Kenneth E. Beech
CHARDON - Kenneth Edward Beech, 57, died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2001, at his home.
He was born May 15, 1944, to Edward and Arlene (Wise) Beech, in Chardon. He was a lifelong area resident. He married Betty Johnson Feb. 26, 1964 at Chardon United Methodist Church.
Mr. Beech was a welder at Light and Medium Fabricating in Willoughby for 20 years, until January 2001.
He was a member of Maple View Mennonite Church in Burton. He enjoyed working outdoors, gardening and lawn care.
Survivors include his wife; son Robert Beech of Mentor; grandchildren Gregory and Hallie Beech; brothers David of Chardon and Walter of East Claridon; and his mother.
He was preceded in death by his father, in April 2001.
Memorial service with Mr. Beech's cremated remains will be at a later date.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the Beech Family, P.O. Box 177, Chardon 44024.

ARLENE L. LAWSON
CHARDON - Arlene L. Lawson, 80, of Rome Township, died Thursday, April 17, 2003, at the Heather Hill Rehab Hospital.
At Mrs. Lawson's request, no services will be held.
Ducro Funeral Services and Crematory, 4524 Elm Ave., Ashtabula, is in charge of arrangements.
Denise Morgan
CHARDON TOWNSHIP - Denise Morgan, 43, of Chardon Township, died Tuesday, May 15, 2001, at her home.
She was born Jan. 25, 1958, the daughter of Donald R. and Carmen (Dominguez) Smiley. She moved to the area three years ago from Chester Township.
She was a 1976 graduate of Lake Catholic High School and a 1995 graduate of Lakeland Community College's nursing program.
She worked as a registered nurse for Euclid Hospital in Cleveland, and Menorah Park Center in Beechwood.
She married John E. Morgan on Aug. 29, 1981, in Painesville.
She was a member of the Church of St. Mary in Chardon.
Survivors include her parents; her husband; a daughter, Melissa Morgan, at home; a son, Kevin Morgan, at home; two sisters, Dawn Smiley Hearn of Concord, and Diane Bukovec of Chardon; and a brother, Donald R. Smiley Jr. of Concord.
A memorial Mass will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the Church of St. Mary, 401 North St., Chardon. Greg Schaut, church pastor, will officiate.
Calling hours are Friday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., Chardon.

Florence M. Baldauf
CHARDON - Florence M. Baldauf, 85, died Saturday, Jan. 11, 2003, at Heather Hill Hospital Health and Care Center, Chardon.
She was born Aug. 6, 1917, in Russell, to Herbert and Elinore (Rowley) Church.
For the last two years, she was a resident at The Liberty, Chardon. Formerly, she was a lifelong Perry resident.
She married Maurice E. Baldauf July 11, 1942 in Painesville.
Mrs. Baldauf was a cafeteria worker for the Perry school system.
She was a member of AFSCME Chapter 1184 and was active most of her life with the Church family farm. She enjoyed drawing, painting, crafts and music.
Survivors include daughters Lois Gentilli of Medina and Patricia Schlauch of Perry; sons Dennis Baldauf of Newman, Ga. and Jeff Baldauf of Thompson; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Lucile Clift and brother Clifford Church.
A private family funeral was held, officiated by the Rev. Hank Williams of Mentor Heisley Church of God. Burial was in Perry Cemetery.

Najla S. Saikaly
CHARDON Najla S. (Khoury) Saikaly, 76, died Thursday, April 12, 2001, at her home.
She was born Dec. 24, 1924, in Lebanon, and had been an area resident for the past 18 years.
Mrs. Saikaly was a homemaker and attended the Church of St. Mary, Chardon.
Survivors include two daughters, Maha Khoury and Ramona Saikaly; two sons, Ghassan "Gus" and Samir; and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sami.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., Chardon, with the Rev. Greg Schaut of the Church of St. Mary, Chardon. Burial will be in Chardon Municipal Cemetery.

Theodore A. Ogle
CHARDON - Theodore A. Ogle, 74, died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2002, at Heather Hill Hospital, Munson Township.
He was born March 20, 1927, in Oil City, Pa., the son of Max F. and Hazel M. (Brown) Ogle Swartz. He moved to the Chardon area from Avon Lake more than 43 years ago.
He was an electrical engineer for Westinghouse Electric, Cleveland, for more than 30 years, and traveled the world while in the company's employ. He retired in 1988.
He married Martha "Marty" Gillen in Biloxi, Miss., on April 14, 1952.
He was an active member of the BPO Elks Lodge No. 549, Painesville. For many years he charmed children by playing Santa Claus, a role he assumed 17 years ago for the Cleveland Institute for the Blind. He was known as The Balloon Man for his habit of making balloon animals at home and during his travels as a way to bridge language barriers and to start friendships.
He also enjoyed golf, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Theresa Jordan of Jacksonville, Fla., Donna Ogle of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Elizabeth Ogle of Chardon; two sons, Jack of Chardon, and Theodore Jr. of South Madison; grandchildren Gene Ogle, Stephanie Jordan, Wesley Jordan, Jennifer Blewett, Deanna Blewett, Julia Blewett, Ashley Ogle, Kelley Ogle and Todd Ogle; two great-grandchildren; two sisters and two brothers.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.
Memorial service is 8 p.m. Friday at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., Chardon. The Rev. Paul Sciarrotta, of Notre Dame Educational Center, Munson Township, and the BPO Elks No. 549, Painesville, will officiate.
Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mildred H. Frame
CHARDON TOWNSHIP - Mildred H. Frame, 91, died Friday, Oct. 12, 2001, at UHHS Geauga Regional Hospital, Claridon Township.
She was born June 14, 1910, in Cleveland, and had been a resident for the past 50 years.
She worked as night supervisor at Finch Cleaners for many years, retiring in 1972.
She enjoyed crochet, knitting and puzzles, and was an avid Cleveland Indians fan.
Survivors include a daughter, Audrey Woods of Chardon Township; and a granddaughter, Linda Nichols.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William; two brothers, John and Robert Hammel; and a grandson, Robert Woods.
Memorial service is 7 p.m. Tuesday at Chardon United Methodist Church, 515 North St., Chardon, with the Rev. Henry Woodruff officiating. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery, Chardon Township.
Family will receive friends immediately after the service.
