az.; grandchildren Stephanie Rein and Tommy Wutchiett and brothers Thomas and Alex Yourich. He was preceded in death by two sons David and Ronald; daughter Marie; brothers Joseph, Andy, John, George and sisters Elizabeth, Marie and Ann.
Family will receive friends from 11am-12pm Wednesday at the Church. Interment All Souls Cemetery, Chardon Township.
