Funeral mass for Paul Robert Law, age 72, of Mentor-on-the-Lake will be held 1:00 P.M. Monday at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 7575 Bellflower Road, Mentor.
Mr. Law died Thursday December 5, 2002 at Lake West Hospital in Willoughby.
He was born August 2, 1930 in Bucyrus, Ohio and had lived in Mentor-on-the-Lake since 1961.
Mr. Law was retired from TRW Corp. since 1986 where he had worked as a machinist for 38 years.
He was a World War II U.S. Army Veteran, and belonged to VFW Post # 2926 in Bratenahl, and was a Member of St. John Vianney Catholic church. He enjoyed traveling with his wife all over the United States and with their dogs.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years Geraldine (Morscher) Law, Daughters – Christine Mesko of Lenexa, Kansas, and Jolene Law of Mentor, Son – James J. Law of Euclid, Grandchildren – Jessica and Joshua Law, and Matthew Mesko, Sister – Mary LaFrance of LaMirada, Calf., Brother – Edmund (Dorothy) Law of California.
He was preceded in death by his brothers – Francis and Tom, and sister – Martha.

Funeral service for Richard L. ‘Dick” Anderson, age 82, of Mentorwill be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave, Mentor.
Mr. Anderson died Wednesday November 13, 2002 at Heartland of Mentor in Mentor.
He was born January 27, 1920 in Cleveland, Oh., he lived in Mentor since 1960.
Mr. Anderson was a machinist for the former Foote-Burt in Euclid for 36 years retiring in 1976. He was an avid bowler, he had bowled a 300 game. Enjoyed playing pinochle and he was a member of the Eagles Lodge in Willoughby. A U.S. Army veteran of the 10th Mountain Division.
Survivors include his children Betty (Richard) Ivancic of Euclid, Richard J. (Sherry) Anderson of Walton Hills, Michael (Karen) Friedel of Round Hill, Va. and Pamela (Dave) Herbst of Kirtland; grandchildren Laura, Wally, Shelly, Rick, Hayley, Matthew, Krystina and Billy; great grandchildren Adam, Jessica and Cody; brother Edward Anderson of Mentor; Dear Friends Maureen Thompson and Beverly Wall.
He was preceded in death by his wife Wilma; granddaughter Vicki Skora.

Funeral service for Rebecca Barnes, age 92, of Mentor will be held 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service 8466 Mentor Ave. Mentor.
Mrs. Barnes died Wednesday November 13, 2002 at her Daughter’s residence.
She was born June 2, 1910 Hudson, she lived in McMechen, W.Va. before moving to Mentor 2 years ago.
Mrs. Barnes was a retired LPN from the former Euclid General Hospital, Euclid, OH.
Survivors include her daughter Lillian Lucas of Mentor; Great-Granddaughter Courtney Hillis of Mentor; Nieces Betty (Joseph) Shimko of Mentor and Ruth Philabaum of Hudson; Survived by several other nieces, nephews, great-nieces & great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her Husband Paul Barnes; Granddaughter Rebecca Hillis; 4 Sisters & 1 Brother.
Family will receive friends from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Shirley F. Nedley, 75, of Mentor for the past 11 years, and formerly of Wickliffe, died Thursday, Oct. 21, 2010, at Mentor Way Care Center. She was born April 11, 1935, in Juniata, Pa.
Shirley enjoyed crafts, crocheting, knitting, bowling and her family. Mrs. Nedley worked for Bailey Controls as an electronic inspector.
Survivors are her husband, Charles J. Nedley Sr.; children, Robert (Michelle) Nedley of Brandon, Fla., Debra Scott of Mentor, Lois Dawn Stanley of Lakeland, Fla., Susan Lynn (Bill) McPhile of Ashtabula and Charles J. Nedley Jr. of Pepper Pike; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Bob (Jackie) Hart of Florida; sisters, Jane Mills of Eastlake, and Ida Fern Phellan and Dolores Hudak, both of Michigan. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; and a brother.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday October 25, 2010 at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor 44060, where family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

He died November 3, 2002 at Mentor Way Nursing & Rehab Center, Mentor.
Mr. Brown had a career in law enforcement. He enjoyed writing poetry and he loved music.
Mr. Brown was a former member of the choir at Mentor Way.
He was preceded in death by his wife Eleanore in 1967 & his parents Lawrence and Myrtle Brown.

Sophia T. (Jones) Czyzynski, age 38, of Mentor, formerly of Euclid and Chardon, passed away Sept. 10, 2010, at Hospice House in Cleveland. She was born Dec. 27, 1971, in Palm Springs, Calif.
Mrs. Czyzynski worked as an administrative secretary for Dr. McLain in the Neurological Institute Center for Spine Health at the Cleveland Clinic.
Sophia enjoyed running, arts and crafts, and spending time with her family and her dog, Chip.
Survivors include her husband of 16 years, Ronald J. Jr.; daughter, Katie; siblings, Louie Annino of California, Maria Annino of California, Edward Jones of Virginia, Barbara (Robert) Evans of Pennsylvania, Kelley McClelland of Painesville, Larry (Lori) McClelland of Mentor, Randy (Wanda) McClelland of Rock Creek, and Connie (Jack) Bentley of Mentor; grandfather-in-law, Richard Goble of Mentor; father and mother-in-law, Ronald and Christine Czyzynski Sr. of Mentor; sister-in-law, Melissa (Chad) Lewanski of Montville; her daughter Katie's friend, Christy Cipriano; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Margaret Jones; step-mother, Dolores Jones; and step-father, Larry McClelland.
