Memorial service for Marion R. (Maltbie) Rogers, age 92, of Painesville will be held 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at First Church Congregational 22 Liberty St., Painesville.
Mrs. Rogers died Friday, March 14, 2003 at Mentor Way Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
She was born August 27, 1910 in Chardon, she had lived in Dayton, Fairport and Chardon before moving to Painesville.
Mrs. Rogers was a seamstress at Carlisle’s and Gail G. Grants in Painesville and was a self employed seamstress. She enjoyed music especially playing the piano and pipe organ.
A member of Rebekah, member of Daughters of America; taught Sunday school at First Church Congregational in Painesville where she was an active member.
Survivors include her daughters Carolyn R. Kissel of Willoughby and Joyce A. (Charles) Jones of Nebraska; son George Rogers of Painesville; grandchildren Cameron R. Kissel, Victoria (James) Schmidt, Jeffrey Rogers, Linda Rogers, William Jones, Andy Jones, and Angel Jones; great-grandmother to several; sister Gladys Rivers of Gates Mills; brother-in-law Howard (Marge) Rogers; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband George F. Rogers; granddaughter Fonda Jones; parents Noel and Myrta Maltbie
Inurnment Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Geneva.

Joyce A. Norsic, 78, of Madison and formerly of Perry, passed away Friday Sept. 30, 2011 at Madison Health Care. She was born Jan. 16, 1933 in Cleveland.
Joyce was an avid Indians fan and loved all sports. Mrs. Norsic belonged to the Lakeshore Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include her sons, Harold (Nancy) Norsic of Chardon Township, and Geoffrey "Seth" Norsic of Springfield, Mo.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; and her parents, Paul and Elizabeth Simboldt.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2011 at Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Avenue, Mentor.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2011 at the funeral home.
Contributions may be made to Lakeshore Assembly of God Church, 8880 Lakeshore Blvd, Mentor, OH 44060.

Graveside service for Martin T. “Coke” Rokosky, age 74, of Mentor will be held 10:30 A.M. Friday at Mentor Cemetery, 6881 Hopkins Road, Mentor.
Mr. Rokosky died Tuesday, March 18, 2003 at Lake West Hospital in Willoughby.
He was born June 16, 1929 in Scranton, Pa., and had lived in Mentor the past 43 years, formerly of Cleveland, and Reynoldsville, Pa.
Mr. Rokosky was retired from Technical Engineered Products where he was a machine operator and had worked for 3 M company for 27 years. He enjoyed working on cars and fishing. He was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church.
He is survived by his Daughter Janet (Brian) Shaffer of Painesville, Sons – James Rokosky of Canton, Michael (Darlene) Rokosky of Thompson, Lawrence (Marcia) Rokosky, of Concord, and Richard (Candace) Rokosky of Painesville Twp. 13 Grandchildren, Sisters – Vickie (John) Kucharski of DuBois, Pa., Margie Lehner of Euclid, Gerry Varhol of Euclid, Rose Schimizzi of Willowick.
He was preceded in death by his Wife – Betty Rokosky, and Parents – Martin and Lillian Rokosky.
The family will receive friends 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor.

Funeral service for Richard N. McNabb, age 67, of Fairport Harbor will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Calvary Fellowship Baptist Church, 727 Mentor Ave., Painesville, Ohio.
Mr. McNabb died Monday March 17, 2003 at Lutheran Hospital in Cleveland.
He was born November 21, 1935 in Moundsville, Wva., he had lived in Mentor before moving to Fairport Harbor 2 years ago.
A machinist for Mayfran International in Highland Heights for 10 years, prior to that he worked at the former American Stamping in Euclid for 26 years. Mr. McNabb was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting and he was also an instructor for the Safe Hunting program through the NRA.
He was a member Calvary Fellowship Baptist Church in Painesville for 35 years, where he had served as a Deacon for many years. A U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Kay (Wade); sons David (Sheree) McNabb of Columbus, Ga., Bruce R. (Anita) McNabb of Elyria and Terry (Diane) McNabb of Mentor, Oh.; daughter Beth (Reverend Frank) Banfill of Wylie, Tx.; grandchildren Brendan, Stephen, Daniel and Joseph McNabb; Amber and Jacob Banfill; survived by several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Alice Leona Frank and Joseph McNabb; sisters Mary Lou Naughton and Pauline Chapman; brother Fred McNabb.

