Funeral service for Frances N. Slack, age 82, of Mentor will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service 8466 Mentor Avenue. Mentor.
Mrs. Slack died Tuesday November 26, 2002 Altercare of Mentor in Mentor.
She was born May 17, 1920 in Youngstown, Oh., she lived in Sunbury, Oh before moving to Mentor 40 years ago.
Mrs. Slack was a retired Deputy Clerk for the Mentor Municipal Court from 1977 until her retirement in 1983. Prior to that she assisted her husband in operating William H. Slack Funeral Home in Sunbury, Oh. From 1949 until 1961.
A member of Mentor United Methodist Church, Mentor, Former member of Lake County Historical Society from 1965-1977, Western Reserve Society, Geauga County, Wayne County, Morrow County Society, Order of the Eastern Star in Sunbury, former member of Quota Club and Mentor Womens Club, Who’s Who of American Women 1975-1976, Attended Bliss College 1937-1939, Loved Geneology.
Survivors include her daughters Susan K. (Charles) Horn of Mentor and Nancy Slack of Mentor; sons William Trenton (Roxanna) Slack of Fairfield, Oh., Robert J. (Roseann) Slack of Toledo; 7 Grandchildren; 5 Great-Grandchildren; sister Beatrice Stratton of Columbiana, Oh.; brother John A. (Phyllis) Nees of Louisville, Oh.
She was preceded in death by her husband William H. Slack, whom she married in April 3, 1939. William was a funeral director with the Brunner Funeral Home in Mentor from 1963 until his death in 1980.
Family will receive friends Friday 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial mass for Anne Hanahan-Sweeney, age 82, of Painesville will be held 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at St Cyprian Catholic Church, 4223 Middle Ridge Road, Perry, Ohio.
Mrs. Hanahan-Sweeney died Saturday Dec. 7, 2002, at Hospice House in Cleveland, Ohio.
She was born Feb. 9, 1921 in Libertyville, Illinois, she lived in Naples, Fla. before moving to Painesville.
Mrs. Hanahan-Sweeney was a homemaker and a Member of Madison Country Club, .Madison, Ohio and Wilderness Country Club of Naples, Florida. She graduated from Shaw High School in 1939 and attended Flora Stone Mather College now a part of Case Western Reserve University. She enjoyed playing golf and painting watercolors.
She is survived by her Daughter – Julie Hanahan of Chagrin Falls, Sons - Dr. Paul Toby (Christine) Hanahan of Madison, Geoffrey (Kathleen) Hanahan of Concord. Grandchildren – Melissa, Kelly, Erin, Thomas, John, Christopher.
She was preceded in death by husbands – Dr. Paul W. Hanahan and Paul Sweeney, Sister – Josephine McCorkle.
Family will receive friends at 1:00 P.M. There will be a reception following the mass from 2:30 – 5:00 P.M. at Madison Country Club, 6131 Chapel Road, Madison.

Angie Dobos, 85, of Painesville Township and formerly of Maple Heights, passed away Thursday, Sept. 15, 2011, at Hospice House in Cleveland. She was born Dec. 5, 1925, in Cleveland, Angie enjoyed reading and cooking.
Survivors include her children, Diane (Kenneth) Parks of Concord Township and Lenore (Kenneth) Polak of Mentor; grandchildren, Timothy (Melanie) Polak and Jill Polak both of Mentor; and brothers, Frank (Mary) Pellegrini of Chester Township and John (Shirley) Pellegrini of Australia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Desy Victor Dobos; brother, Anthony Pellegrini; and her parents, John and Eleanor Pellegrini.
A private family service was held.

Mrs. Price died Tuesday, December 03, 2002 at Altercare of Mentor in Concord Twp.
She was born September 21, 1920 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she lived in Sebring, Fla, Folsom, Pa and Philadelphia, Pa. before moving to Concord Twp.
Mrs. Price was a bookkeeper and a former member of Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Philadelphia; member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Concord Twp. enjoyed crocheting and crafts.
Survivors include her daughters Marie (Mike) Loiacono of Concord Twp., Martha Stephens of Media, Pennsylvania, Dolores (Wes) Haubner of Media, Pennsylvania; son Joseph (Marie) Ritter of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; grandchildren Dawn (Brando) Tupaz, Paul (Rebecca) Loiacono, Julie Loiacono, John Loiacono, Laura (Marc) Richman, Linda (Rich) Clark, Chris (Frank) Chattin, Michael (Heather) Shain, Angela (Frank) Spadaro, Joseph (Jen) Ritter Jr., Renee Ritter; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters Adel Ash, Marge (Alex) Dabiza, Jean (Bill) Reilley, Veronica (Bob) Richards, Joseph (Julie) Aubrey, Charles (Betty) Aubrey, James Aubrey, Edward (Margaret) Aubrey, George (Barbara) Aubrey.
She was preceded in death by her parents Francis P. and Emma Aubrey; sister Madeleine Aubrey; brother Francis Aubrey Jr.

Mrs. Rodio died Friday November 29, 2002 at Mount St. Joseph Nursing Home in Euclid.
She was born December 18, 1912 in Chicago, Illinois, she lived in Cleveland before moving to Highland Heights.
Mrs. Rodio was a homemaker. She was past PTA president of Murray Hill School in Cleveland and past President of Ladies Guild at Holy Rosary Church in Cleveland.
She is survived by; Sons – Kenneth (Jan) Rodio of Mentor, and David (Rosemary) Rodio of Concord Twp., Grandchildren – Michael (Katy) Rodio, Paul (Kim) Rodio, Mark (Beth) Rodio, John (Jen) Rodio, and Dave Rodio, Great-grandchildren Nicholas Rodio and Aaron Rodio, Brothers – Ernie (Betty) Lucarelli of Ft. Myers, Florida, and Emil (Mary) Lucarelli of Highland Heights.
She was preceded in death by her husband Domenic Rodio; parents Angelo and Nicolina Lucarelli; brother Meade Lucarelli.

Mrs. Pfiefer died Friday, December 6, 2002 at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Hts.
She was born May 14, 1944 in Detroit, Michigan, she lived in South Lyons, Michigan before moving to Mentor.
Among a field of flowers she lent much beauty , and we who knew her loved the view. Quietly she led by sharing, a friend remembered tried and true. She was a mother, wife, teacher and friend to many.
Mrs. Pfeifer was a program director at Lakeland Community College in Kirtland and a medical technologist at Euclid Hospital in Euclid.
Survivors include her husband Dave of 18 years; sons Daniel (Gina) Lark of Mentor, Steven (Stephanie) Lark of Columbus, Jeffrey Lark of Mentor, Max (Karol) Pfeifer of Mentor, Karl (Robin) Pfeifer of South Euclid; daughter Leah Srnka of Medina; grandchildren Sean, Eve, Josiebelle, Mae, David, Graham; sisters Darlenee (Robert) Carter of Michigan and Patricia (Gene) Mitchell of Michigan; brothers David (Lynn) Sandula of Michigan and Richard (Sandra) Sandula of Michigan; survived by nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Gerald Lark; parents Donald and Elsie Nordman.
