Elizabeth J. Harton
COLUMBUS - Former Burton resident Elizabeth J. Harton, 27, died Friday, Aug. 2, 2002.
She was born March 31, 1975, in Mayfield Heights, the daughter of Peter and Joyce (Bland) Strmen
A Columbus resident for seven years, Mrs. Harton was a police cadet at the Columbus Police Department and as a substitute teacher in the Hilliard School System, Columbus.
A 1993 Berkshire High School graduate, she received her degree in English from Ohio Dominican in Columbus.
She was a Party Lite consultant and a long-distance biker, riding several years ago in Bike Across America.
Survivors include her parents; three children, Wesley, Matthew and Isabella; two brothers, Gary Moneysmith of Granville and Steven Strmen of Burton; paternal grandmother, Olga Strmen of Richmond Heights; and maternal grandmother Elizabeth Bland of Jekyll Island, Ga.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Karol Strmen; and maternal grandfather, Edward Bland.
Funeral mass is 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. Helens Church, Route 87, Newbury Township, with the Rev. Jay McPhillips officiating. Burial will be in Welton Cemetery, Burton.
Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Russell Golden Rule Funeral Service, 15670 W. High St., Middlefield.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Elizabeth Strmen Harton Memorial Fund at any Huntington National Bank.
Raymond B. Warner
HOMERVILLE - Raymond B. Warner, 77, died on Sunday, Oct. 21, 2001, at his residence.
Mr. Warner, the son of Barlett and Elsie (Lange) Warner, was a native of Chardon prior to moving to Clinch County three and half years ago.
He was foreman for Geauga, Ohio County Road Department.
Mr. Warner was a member of the Waycross Toast Masters Club and the Homerville Exchange Club. He was also a member of the Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Lakeland.
Survivors include his wife, Mary (Saladin) Warner of Homerville; two daughters, Sister Mary Dolores Warner of Poor Clares, and Ella Fay Garret of Wichita Kan.; two sons, Mitchell Warner of Lake City, Fla. and Daniel Warner of Aurora ; and four grandchildren.
Memorial mass will be 7:30 p.m. on Monday at the Church of St. Mary, 401 North St., Chardon.
The Ritondaro Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Crist E. Slabaugh
TROY TOWNSHIP - Crist E. Slabaugh, 78, of Patch Road, died Friday afternoon, April 4, 2003, at his home.
He was born Nov.18, 1924, in Parkman Township, the son of Enos and Sarah (Miller) Slabaugh, and had been a lifelong area resident.
A farmer and harness maker, he married Amanda Miller on Dec. 2, 1947, in Middlefield. He was a member of Old Order Amish Church.
Survivors include his wife; eight daughters; seven sons; two sisters, Martha Yoder of Parkman and Melinda Miller of Wisconsin; 96 grandchildren and 46 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son; one sister; and two grandchildren.
Service is 10 a.m. Monday at his home. Bishop Roy Miller will officiate. Burial will be at Hershberger Cemetery in Troy Township. Friends may call anytime at the residence.

Mabel M. Steele
MORENO VALLEY, Calif. - Mabel May Steele, 86, died May 13, 1999.
She was born May 4, 1913 in Cleveland. She also resided in Geneva and Ashtabula.
Survivors include daughters Brenda Steele Eads of San Diego, Calif., and Charlene Steele Smout of Moreno Valley, Calif.
Graveside service is 10 a.m. today at Acacia Park Cemetery, 1880 Som Center Road, Mayfield.
Mary O'Connor
COCONUT GROVE, Fla. - Mary O'Connor, 84, of Coconut Grove, Fla., died Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2002, in Coconut Grove.
She was born Dec. 10, 1918, in Marion, Ill., the daughter of John and Simona Pirrello.
She married Joseph O'Connor in 1944 in Brooklyn, N.Y.
Survivors include her twin brother, Angelo Pirrello of Ashtabula; brothers Vincent Pirrello and Frank Pirrello, of New York and Pennsylvania; a sister, Santa Pederson of Florida; and three sons, a daughter and eight grandchildren, all living in Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, in 2001; three sisters and two brothers.
Services were held in South Miami, Fla. Mt. Nebo Funeral Home of South Miami, Fla., handled arrangements.
Helen K. Brydle
HUNTING VALLEY - Helen K. Brydle, 98, died Oct. 2, 2002.
Survivors include nieces and nephews and several cousins of the Ashtabula area.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother Hubert R. and Lena Dubach King of Ashtabula; sisters Cora Leona King and Verenta Marina King; brother Dwight Hubert King.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2 p.m., in the Edgewood Cemetery, Ashtabula.

Marjorie J. Rosintoski
CHARLESTON, W.Va. - Marjorie J. Rosintoski, 73, formerly of South Denmark Road, Denmark Township, died Sunday, June 2, 2002, at the Charleston Area Medical Center.
Mrs. Rosintoski was born Dec. 9, 1928, in Nanty-Glo, Pa., the daughter of Leonard and Lula (Gotschall) Haley.
She lived in the Jefferson area before moving to West Virginia to live with her son for the past year and a half.
She was affiliated with the Jefferson United Methodist Church. Along with her husband, Jack, she owned and operated Millcreek Farms on South Denmark Road for 31 years.
Mrs. Rosintoski also operated Covered Bridge Kennels on the farm for several years, breeding and raising AKC German Shepherds.
She enjoyed crafts and participating in the Covered Bridge Festival.
Survivors include her two sons, Ronald J. Rosintoski of Winfield, W.Va., and James L. Rosintoski of Zanesville; sister, Dolores Koch of Fredericksburg, Md., and brother, Donald Haley of Pennsylvania.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1999 and her parents.
Services are 8 p.m. Thursday at the Fleming Funeral Home Inc., 49 W. Jefferson St., Jefferson, with the Rev. Meredith Coleman of the Jefferson United Methodist Church officiating.
Burial will be 10 a.m. Friday in South Denmark Cemetery, Clay Road, Denmark Township.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Jefferson United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, 125 E. Jefferson St., Jefferson.
