Neil D. Palmer
EUCLID - Neil D. Palmer, 79, of Euclid, died Monday, May 28, 2001, in Euclid Hospital, Euclid.
He was born May 16, 1922, in Cherry Valley.
He was a purchasing agent for Euclid Inc. for 30 years, retiring in 1981. A World War II Army Air Corps veteran, Mr. Palmer was a member of Willoughby Hills United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Susanne (Alva) Robidoux; grandson, Adriel Robidoux; brother, Donald Palmer.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn (Keidel); son, Mark Palmer; and brother, Robert Palmer.
Service will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Willoughby Hills United Methodist Church, 34201 Eddy Road, Willoughby Hills. The Rev. Michael Teston will officiate.
Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. today at Brickman and Sons Funeral Home, 21900 Euclid Ave., Euclid.
Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
Allen L. Kordes
MUNSON TOWNSHIP - Allen Lee Kordes, 51, of Munson Township died Thursday, Dec. 5, 2002, at Geauga Regional Hospital, Claridon Township.
He was born June 27, 1951 in Cleveland, the son of Frank J. and Ann (Dulay) Kordes and had lived in Willoughby before moving to Munson Township, 12 years ago.
Mr. Kordes was the materials manager, production scheduling and was in charge of network administration for International Hydraulics in Mentor for 10 years. He had worked in manufacturing for 30 years.
Mr. Kordes was an accomplished Trumpet player, having studied at the Cleveland Institute of Music for four years and was lead trumpet in the band "The Selections."
He married Linda Lee Reimers in Willoughby Dec. 19, 1970.
Mr. Kordes attended Trinity Baptist Church in Mentor and was well read, enjoyed computers and writing poetry.
He was up to date with all the latest "technical gadgets."
Survivors include his wife, Linda Kordes of Munson Township; daughter, Jodi Emerick of Geneva; sons, Matthew Kordes of South Euclid, and Charles Kordes of Munson Township; grandchildren, Lorraine Kordes, Allen, Nathan, Nickolaus and Jocelyn Emerick of Geneva; and brothers, Frank Kordes of Painesville, Clayton Kordes of Indiana and Dale Kordes of Perry.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Lorraine Kordes.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, at Trinity Baptist Church, 9225 Johnnycake Ridge Road, Mentor, with the Rev. Bob Bohnestengel of the church officiating.
A private family burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Munson Township.
Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., Chardon.

LOWELL JOHN BROWN
MUNSON - Lowell John Brown, 91, of Munson, died Thursday, October 2, 2003, at Windsor Estates.
He was a Veteran of W.W. II serving in the U.S. Army.
A Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. on Monday, October 6, 2003, at Church of St. Mary, 401 North Street, Chardon, OH.
Burial will be at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
Family will receive friends from 2 till 5 p.m. on Sunday, October 5, 2003, at the RITONDARO FUNERAL HOME, 126 South Street, (Route 44 South of Route 6), Chardon, OH 44024.
Thomas Ehrbar
MUNSON - Thomas Ehrbar, age 55, born in Cleveland April 20, 1948. Lived in Pittsburgh before moving to Munson four years ago. died Sunday morning, October 19, 2003, at Heather Hill Hospital Health Care Center. Tommy was a noted writer who interviewed Paul Newman, Jonathan Winters and Elie Wiesel, to name just a few that inspired his writings. Tommy was published in two Chicken Soup books, and was awarded the IABC Golden Triangle Communications award many times, which is an award of excellence. Tommy had a wonderful way with humor in life as well as in his many writings. He also took time to coach tee ball, and loved all Cleveland sports.
When Tommy was not golfing, he worked as a feature service writer at the University of Pittsburgh and Kenyon colleges. A Graduate of Notre Dame University, Former congressional reporter for the Republic, as well as a television weather forecaster. Tommy selflessly spent his Thanksgivings serving others in the soup kitchen in Cleveland. Tommy is survived by his brothers and sisters Raymond (Linda) Ehrbar of Concord, OH, Jean (Joseph) Haus of Dayton, Patricia Feeley of Lexington, KY, Donna (William) Henry of Chardon, Stephen (Carla) Ehrbar of Jupiter, Fla., and Angela (Philip) Dych of Aurora; 18 Nieces and Nephews. Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Dorothy.
Family will receive friends at the RITONDARO FUNERAL HOME 126 South Street, Chardon, Tuesday, 2 to 4 and 7 till 9 p.m. Funeral Mass is 10:00 AM Wednesday at Church of St. Mary (401 North Street, Chardon). Burial in All Souls Cemetery, Chardon Twp. Ritondaro Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Pauline "Steffie" Chapman
MUNSON TOWNSHIP - Pauline "Steffie" Chapman, 74, died Monday, Nov. 20, 2000 at her home.
Born July 6, 1926 in Cleveland, she was the daughter of Martin and Pauline (Vehovic) Rogel.
Mrs. Chapman resided in Munson Township for 43 years, and worked as the Food Service Director for Chardon Local Schools for 20 years before retiring in 1986.
She married Leon Chapman at St. Felicitas Catholic Church in Cleveland June 2, 1950.
She was a member of the Church of St. Mary in Chardon Village, a 1944 graduate of Notre Dame Academy in Cleveland, and attended Notre Dame College in Cleveland. She was known for her good food, gardening, and her beautiful roses. She enjoyed polka dancing, her grandchildren, and traveling to Mexico and Florida. She also enjoyed spending time in the backyard and at the Pond, and had a great fondness for all wildlife and her big dog "Duke."
She is survived by her husband; three daughters, Linda M. Chapman of Euclid, Paula L. Robinson of Bath Township, and Jacklyn A. Ryan of Russell Township; four grandchildren, Brooke and Sara Ryan and David and Jeffrey Robinson.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Martin and Stanley Rogell.
Services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at the Church of St. Mary, 401 North St., Chardon Village. The Rev. Paul Sciarrotta of Notre Dame Cathedral Latin Education Center will officiate. Burial will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery, Munson Township.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., Chardon Village.

