Funeral mass for Gary D. Whetzel Jr., age 44, a lifelong Mentor resident, will be held 9:30 a.m. Saturday September 25, 2004 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Rd., Concord Twp.
Mr. Whetzel died Monday September 20, 2004 at Solon Medical Center in Solon. He was born June 24, 1960 Cleveland.
A Bricklayer, member of Bricklayers local #5 in Cleveland for many years. Some of the projects that Gary did the tuck-point restoration work included; Soldiers and Sailors Monument, Downtown, Colonial Arcade and the BP building.
Gary played Bass & Electric Guitar for various bands in the Lake & Cuyahoga counties area. Loved riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle.
Survivors include his Mother Joanne K. Whetzel Malnar (Corrao); Sisters Kelly (John) Sajovic of Leo, Indiana, Leslie Malnar of Mentor and Stacie Malnar of Willoughby; brother Mark (Christy) Malnar of Mentor; step-sister Cheryl (Rich) DeFrancesco of Chardon; step-brothers Gary (Chris) Malnar of Jefferson and Jerry Malnar of Willoughby; many nieces & nephews; uncle; Daniel (Patricia) Carrao of Ocala, Fla.
He was preceded in death by his father Gary D. Whetzel Sr.; step-brother Richard Malnar; 1 nephew.
Family will receive friends Friday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor.
Interment All Souls Cemetery, Chardon.

Funeral Mass for Michael E. Yohman, 43, of Madison, will be 9:30 a.m. Friday September 24, 2004 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Road, in Mentor.
Mr. Yohman died Sept. 19, 2004, at his residence. He was born Dec. 12, 1960, in Cleveland, he lived in Mentor before moving to Madison six years ago.
He attended the University of Cincinnati. Mr. Yohman was a computer engineer and owned Twin Source Company, makers of electronic products in Solon for the past four years.
Survivors are his wife, Amy (Salinger) Yohman; mother, Dolores Ann (Davis) Yohman of Concord Township; sister, Kathy Yohman of Mentor; stepmother, Frances Yohman of Concord Township; stepdaughter, Olivia Mascia; stepbrother, Chris Mattox of Athens, Ohio; and nieces, Lauren and Kaitlyn Yohman.
His father, Edward J. Yohman; and brother, Mark E. Yohman, are deceased.
Friends may call 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Brunner Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor.
Burial will be in Mentor Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the Food Banks at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 7575 Bellflower Road, Mentor 44060, or St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Road, Mentor 44060.

Jeannette L. Tewksbury, 88, of Mentor, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2011, at her daughter's home surrounded by her family. She was born June 16, 1923, in Lyndhurst.
Jeannette was a lifetime member of Dames of Malta. She was a foster parent. Jeannette enjoyed crocheting, where she had won many blue ribbons at the Lake County Fair. She loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include her children, Donna Jean Swietlik of Mentor, Pat (Jack) Luck of Kirtland, Karen Fisher of Painesville, Township, Christopher (Cathy) Tewksbury of Sebring, Janene (Jay) Case of Concord Township, Lee Tewksbury of Painesville and Tonya Knight of Willoughby; 17 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; granddaughter, Callie Rose Knight; two brothers, Albert and Martin Karda; and mother, Martha Williamson.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, October 3, 2011 at Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor, where the family will receive friends from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday. Interment will take place at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chester Township.
Contributions can be made to Harbor Light Hospice, 734-C Alpha Dr., Highland Heights, OH 44143.

Helen S. (Spriggs) Young, age 93, of Mentor. Mrs. Young died Wednesday September 29, 2004 at Salida Woods Assisted Living in Mentor. She was born July 30, 1911 in Elyria.
Mrs. Young lived the majority of her youth in Washington, Pa. She completed high school, attended Washington Seminary finishing school and than graduated from Beaver College in Philadelphia, Pa.
Survivors include daughter Susan (Douglas) Kish of Mentor; granddaughter Caitlin C. Kish of Mentor.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Clemens F.
Inurnment Washington Cemetery, Washington, Pa.

