Bryan A. Champion, age 47, of Perry, formerly of Springfield, passed away Thursday, Nov. 10, 2011, surrounded by family and friends at the Cleveland Clinic after a very courageous four-year battle with cancer. He was born April 24, 1964, in Painesville.
Mr. Champion was a fifth generation nurseryman and president of Herman Losely & Son Nursery in Perry. He graduated from Northeastern High School in 1982, and The Ohio State University in 1987, with a bachelor of science degree in horticulture.
During his nursery career, he had an active role serving as president of the Nursery Growers of Lake County Ohio, the Wholesale Nursery Growers Association and the Ohio Nursery and Landscape Association. He also received the Distinguished Contribution Award from the ONLA. Mr. Champion was an active member of the Painesville United Methodist Church, having served as a trustee and was currently on the staff parish committee.
Survivors are his children, Cara (Jacob) Grantier of Westerville and Jared Champion of Perry. Sister Marcy Winnenberg of Springfield, brother Curtis (Carol) Champion of Bellefontaine; and uncle, Bob (Carol) Lyons of Madison. He is also survived by many other loving family members and friends especially the Shoup Family of Perry.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Laureen J. Champion; and parents, Dennis and JoAnn Champion.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, November 14, 2011 at Painesville United Methodist Church, 71 North Park Place, Painesville, OH 44077.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor, OH 44060. Interment will be held at Perry Township Cemetery in Perry Township.

Vincent F. Zaro, 86, of Eastlake, formerly of Willoughby Hills, died Thursday, June 18, 2009, at Heartland of Mentor. He was born May 5, 1923, in Cleveland.
Mr. Zaro retired as a machine operator from Horsburgh & Scott in Cleveland, after 35 years, in 1985.
He loved model trains, gardening, working on radio and TV repairs and playing his accordion. He was quite a handyman.
Survivors are his daughters, Ann (Michael) Flaherty of Mentor, Louise (James) Feeney of Lakewood, and Theresa (Robert) Iseman of Madison; grandchildren, Denise (Brian) Taddeo of Maine, Laura (Ryan) Rusnak of Madison, Geoffrey (Caryn) Francetic of Phoenix, Erin Feeney of Lakewood and Gary (Jenny) Scott of Eastlake; great-grandchildren, Darin Taddeo, Andrew Rusnak, Vincent Francetic, Nathan Scott and Logan Scott; sisters, Marie Barna and Lillian Nosan; and brother, Charles Zaro.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Frances; son, John; parents, Matthew and Agnes Zaro; sister, Madeline Kovacic; and brother, Matt Zaro.
Memorial service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 23, 2009, at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor.
Friends may visit with the family from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Inurnment to be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
Mass of Christian Burial for Rosemary (Divis) Bordelon, age 83, of Mentor will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Bede the Venerable Catholic Church, 9114 Lakeshore Blvd., Mentor, Mentor.
Mrs. Bordelon died Wednesday November 20, 2002 at Lake Hospital System in Willoughby.
She was born August 10, 1919 in Cleveland, she lived in Willowick before moving to Mentor.
A homemaker. Mrs. Bordelon was a member of St. Bede the Venerable Catholic Church in Mentor. She enjoyed reading, doing crosswords puzzles and playing cards, she was also an excellent baker.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Lenix, Sr.; sons Lenix, Jr. (Patricia) Bordelon, Clarance (Linda) Bordelon, Frank (Virginia) Bordelon, Ralph (Melissa) Bordelon and Larry (Debra) Bordelon; daughter Mary (Thomas) Dempsey; 11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; sister Betty Ryglewicz.
She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Rose Divis; brothers James and Joseph Divis; sister Gert Giel.