Margaret J. Harris
MUNSON TOWNSHIP Margaret J. Harris, 85, died Tuesday, April 3, 2001, at Heather Hill Hospital in Munson Township. She had been a resident since 1946 having moved from Cleveland.
She was born Dec. 29, 1915, in Cleveland, the daughter of Alex and Jane (Willison) Johnston.
Mrs. Harris married Charles H. Harris in 1938.
She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Harris sang in the Cleveland Heights High Choir that performed at the Chicago Worlds Fair. She attended Business College in Cleveland prior to World War II. She was a former president of Munson Township, a member of the Parent Teacher Association in the 1950s, being instrumental in the building of the new school.
She enjoyed gardening, working in the yard and loved eating ice cream.
Survivors include three sons, Carl Harris of Munson Township, Roy Harris of Mentor, and Tom Harris of Munson Township; grandchildren, Dee Dee Harris of Windam, Jennifer Harris of Munson Township, Kevin Harris, Brett Harris and Victoria Harris, all of Mentor; and a sister, Helen Johnston of Cleveland Heights.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles H. Harris Jan. 12, 1986; her parents; and a sister, Ruth Johnston.
Private family services were held.

Arretta Ann Bartlett

Visitation: Friday, June 25, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., (On Rt. 44, 500’ south of Rt. 322/Chardon Square) Chardon.
She was a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University, in Richmond, Kentucky, Class of 1968, with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Mrs. Bartlett taught for 8 years at the Chardon Middle School. She enjoyed painting still-life and portraits, receiving numerous art awards for her work. She also was an accomplished photographer. Mrs. Bartlett was a member of the Geauga Board of Realtors. She had worked for Century 21, Smythe-Cramer and Delores Knowlton Realty, and Realty One. She had been a Director of the Chardon Area Chamber of Commerce 1988-2000. Survivors include her husband Frederick of Munson Twp., 3 daughters, Kim Bartlett of Cincinnati, Cindy (Bruce) Sauber of Archbold, and Susan Bartlett of Chardon, 1 son, Charles (Bonnie) Bartlett of Toledo, 2 grandchildren, Jacob and Max Sauber; 2 sisters, Jerrye Jo Redden of Maysville, Kentucky and Kathy Reel of Owensboro, Kentucky and 1 brother, Henry Boone of Maysville, Kentucky. She is predeceased by her parents, Henry and Mildred (Nee: Pollock) Boone.
Helen McNish (nee: Vesely)

Died: August 24, 2004
Services: Friday, August 27, 2004 at 11:00 AM at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., (on St. Rt. 44, 500’ south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square.
Visitation: Friends will be received from 10:00 until the time of the service.
Mrs. McNish was a graduate of Newbury High School, class of 1923. She attended Burton Congregational Church and enjoyed local “Ballroom” dances. Mrs. McNish enjoyed living on the family farm and raising animals. She is survived by her Nieces: Marian Vesely and Bonnie Holzheimer of N. Olmsted. Her husband George McNish, brother James Vesely and sisters Mamie Schmitt Hudec and Lillian Hudec are deceased.
