Funeral service Frank J. Langdon, age 72, of Mentor will be held 1 p.m. Monday July 21, 2003 at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor.
Mr. Langdon died Thursday July 17, 2003 at Lake Hospital System in Willoughby.
He was born May 17, 1931 in Cleveland, he had lived in Willowick before moving to Mentor 34 years ago.
A mail courier for the Mentor School system for 20 years retiring in 1997. Prior to that he had worked as an operations manager for Ketchum Distributors in Cleveland retiring from there 1979. Mr. Langdon was a member of the Descendants of the Founders of Ancient Windsor, an avid Indians and Browns fan, active in the Mentor Boosters, who also enjoyed gardening and travel. Mr. and Mrs. Langdon had just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on his 72nd birthday at their daughter’s house.
He was a graduate of Shaw High School and he and his wife were both active in reunions and gatherings with their classmates. Mr. Langdon was a member of St. Andrew Episcopal Church in Kirtland Hills, while the Rev. Bill Worman was ministering at the church Mr. Langdon was very active in the vestry at the church as well as being a Sunday school teacher.
Survivors include his wife Marjorie; son John (Sue) Langdon of Mentor; daughter Lori (Bill Cmarik) Grantham of Mentor; grandchildren Sara (Ryan) Coleman, Carly and Jaci Langdon, Jamie Grantham, Christina and Stefanie Cmarik; sister Gertrude (Howard) Thompson of Columbus; survived by nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Margaret Langdon; sister Lenore McGrath.
Family will receive friends from 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Inurnment Whitehaven Memorial Park, Mayfield Village.
Memorial mass for Judy A. Williams, age 60, of Mentor will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 22, 2003 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 7575 Bellflower Road, Mentor.
There will be a private family graveside service at a later date.
Mrs. Williams died Thursday March 13, 2003 at her residence.
She was born November 22, 1942 in East Cleveland, she was a resident of Mentor the past 33 years.
She was a cashier for 29 years for Mentor Family Foods formerly Shore Eagle, she was a member of St. John Vianney Church, loved working with people, liked shopping, traveling with friends and spending time with her granddaughter.
She is survived by her Daughter Lori (Terry) Lashley of Mentor, Granddaughter Leah Ashley, Brother – John Thomas Latecki of Missouri, Sister – Mary Ann Draper of Cleveland Heights and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her Husband Charles G. Williams, Brother – Daniel Latecki, Parents – Benjamin and Mary Latecki, and Nephews – Daniel and Joseph Latecki.

Harvey E. Peters, 87, of Mentor for the past 40 years, formerly of Cleveland, passed away Sunday Sept. 4, 2011, at Mentor Way Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born April 5, 1924, in Cleveland, he was a U.S. Navy veteran.
Harvey along with his twin brother, Harry owned and operated Twins Tavern in Mentor and Harmony Bar in Willoughby. He along with his wife enjoyed trips to Atlantic City and Las Vegas.
Survivors are his daughter, Debbie (Joe) of Mentor; son, Don of Perry; and grandson D.J. of Perry. He is also survived by extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Harriet ""Hattie"" Peters.
Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2011, at Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2011, at the funeral home.
Interment at Mentor Cemetery, Mentor. The family will host a reception following the burial at the Brunner Reception Center located on property at the funeral home.

Dolores M. McKay, 80, of Mentor for the past 42 years and formerly of East Cleveland, passed away Thursday, Sept. 1, 2011 at Hospice House in Cleveland. She was born March 23, 1931 in Cleveland.
Survivors include her friends, Dennis (Diane) Sterle and Norma Hearn both of Mentor. Dolores was preceded in death by husband, William McKay; sister, Gertrude Conrad; and her parents Frank and Ann Radl.
Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2011 at the Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor, where family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. until the time of services.
Interment will take place at All Souls Cemetery, Chardon Township.

Lois S. Nelson, age 85, of Mentor for the past eight years, formerly a longtime resident of Willoughby, died Aug. 4, 2010, at Altercare of Mentor in Concord Township. She was born July 15, 1925, in Cleveland.
Mrs. Nelson enjoyed doll collecting, was an avid reader, loved discussing politics and eating gourmet food. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughter, Janice (Timothy) Redenshek of Mentor; sons, Gary W. (Mary) Nelson of Mentor and David M. Nelson of Quincy, Mich.; grandchildren, Lauren Nelson, Jason and Richard (Jenn) Falstreau, and Zachary, Kyle and Braydon Nelson; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Philip; and sons, Richard and Greg Nelson.
A memorial service will be held at noon Saturday August 7, 2010 at Advent Lutheran Church, 7985 Munson Road, Mentor 44060.
Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday at the church.

Funeral service for Beverly M. (Overall) Savoca, age 51, of Mentor will be held 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave, Mentor.
Mrs. Savoca died Tuesday March 18, 2003 at Altercare of Mentor in Concord Twp.
She was born August 26, 1951 in Cleveland, she had lived in Mentor since 1979.
Mrs. Savoca had worked for Eye Lighting in Mentor. She was a member of Amvets post # 109 Ladies Auxillary in Mentor on the Lake.
Survivors include her daughter Crystal (Dave) Manus of Mentor; step son Richard Savoca of Eastlake and step daughter Lisa (Ken) Graham of Mentor; Grandchildren Cheyenne, Autumn, Jimmy, Halle and Madeline; parents Wesley and Kathryn Overall; Sisters Sue (Rich) Ernst and June (Jim) Carrick both of Mentor on the Lake; brother Wesley (Pokim) Overall; nephews Shannon Overall and Wesley (Treva) Overall; 3 great nieces and 1 great nephew.
She was preceded in death by her 1st husband Mark Robinson; 2nd husband Joseph Savoca.
Family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

A Memorial Mass for Nancy A. Miklavcic, age 77, a lifelong Euclid resident will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Friday September 3, 2010 at St. Bede the Venerable Church, 9114 Lakeshore Blvd., Mentor 44060. Mrs. Miklavcic died Friday, Aug. 27, 2010, at Euclid General Hospital. She was born Sept. 22, 1932, in Cleveland.
Mrs. Miklavcic was a retired director of Mary Mavec Opportunity School in Euclid.
Survivors are her children, Linda Bitker, Anthony Miklavcic III, Stephen Miklavcic, Debra Miklavcic, Charles "Chuckie" Miklavcic, John Miklavcic and Patricia Ivancic; grandchildren, Edward Mikolic, Kevin Mikolic, Tina Wilson, Shana Kaylor, Derek Ivancic, Stephany Ivancic, Tina Summerfield, Michelle Miklavcic, John Miklavcic Jr., Sonny Fernandez, Anthony Miklavcic and Nathan Miklavcic; seven great-grandchildren; and sister, Martha Diemer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Miklavcic; son, William Miklavcic; parents, Henry and Eleanor Luck; brother, Donald McCann; and sister, Mary Lou McInerney.
Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor. Inurnment will be at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon.