Funeral service for Felton Campbell, age 74, of Mentor will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor.
Mr. Campbell died Friday, November 15, 2002 at Lake Hospital System in Willoughby.
He was born July 29, 1928 in Aldamount, Tennessee, he lived in Mentor for the past 47 years.
He was a retired welder at the former Chase Brass & Copper in Euclid for 37 years and he retired in 1988. Member of the George Hayward VFW post #9295 in Mentor. He loved country music, playing the guitar, fishing, his cat TwoTwo and going to Chases in Mentor.
Survivors include his step-son Thomas (Linda) Bidlingmyer of Mentor; grandchildren: Robert, Debbie, Tammy, and Stacy; 5 great grandchildren; sisters Elvada Fults, Gladys Sarton, and Joyce Smart, all of Tennessee; brother Billie Campbell of Tennessee.
He was preceded in death by his wife Vivian, parents Levi and Bessie Campbell and sister Ester Lee.

Funeral Mass for Robert H. Welly, 83, of Mentor, will be 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 8, at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 8560 Mentor Ave., Mentor.
Mr. Welly died Sunday, July 5, at his residence. Born April 6, 1926, in Tiffin, he lived in Tiffin before moving to Mentor 42 years ago.
He was a U.S. Marine veteran of World War II. He was also a past president of Rotary International and a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Mentor.
Mr. Welly was a retired accountant from Lintern Corp. in Mentor, where he worked for 25 years until his retirement in 1991.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Josephine (Dabato) Welly of Mentor; children, Daniel (Annette) Welly of Painesville Township, David (Pam) Welly of Baltimore, Md., Matthew (Elizabeth) Welly of Concord, and Kathy (Jamie) Buzzanca of Mentor; and grandchildren, Bob, Nick, Sarah, David, Kaitlynn, Carrington, Jacob, Madelyn, Estella, Ashley, Emily, Megan and Christopher.
Mr. Welly is preceded in death by his daughter, Robin A. Welly.
Visitation will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor. Interment will be in All Souls Cemetery, Chardon Township.

Warren W. Doman, age 33, a lifetime resident of Concord Twp. Warren died March 18, 2010 at Tri-Point Medical Center in Concord Twp. He was born September 21, 1976 in Willoughby.
Warren graduated from Mentor High School in 1995, he received his associate’s degree from Lakeland Community College and his bachelor’s degree from Cleveland State University, where he won numerous film writing awards. In addition to his accomplishments, Warren also composed the musical scores for the films he created. He worked as a substitute teacher for the Riverside local school district and the city of Painesville city school district.
His passion was filmmaking and film writing, he had several films shown at the Cleveland Cinematheque. He was a member of a writers group that met monthly at Barnes & Noble. Warren was a gentle soul, that touched so many lives through his laughter, stories, and caring of family, friends, and animals. He will be in our hearts forever with the memories he has left: movies, music he has created, and the love he had for all of us.
Survivors include his parents David and Sally Doman of Concord Twp; sister Rebecca (Dan) Doman-Nehrer of Willowick; paternal grandmother Gladys Doman of Olmsted Falls; aunts Sharan (Dave) Carr and Stephanie (John) Cole; uncle Kevin (Diane) Doman; beloved canine companion Sadie. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents William and Elizabeth Trepoy; paternal grandfather Steven Doman.

Funeral mass for Kevin Keith Cook, age 41, of Cleveland will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at St. Justin Martyr Church, 35781 Stevens Blvd., Eastlake.
Mr. Cook died Sunday, November 24, 2002 at St. Augustine Health Campus in Cleveland.
He was born June 12, 1961 in Painesville, he lived in Painesville and Mentor before moving to Cleveland 10 years ago.
Mr. Cook was an owner of the former RC Construction in Painesville. Very active outdoorsmen, former member of St. Bede the Venerable Catholic Church in Mentor.
Survivors include his daughter Jessica R. Cook of Perry and son Jeff L. Cook of Perry; wife Coleen Cook of Perry; father Sylvester “Cy” Cook of Mentor; sisters Debbie Cook of Mentor, Edie Landers of Mentor, Mary (Gordon) Weishner of Eastlake, and Susan (Steven) Parker of Mentor; brothers Rick (Donna) Cook of Andover, Leonard (Sherie) Cook of Painesville, Sylvester (Janine) Cook Jr. of Painesville, Randy Cook of Eastlake; 12 nieces and nephews; 6 great nieces and nephews.