Charles J. "Mickey" Miklaucic, age 92, of Mentor for the past eight years, formerly of Richmond Heights, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2010, at TriPoint Medical Center in Concord Township. He was born Aug. 31, 1918, in Johnstown, Pa.
Mr. Miklaucic was a retired machinist from Park Drop Forge in Cleveland. Prior to that, he worked at Gabriel Shock Absorbers in Cleveland.
He was a member of the SNPJ Lodge 158, Fairport Pensioners, Keystoners, American Legion, St. John Vianney Church in Mentor, a former member of St. Felicitas Church in Richmond Heights, and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a two-time recipient of the Purple Heart.
Survivors are his wife of 68 years, Caroline (Strell) Miklaucic; children, Richard C. (Barbara) Miklaucic of Painesville and David L. (Eileen) Miklaucic of Mentor; grandchildren, Mark (Stacey) Miklaucic, Steven (Martha Portner) Miklaucic, Christopher (Stephanie) Miklaucic, Neil Miklaucic, Jacqueline Kosmerl, Jeannette Spada; and great-grandchildren, Alex and Jackson.
He was preceded in death by parents; Joseph and Rose Miklaucic; three brothers, John, Frank and Joe Miklaucic; and three sisters, Mary Ukmar, Frannie Janosko and Alice Dezelon.
Funeral Mass will be held 11 a.m. Saturday September 4, 2010 at St. Bede the Venerable Church, 9114 Lakeshore Blvd., Mentor.
Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday in the Chapel at St. Bede the Venerable Church. Burial will be held in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
Arrangements are entrusted to Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Mentor.

Private service will be held for Anna Mae Alberts, age 71, of Mentor. Mrs. Alberts died Wednesday, July 14, 2004 at Western Reserve Health Care in Kirtland. She was born November 26, 1932 in Harts Creek West Virginia, she lived in West Virginia most of her life before moving to Ohio in November of 2003.
She attended Willoughby Hills Friends Church and Willo-Hill Baptist Church and was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church in West Virginia where she volunteered for the Women’s Auxiliary. She loved quilting, sewing, gardening and helping charities in need.
Mrs. Alberts worked as a medication Technician for the State of West Virginia, controlling and dispensing medication for the West Virginia State Aid Program, retiring in 1984.
Survivors include her children: Paul (Anna) Kirk, Jr. of Indiana, Robert Kirk of Arkansas, Harold Kirk of West Virginia, Sharon (Paul) Granger of Mentor and Charles Alberts of Indiana; nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren; sister: Inez (Ray) Riggle of Mentor and brothers: Williard Wiley, Elva (Melva) Wiley, both of Indiana, Watson (Alice) Wiley and Billy Joe (Donna) Wiley, both of West Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Norman Alberts, son: Donald Alberts, sisters Katie, Myrtle, Laura and brothers Edward and William “Jake.”
Inurnment will take place in Morrisons Cemetery in Barbersville, West Virginia.

Funeral mass for Grace M. Asbury, age 82, of Highland Heights will be held 9 a.m. Saturday, August 7, 2004 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 7575 Bellflower Rd., Mentor. PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH.
Mrs. Asbury died Tuesday, August 3, 2004 at Heartland of Mentor. She was born October 11, 1921 in Cleveland, she lived in Maple Heights before moving to Highland Heights 43 years ago.
Mrs. Asbury worked in the payroll department for White Motors for 18 years, leaving work to raise her family.
She enjoyed gardening, bowling – winning a first place trophy in her league and loved to sew and knit clothes for herself and her family.
Survivors include her daughter Beverly (Perry) Erdelac of Mentor; grandson Mark Erdelac of Mentor; sister: Ethel Kragle of Cleveland; brother Harry A. Kragle of Oklahoma.
Her husband Henry died in 1993 and her brothers Ralph and George Kragle are deceased.
Family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Friday at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor.
Interment All Souls Cemetery, Chardon.