Family will receive friends from 5-9 pm. Thursday at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor.
Interment Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chesterland.

A celebration of life for William P. Miller, age 74, of Willowick will be held 1:00- 4:00 p.m. Saturday at the American Legion Hall, 570 E. 328 St., Willowick. A luncheon will be served.
Mr. Miller died March 24, 2003 at Manor Care of Willoughby.
He was born in Cleveland, he lived there before moving to Willowick 48 years ago.
Mr. Miller worked as a manufacturing engineer for Parker-Hannifin for 19 years before retiring January 31, 1991. Before that he worked for the former Z&W Machine Products and the Murray Corporation.
He belonged to the American Legion Post #678 in Willowick. He was a U.S. Marine Veteran during the Korean Conflict.
He enjoyed and was good at sports, pitching two no-hitters in softball in 1956 and 1958 for Z&W.
Survivors are his wife of 52 years, Patricia, daughter Karen (Richard) Newkirk of Michigan, son William R. (Jo Ann) Miller of Rocky River, sister Jean (Melvin) March of Mentor and sister-in-law Dolores (Alex) Kleme of Brook Park and several nieces and nephews.
His brother, Earl Miller preceded him in death.
The family requests contributions be made to Manor Care Nursing Home, 37603 Euclid Ave. Willoughby, 44094.

Sue (Chadwick) Warnack, age 80, of Mentor since 1968, died Monday, Nov. 15, 2010, at Lake West Medical Center in Willoughby. She was born Jan. 20, 1930, in Catoosa County, Georgia.
Mrs. Warnack had worked as a head bakery clerk for Fazio's for 20 years, most recently at the Mentor-on-the-Lake store.
She enjoyed crocheting, gardening and spending time with her family. Mrs. Warnack was a member of the Mentor Church of Christ, where she was active in the Women's Bible Study and was a Thursday school teacher. She also volunteered for the Lake County Clothe-A-Child program for five years.
Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Max; daughter, Sherry (Fred) Colombo of Mentor; grandchildren, Dina (Andrew) Gay and Jason (Kristen) Colombo; great-grandchildren, Nicklaus, Dominick and Vincent Gay; sisters, Anna Lee (Ralph) Lowe and Stella Mae Pettit. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cicero and Dora Chadwick; brother, Harry Chadwick; sisters, Johnnie Lou Hill, Frances Chadwick and Clara Bell Shook.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday November 18, 2010 at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor 44060.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mentor Cemetery.

Patricia A. (Lavelle) Schenk, age 75, of Mentor, formerly of Parma Heights, died Sunday, Aug. 29, 2010, at home surrounded by her family. She was born Nov. 24, 1934, in Cleveland.
She worked as an assistant administrator for Pediatric Services Inc. in Parma.
Survivors are her children, Bryan (Karen) Schenk of Belleview, Fla., Kelly (Dan) Benson of Sylvania, Karen (Oskar) Schwarz of Cleveland, Evan (Amy Yockey) Schenk of Pickerington and Joelle (Mark) Spoerke of Mentor; grandchildren, Bevin, David, Brenna, Breanne, Kendra (Jon) Weschel, Meghan, Colin, Ryan, Hannah and Emily; sister, Rosemary (Ron) Clarke of North Olmsted; and stepbrother, Stephen (Kathy) Rembrandt of Cary, N.C.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louie A. Schenk Jr.; son, Jeff Schenk; and stepbrother, Neil Rembrandt.
The family will host a Celebration of Life for Patricia from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 12, 2010, in the Community Room at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor. Inurnment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Brookpark.
